Love & Heartbreak

It has been eight years since Ash Ketchum left Pallet Town with the dream to be the greatest Pokémon Master and he is competing in the Indigo League Championships again. He has reached the final and is facing off against his rival Gary Oak.

“Pikachu, Thunder,” yelled Ash. With a deafening boom, Pikachu releases all of his electricity in one incredible blast, decimating Gary’s Arcanine.

When the smoke clears the announcer says, “Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the newest Pokémon League Champion, Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town.”

Way to go Ash,” Misty thinks as she leaves the stadium. “Now that Ash has won the championship, I guess he wouldn’t want some loudmouth hanging around with him

I wonder where Misty is. I didn’t see her after the battle,” Ash thinks as he heads back to the set of rooms where he and his friends are staying. As he passes by Misty’s room he hears the sound of water running. “Why would Misty have water running like that, unless?” Ash quickly runs into Misty’s room to see her standing with her arm in a sink filled with red water. “Misty, what do you think that you are doing,” Ash screams as he grabs here arm and wraps a towel around her wrist. “You wouldn’t want some whiny brat hanging around with you now that you’re the champion;” Misty gets out around her tears. “Misty, why would you think that, I love you. Now we need to get you to the hospital, you’ve lost a lot of blood,” saying this Ash gets the phone and dials 911.

Misty recovered from the attempted suicide and 6 months later Ash and Misty were married. Ash got a job working with Prof. Oak and shortly afterwards Misty gave birth to twin children. Ash had never been happier and told Misty this one night before they went to sleep. “Ash, I have something to tell you,” Misty said. Ash asks, “What is it Misty.” “This is a dream; you’re still at the hospital,” replies Misty.

“Mr. Ketchum, wake up,” a doctor shakes Ash to full consciousness and says that he has something to tell him. “I’m sorry sir, the young girl you brought in had lost too much blood, we couldn’t save her.”
