The Mysterious Pokemon Academy ************ Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon, although I'd like to etc. I do however own Crystal and her family (Please don't steal them!) ************ Prologue ******** The Pokemon School in Saffron City, Kanto, was pretty impressive to look at.It was huge, and the walls were painted in a creamy, beige-ish color. It had ten floors, and a big schoolyard with battlefields behind it. At the front was some impressive-looking staircase that led up to a big solid oak door. Above the entrance was a sign that read 'Saffron City Pokemon Acadamy' in silver letters. This was the finest (and most expensive) Pokemon School in the whole of Kanto, Johto AND Hoenn. It was also very old, and was built on the top of a hill, so that it looked even bigger. Crystal hated this. A new school. A new City. She remembered her mothers words, 'Honey, I've gotten a new job!' Crystal had been so happy. Her mother had been out of work the last two months, after the lab where she'd worked had burned to the ground because of an experiment gone wrong. But her mothers next words had killed Crystal's happiness. 'Only, the job is in Saffron City, in Kanto. We'll have to move.' And they had. Crystal had wondered how they would manage to get all the members of her family, everything they owned, plus all their Pokemon, from Mossdeep City in Hoenn to Kanto in one piece. But it had worked. They had been lucky to find a big enough house with a large garden. Crystal's father was really happy for the garden. It was bigger than their old one, and now all their Pokemon could live outside, as they should do. Before, some of them had to live in the house, because the garden wasn't big enough to accommodate all of them. Crystal's family had about 50 Pokemon, and that was because her father, Steven, was a Pokemon collector. Crystal's older sister, Ruby, was following her father's footsteps, and brought home at least one new Pokemon every month. Her father was very happy about that, but her mother, Lina, was a bit concerned that they wouldn't be able to afford to feed all those Pokemon as well as themselves. But they had always had enough money. Jewel, Crystal's younger sister, wanted to be a Pokemon Master. Crystal kept telling her that she was too young, and that she had to wait until she was older, but Jewel never listened to her. It was only Ruby and her parents that could handle Jewel. Especially Ruby. Jewel, being only eight years old, had immense respect of her eighteen-year-old sister. Crystal was a bit different than the rest of her family. Her parents and sisters all had flaming red hair and green-brown eyes. Crystal, however had silver-colored hair and icy blue eyes. She had inherited her looks from her grandmother, who had died a couple of years ago. Crystal had been really close to her grandmother, and had, with the rest of her family, been very sad when she had died. Before she had passed away, however, she had given Crystal her first Pokemon, a Duskull. Crystal loved Duskull, whom she had named Spectro, and he loved her too. Crystal remembered her mother's words before the trip, 'Now, you know there's a really good Pokemon School in Saffron, don't you?', and Crystal had nodded and her mother had continued, 'And since you're 14 years old, we, dad and I, has decided it's time for you to get a real Pokemon-education. That'll be greast, won't it?', her mother had asked. Crystal had only shrugged as an answer. 'I am sure you'll make friends right away!', her mother had added hopefully, though she wasn't so sure about that. Crystal was kind of a lone wolf, and her one and only friend was Spectro. She didn't like the idea of starting a new school in a new City, but she didn't have any choice. And now she was there. Crystal looked at the huge staircase. There were kids of all ages around her, talking, laughing, and chasing eachother around the schoolyard. Crystal sighed. Her long hair ruffled in the light breeze. She took a deep breath and started walking up the stairs to the entrance. 'This better be good', she muttered to herself, and pushed the door open... ****************************************** And that was the prologue!! Hope you liked it!
