Ages (see part 1) Other Facts (see part 1) Disclaimer: Let's see if I own pokemon yet ***checks computer files*** nope not yet. I wish I did, tho. so, the message is if you sue me, u r wasting your time Part 2: Creation "So Ash, you're sure we should establish our base here, right?" asked Gary. "Yup, underneath Saffron City sounds good, since it's the middle of Kanto," Ash replied. 8 months later… "Well, Gary, our secret underground facility is finally finished," Ash said with excitement. This was unusual, since Ash's voice and face usually didn't betray his emotions. The duo had gone to Sabrina, the Saffron City gym leader, and she had agreed to help with the cause against Team Rocket. She was also the first member to join the Shadow Shots. Not only was she a billionaire, but she also had the power of telekinesis and mind reading, a couple of very useful abilities. With her enormous funds, the two friends had managed to establish a very secure base. Now the only jobs left now were to make sure the public knew who the Shadow Shots were and to go and find some recruits. ****** "Greetings, citizens of Kanto. As most of you should know, I am Ash Ketchum, the current Pokemon Master and league champion. As we all understand, we are currently under siege from the criminal organization Team Rocket. Due to these circumstances, my friend Garick Oak, the grandson of Professor Samuel Oak, have joined together to form a new crime-fighting organization. We are called the Shadow Shots, and WILL bring Team Rocket down. This message is for the public to know that a group more powerful than even Team Rocket has been formed. If you are watching this now, Team Rocket, be warned that you will be terminated. Signing out." This was the message sent to millions of TV's across Kanto, and even some in the remaining parts of Johto. Gary had installed a special program to interrupt every television capable of receiving the message, allowing many people who were watching the news to hear the small speech from the champion. Many were in awe, while most did not believe even the great Ash Ketchum could defeat Team Rocket, for to them the Rockets were too great an evil. ****** "…warned that you will be terminated. Signing out." Brock Slate sighed and turned off the television. He didn't want to watch the news anymore. Besides, he had to watch over his own organization from his own private office. 2 hours later… Brock put his pen down. He just couldn't choose missions for his agents at a time like this. He sighed again. "Ash, I can't believe you have actually started your own organization, especially with Gary. Then again, you repaired your friendship with him after you became champion. Still, I didn't expect this from you. When we were kids, you were so naïve and independent. Now, you're planning to fight Team Rocket with a bunch of inexperienced agents. To me, you are just sacrificing lives. If you wanted to form an organization to fight Team Rocket, you should've made it public almost a year ago. You're lucky that Giovanni has decided to lie low for a while." Brock sighed once more. "Ash, don't be an idiot. Just end this whole plan of yours. It's way too late for newcomers…" ****** "…be terminated. Signing out." Misty Waterflower shook her head. "You were always the idiot, Ash," Misty said to herself under her breath. "Always trying to be the hero, even if it is too late. You were lucky that when we were kids your little 'plans' worked out great. But now it is way too late. Just butt out Ash." 'But who am I kidding? I still love him…wait, I can't…after all, how can I love him? I left him because I was hurt…' Misty thought. She leaned on the wall. 'I guess I'm still in love with the boy, but I can't allow that to happen. We're at war with Team Rocket, and love just isn't the thing for me. Besides, I hate him more than I love him.' ****** It's been a week, and Gary had gone out early in the morning to search for some possible 'candidates.' Ash's beeper sounded. Gary had arrived. Ash began the long walk to the garage from his own private office that was right next to Gary's. "He had better have some people with potential," Ash muttered to himself. "Knowing him, he will probably only choose the hot girls and if I'm lucky, at least one boy." He stopped right in the garage. After taking a quick glance of all the candidates. He didn't know how right he was. "Hey Ash!" Gary shouted from his limo that he had used to search for the right people. Charles, their private butler, approached Ash and whispered in his ear. "He insisted that the only good people he could find were women, except for that fellow there. His partner is that lady over there," Charles told him. He pointed to a man with blue hair tied into a ponytail and a woman with long red hair. Ash raised his eyebrow at this. "Let's see if he made the right choice…" he muttered. ****** Ash mouth dropped open. Ash was surprised that each one of them passed his tests with flying colors. Gary cleared his throat, a signal that said 'quiet down.' Ash just rolled his eyes. "Excuse me, but we need you to go to sleep right now. Tomorrow is your first day of training, and we want to have each and every one of you be at their full potential. After tonight, you may go to sleep at anytime you wish, the only requirement is that you can be ready for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. the next day," Gary said. Slowly, all of the new agents had gone to bed. Gary's cell phone rang. He turned it on and started talking. Ash went ahead, eager to go to sleep. Gary ran up to him. "Who was it?" Ash asked. "It was only Sabrina. She said she would arrive tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. sharp," Gary answered in a sleepy tone. "Boy, you sure are tired. It's only 8:30, I think," Ash said. "Yeah, well, when you try to find some gifted people for a whole day it usually involves a lot of driving, talking, and walking. It really takes the energy out of you," Gary replied. He yawned. Ash began to think. "Why'd you pick Jessie and James?" he questioned Gary. "Well, they are very capable of surpassing our expectations. Besides, they quit Team Rocket right after you became champion," Gary replied to his question. "Oh, never knew that…." Ash said thoughtfully. "Of course you never knew that, you're Ash Ketchum, and you are very dense. You only know that know that now because I told you so," Gary said matter-of-factly. "Yes, you're right…. hey wait a minute!" Ash said angrily. The sounds of Gary's laughter echoed throughout the whole facility. Ash's punch to his shoulder caused Gary to yelp, also echoing throughout the whole facility. ****** All the Shadow Shots agents slept in the same huge, gigantic room. Right when they went in all of the new agents began to chat mindlessly. The only people who weren't participating in this senseless jabber were Jessie, James, and a tall, blonde woman. "Hi, what's your name? You seem vaguely familiar," James asked the blonde lady. "My name's Daisy, and you seem familiar to me, too," replied Daisy. Her eyes widened suddenly. "Wait, I remember who you are, you and that woman next to you are members of Team Rocket! You tried to steal the pokemon from the Cerulean City gym a couple of times!" James had a puzzled look on his face. Then he remembered. "Oh yeah, you were one of those Sensational Sisters! Besides, that was in the past. We quitted Team Rocket three years ago." James said. Daisy then stayed quiet. Jessie had heard the whole conversation, and she was surprised that one of the Sensational Sisters wasn't talking very much. She asked Daisy what was wrong. "Oh, if you must know, I'm pretty sure that you know that Ash is also the headmaster here at Shadow Shots. Well, my little sister Misty broke up with him almost 3 years ago, only 2 months after she had gotten together with Ash. She had complained that Ash didn't pay enough attention to her and was also flirting with those girls who wanted to date him because of his position as champion and because of his looks. So she left," Daisy replied sadly. She continued, "About one year ago, Misty asked me to join her crime-fighting organization called the Aqua Clouds. I refused, since I didn't think I would be very good at fighting crime. She said she would ask me again if she needed me to be an agent. But now, since I saw the legendary Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak start their own fighters guild, I thought that I should stay here instead." "I see…………well, good-night Daisy. Don't worry; Misty should understand when she's done being angry. After tailing after the twerps for so long, I've discovered…she has a hot temper," Jessie told Daisy. Daisy giggled. "Thanks, Jessie. Good-night." Jessie didn't answer. She had already fallen asleep. But before Daisy closed her eyes, she swore she heard a 'I wish Ash would date me!' ****** Misty was in an outrage. "WHAT?!" she screamed. Lily and Violet came to her private office immediately. "Like, what happened, Misty?" Lily asked. "Yeah, like the whole building heard you!" Violet scolded. "Look at this note!" Misty said angrily. Lily and Violet looked at the piece of paper that Misty had wrinkled, ripped, and crumpled in her fury. Dear sisters, Gary has invited me to be an agent of the Shadow Shots. I felt that this new guild was a lot different than the Aqua Clouds, and more to my taste, so I went along with him. Once we are there, Ash will test me to see if I'm good enough. If I'm not, I'll return home. If I did pass his tests, I'll try and write every week. Bye. Love, Daisy "She went with Gary and now she's going to try and join h…h…hi…hi…HIM!" Misty said with disbelief. "Take it easy, Misty, I know that you still love Ash and all, but like, you gotta let Daisy choose where she wants to go. Don't let your love-struck life get like in the way of hers," Lily told her. "I DO NOT LOVE HIM! BESIDES, HOW COULD SHE PICK HIM OVER ME!" Misty yelled at the top of her lungs. "I can name several reasons: he's totally hot, totally skilled, totally nice, and he doesn't have a temper like yours," Violet teased. "OH YEAH? WELL I WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT HE IS A DENSE, INCONSIDERATE, UNROMANTIC, ATTENTION-LOVING WANNABE!" Misty screamed. "I BET THAT IN 2 WEEKS HIS ORGANIZATION WILL BE NOTHING!" 2 weeks later… "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! HIS ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN UP FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AND HIS GROUP'S RATING IS HIGHER THAN MINE'S!" That was the way Misty freaked out after she found out that Ash and Gary's fighters guild were still standing and had a much more better success rate than Misty's own fighters guild. ****** "Are you sure we should do this?" Ash asked Gary. "Yes, I'm sure. Her guild's style is very close to our own style. If this plan works, Team Rocket will fall," Gary replied. "Besides, this will be interesting, watching you two duke it out!" The next day, Gary was seen walking around with a black eye. ****** Misty was checking her mail, when a certain letter caught her eye. She scanned it for any possible danger and the results were that the letter was safe. These days, she always scanned the letters from people she didn't know. This letter was from 'Anonymous.' Misty tore up the envelope and looked at the note inside. She screamed. Lily came rushing in. Violet wasn't there since she was at the mall, one of her old habits that she had to give up when she joined the Aqua Clouds. "Like, what's wrong?" Lily asked in a worried tone. "Ash and Gary want me to join their guild. They're expecting me to answer them at Maple River." Misty replied with a shaky voice. "Wow! But any specific reason at Maple River? I mean, isn't that near a Team Rocket base?" Lily asked. "I know the reason. That's where I met Ash." ****** Misty had thought long and hard about her decision. Finally, in the middle of the night, she had made her choice. Then she immediately fell asleep… ****** "So, Miss Waterflower, what is your decision? Will you join us or refuse?" Gary asked. Ash just stayed quiet. "I have decided. I will join forces with you." Misty replied. "Then it is decided," Ash suddenly spoke up. "We have become allies." Ash and Gary took turns shaking hands with Misty. When their hands met, Ash and Misty couldn't help but think 'His/her hand is so warm and soft…' Before the two boys left, Ash turned around. "By the way, your bodyguards can come out," he said with a smile. Misty blushed, and signaled Lily, Violet, and Duplica to come out. "How'd you know?" she asked. "Heard them talking about me. That's Lily, Violet, and Duplica, right? Wow they sure have grown into beautiful women," he said with a goofy grin. Misty growled. The three girls blushed deep red. "Well, gotta go, ladies. See you around," Ash said, giving them each his goofy grin, but giving Misty the biggest one. Misty felt her face grow as hot as a volcano. A few seconds later, they heard Gary's voice. "Ok, since you flirted with them, it's my turn to flirt with any hot girls we meet," he said with enthusiasm dripping in his voice. "Yeah, well, when my next turn's over, I'll be swarmed with dates," they heard Ash reply. "Oh yeah? I'll bet a Porsche and a chocolate Crunch bar that I'll get that hot chick named Stacy back at HQ to date me before she dates you. Then again, I don't think she will ever date you," Gary teased. "You're on! She'll like you so much that she will even forget your name! If she sees you, she'll be like 'Ewww it's Ash's friend umm I forgot his name he's just gross!' Ha ha!" Ash countered. All the girls couldn't help but giggle. Even Misty couldn't stop laughing at the boy's own personal 'war.' ****** Part two done! Review at bladestorm56@comcast.net! Signing out!
