Part 5. The Search Party Cometh!

“Oh my!” Delia said to the mystery person and dropped the cup she was holding, with it shattering all over the ground.

“Hello Delia. Nice to see you again,” this mystery person said.

Gary, Tracy, and Brock were staring mouths open when Tracy said, “I didn’t know that Ash had a dad.”

“Never did I and I have know him longer then you guys,” Gary said disbelieving.

“I can see why you don’t believe me. After all it has been a while since I have been here,” the mystery man said looking at Delia.

“Almost 15 years,” Delia said with tears in her eyes.

“I know,” the man said and revealed himself to be Lance of the Elite Four!

“Lance!” Tracy, Brock, and Gary yelled in unison.

“Yes,” he said stepping further into the house. “Now when did you notice them missing?”

Three hours later when Brock had finished filling him in the doorbell rang again.

“Hi! You like called us saying Misty was kidnapped! Is she okay?” one of Misty’s sisters, Lily, said.

“She’s fine,” Gary said with sarcasm who answered the door. “Team Rocket just called and told us they were fine.”

“Are you picking on me?” Lily questioned narrowing her eyes.

‘No! No! Of course not. I would never pick on an intelligent girl,” Gary said with his voice thick with sarcasm.

With that he got three waps to the head. “Don’t pick on our sister!” Daisy and Violet said in unison.

“Gotcha!” he said staggering the door. “Let me hold the door open!”

“Thank you!” they said walking through.

Gary was about to close the door, and recovered by the blows heard someone yell, “wait!”

The kid was a little shorter then Gary had a blue t-shirt on with a yellow vest, and brown pants. He was accompanied by a Pikachu with very messy hair. There was also a girl there just as tall as Gary. She had blue jeans and a red t-shirt tucked in. She had a Ditto by her feet.

“Who are you?” Gary asked suspiciously.

“I am Ritchie, and this is Sparky!” the boy said motioning to his Pikachu.

“I am Duplica, and this my Ditto!” the girl said holding up her prized pokemon.

“I don’t know you,” Gary said and was about to close the door.

“Wait! Brock called us!” Ritchie yelled out.

At that Gary stopped and called for Brock.

Brock came and straightened things out. When they came in they discussed what they were going to do over dinner. They decided since it was to dark to do anything that they would wait till morning. No one noticed that Pikachu was also missing.
