“You should wait till you defuse before using the Time Matrix,” Dende said to Mish.

“Probably a good idea,” Mish answered.

“Anybody want something to eat?” Mr. Popo asked, holding many plates of food. Mish and Gotenks began to eat furiously.

“What are we going to do with Garlic Jr. there? He isn’t going to stay down forever,” Tails said motioning to the still form of the enemy they had defeated.

“We’ll use the Time Matrix and send him back to the Dead Zone,” Dende answered. Dende pressed his hand against the cold, white surface and concentrated. In a moment Garlic Jr. vanished, back to the Dead Zone. After about twenty-five minutes Gotenks defused back into Trunks and Goten, and about five minutes after that Mish defused back into Ash and Misty.

“That was weird,” Ash said shaking his head.

“Definitely,” Misty agreed.

“So are we heading off for our own worlds now?” Tails asked.

“Yah. So I wonder whose we’re going to do. Ours or yours,” Amy said staring at the Time Matrix.

“All I know is the more time we stand around the more time we have till we get back to our worlds,” Misty said impatiently.

“(I want up mommy)!” Togepi asked Misty holding her arms above her head to emphasize the point.

“(Let’s go already)!” Pikachu yelled and walked to the Time Matrix.

Tails, Amy, Ash, Misty, Togepi, and Pikachu said their last goodbyes to Trunks and Goten and they all concentrated on their worlds. In a flash of light they awoke, in another world.

“So were are we? This is woods. Which could be either of ours,” Ash said looking around in the forest they were in. Suddenly a blue blur appeared before them and stopped. Standing their at about three feet tall, slightly taller then Tails or Amy, was a blue hedgehog, standing on his hind legs. He had red and white shoes with buckles on them and green eyes.

“Sonic!” Tails cried out and ran to his friend. Amy soon after.

“Who are these guys? They look like Overlanders. Except those two creatures,” the hedgehog, Sonic, said staring at the four creatures before him.

“Don’t worry, they’re our friends. We’ll explain everything at Knothole,” Tails told him. Sonic brought them to the secret entrance into Knothole and they all entered. Ash, Misty, Pikachu, and Togepi were all astounded at what they saw. Houses made from wood, inside trees, and several animals who were larger and standing on their hide legs then most people are used to. And what astounded them even further was that all of them good talk.

“Come on guys, Sally is waiting for us,” Sonic said impatiently tapping his foot when Ash, Misty, Pikachu, and Togepi stopped to stare at everything before them.

Soon they got into a hut which held two more animals. One was a walrus, smaller then most walrus’s, was sitting on a stool, working on something. He had a light blue vest on which had a large number of assorted tools, and gizmos. The other was a fox, she stood as tall as Sonic and wore a blue vest, what looked like a Palm Pilot on her side and red boots.

“This is Sally, and this is Rotor,” Amy said introducing the new people. Sally was the fox and Rotor was the walrus.

After all the introductions were over they began to talk about less important things, and trying to figure out what they needed to do here.
