They got up the next day wondering what would happen. When they looked outside they found a strange world. Visser Three had obviously been using the Time Matrix for his preparation for taking over Earth. Suddenly a knock was heard on the door.

“Open up! It’s me Marco!” Marco said pounding on the door.

Ash ran up and opened the door for him. He was accompanied by Ax who was in human form.

“You wouldn’t believe it! Robots began to search people’s homes and take prisoners. They got my dad,” Marco said adding that last comment quietly.

“Shadowbots,” Tails said. “They must be using the Time Matrix to bring their army’s here.”

“Then why are we sitting here? We need to get to a safer place! Where else can we go?” Misty yelled.

“Well I know one place but it will be really hard to get their, with all the Shadowbots, as Tails calls them, coming down the street,” Marco said looking out the window.

“Perhaps we should have them morph?” Ax said.

“You are actually suggesting that we give them the morphing power?” Marco asked confused.

“It seems logical. Why not?” Ax asked shrugging, a human habit he had picked up.

“Well I brought it so the Yeerks wouldn’t get it so ok,” Marco said producing a small blue cube, about the size of a small tissue box.

“What do we need to do?” Amy asked curiously peering at the cube.

“Just put your hand on the nearest square,” Marco instructed.

After everyone had touched the cube they felt no different.

“Are you sure this worked? I don’t feel different,” Ash asked staring at his hands.

“Trust me,” Ax said.

“We need a bug of some sort,” Marco said searching around. He spotted a fly and after several unsuccessful try’s he got it.

“Me first!” Goten yelled and got the fly from Marco.

“Ok now just concentrate on the fly. What it looks like and what it does,” Marco said. And after he did it he gave it Trunks who also was able to accomplish it. Tails and Amy were to follow.

“Wait! What about Pikachu and Togepi?” Ash asked.

“Your Pikachu seems smart enough to be able to use the morphing technology, however the eggg, eeeggggg, shaped one seems infantile,” Ax said playing with words.

“Pikachu! Pi Ka chu!” ( I’ll do it. Togepi will need help ) Pikachu said who got it translated by Ash.

“Well what about Togepi? I am not leaving her here!” Misty said, not noticing that Togepi was starting to wave her arms.

Pikachu then acquired the fly and gave it to Ash, Ash offered it to Misty who just cringed in terror.

“Why don’t we do it together?” Ash asked holding out his clenched hand which held the fly.

“Ummm, ok,” Misty said submitting.

After about ten seconds they both announced that they were done and Togepi was almost done waving her arms.

Suddenly they disappeared and reappeared in front of a house. All of them.

“What happened?” Marco said moving his head around.

“Where are we?” Goten asked looking around.

“Hey were at Ereks’!” Marco said figuring it out. “And the door’s unlocked!”

They clambered inside to find Erek. He had brown hair to a little bit above his ears, he was somewhat short but taller then Marco, and he was well built. { you know I checked the middle of Animorphs ten to find a description, didn’t find one so I went to the beginning and what do you know? }

“Hi Erek. Long time no see,” Marco said standing up to the normal looking boy.

“Do they?” Erek asked motioning to the group.

“Sorta, they’re friends. Can we get to a better place and discuss this? Right Ax? Ax?” Marco said looking around for his friend. Trunks and Goten were gone to.

“MY COOKIES!” was heard and everyone ran into the kitchen to find Ax, Goten, and Trunks, all greedily devouring Oreo cookies. {I do not own Oreos!}

Ax’s human face was smeared with the cream from the cookies as he kept gulping down one after another. Goten and Trunks were also messy as they were eating two or three at a time. In a matter of seconds they were all gone.

“Are you sure he’s an extremely smart alien?” Amy asked Marco.

“I wonder myself sometimes,” Marco said shaking his.

“Can we have more cookies? I only have about fifteen of your minutes left in this morph and would like some more,” Ax said looking greedily at the cupboards.

“Why don’t we discuss this in a better spot,” Erek said and led them to his basement.

“Why are we don here? It’s dark,” Goten asked looking around.

“Are you sure there are no bugs down here?” Misty said looking all over the ground.

“Nope, I’m not programmed to hurt anything living so I wouldn’t know,” Erek said grabbing the line for the light.

“Programmed?” Tails said out loud right before they plummeted into the earth.

A.N. For you Animorphs fans you know what is happening. For everyone else I’ll just say it isn’t bad. I hope that the next one will be better. Here’s a sneak peak for later parts.
