Ash has gotten over Misty, and is now dating Ashly, and their Pendants glow brightly now. Now sit back, and enjoy the show...I mean, Story. 4 years later... Ash looked over at Ashly. This morning she was going diving with Nurse Joy, to a colony of Cloyster. Ashly was wearing a pink, skin-tight wet suit, and her water-proof medical bag was attached to her hip. Ash looked at her, blushing, and somewhat protectivly. "You'll be carefull, right?" Ash asked, looking into her blue-ish brown eyes. "Of, course, Ash. Anything for you." Ashly smiled, and as she caressed Ash's cheek, the ring on her left hand sparkled in the sunlight. It was a small, gold pikachu-shaped ring, with ruby cheeks and saphire eyes, clutching a small ruby heart in its tiny gold paws. Ash watched as she and Nurse Joy dove into the water, and disapeared from sight. Sighing, he walked into the Pokemon Centre, and sat down behind the desk to finish his paper work. He was thinking about Pikachu, and he didn't notice Brock walk behind him, from ward 3. Ash furrowed his brow in frustration. "Yo, Matt! Something wrong, bud?" Ash jumped four feet in the air, and landed SMACK! upside down in his chair, hitting his head on the desk. "Unnh! You could say that." Ash grunted, trying to right himself in the chair."I just need some time to myself." "Oh, yeah! You're a work-aholic, long suffering from Workin-itis." "Hah-hah! Very funny!" "I'll leave you alone this afternoon, okay Matt?" "Yeah. Thanks, El-Brocko." Ash finished his work, and was worrying about Pikachu again, when... "To protect the world from devestation!" "To unite all peoples within our nation! "To denounce the evils of truth and love!" "To extend our reach to the stars above!" "Jessie!" "James!" "Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" "Surrender now, or prepare to fight!" "Meowth that's right!" Ash sighed with disgust. He hadn't seen them for 4 and (maybe) a half years, but they were still as annoying as ever, and then some. "Ye-uk!"Ash muttered, regarding them as he always did: as lower life forms. "Whyare you here, and what do you want?" Team Rocket opened their mouths, but Ash interupted them. "Oh, wait. I know: 'Hand over the Pokemon, or else'? Right? Right? Am I right?" "Smart @$$!" James muttered. Ash stuck his toung out. Jessie smirked dangerously, and pulled what looked like a water canon out from behind he back. "I wouldn't talk so big, little boy. You just might get me mad." "Big Whoopty-Doo!" "Alright, then!!! You asked for it!!! Try this on for size!!!" Jessie pulled the trigger, and sprayed Ash with the contents of the gun. "Hey! What the-!" Ash cried, as an acrid smell invaded his nostrils."Mmhh!" Ash felt woozy, as what-ever it was worked like a slow anesthetic, numbing his mind and body, as his vision went black. Brock saw what had happened, and he saw red. He released 3 of his Pokemon. "Vulpix! Fire Spin Attack! Now!" "Vulllllllllllll!" Team Rocket screamed as the tornado of fire came closer. When they emerged, they were singed head to foot. Jessie's hair was all poodley, and James was trying to put out his burning clothes, while Meowth was running around screaming: "Put Me Out! Put Me Out! Hot Cat! Hot Cat! Put Me Out!" "Geodude, Tackle! Zubat, Super Sonic!" Team Rocket couldn't take anymore. "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" they yelled as they ran out of the Pokemon Centre. "That's what you get for attacking my friends!" Brock yelled after them. He coughed and realized that the room was still smokey, and he could smell what ever it was that had knocked 'Matt' out. "Zubat, blow the smoke away!" After the air was clear, Brock knelt by Ash's side, and felt his pulse. *Normal! Almost like he's-* "Sleeping!" Brock exclaimed."Whoah! He's just asleep! Deep sleep, at that." He gently shook his friend. "Hey...Matt. Wakey-wakey!" "Unnnhhh..."Ash muttered, and slowley opened his eyes."Ohhh...Stop the Ryhorns!" "What Ryhorns, Matt?" "The one's dancing on my head." "I'll get you an asprin, Okay?" "Yeah, thanks Brock." When Brock left to get the asprin, Ash slapped himself. "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" Ash hissed under his breath, hitting his forehead with each repetition."I'm going to have to tell him who I am, and soon!" Brock returned with two asprin and a glass of water. "There you go, Matt. Now, tell me how you knew who they were?" Ash nearly choked on the water. "I, uh, they um attacked my family a lot, looking for rare and valuable Pokemon, a few years back." Ash said, looking away, his cheeks burning."Oh, and besides! Everybody knows who Team Rocket is!" *Dummy!* Ash's cheeks burned brighter than a Moltres's flame. Brock didn't notice. "Oh? Right! They were always bugging my friend, Ash Ketchum, for his Pikachu. They always had bad timing, and never got any Pokemon." "Tell me something I don't know." "How about: 'I know what you and Ashly were doing in the garden last night.' Is that new?" Ash coloured up, from head to toe, a nice crimson shade. The next day... Pikachu looked up from his pillow, in his kennel. He had thought he had heard a noise. Then he looked around. Prof.Oak had put him inside this kennel because he hated the pokeball. Every day for the four years since Ash had had his lisence rebuked, Pikachu had barely left the kennel. All of Ash's other Pokemon hadn't forgotten Ash, with the exception of maybe Charizard. There! He heard it again! It was that rat, Gary Oak! Pikachu crouched down and growled. Gary noticed. "Oh, shut-up, you stupid yellow powder puff!" Gary snarled, as he kicked the kennel."You're coming with me!" "Pika!" Pikachu screamed, as Gary shoved him in a bag, obviously made of rubber. He tried to shock it, then bite it, then he started to howl for Prof. Oak. "Shut-Up!" Gary hissed, punching the bag. "Huh?" Ash asked, looking around. "What's the matter, Matt?" Brock asked. "I thought, for a minute, that one of my friends is in trouble. Oh, pretty crazed, huh?" "No, I call that good empathy, Matt." Ash started apprehensively. It was good for him that Brock could be a little dense at some times. "Hey, don't you and Ashly have vacation coming up soon?" Brock suddenly asked, surprising Ash. "Uh, yeah. In three days. Why, Brock?" "Just wondering..." "Oh! You want to have Nurse Joy all to yourself, don't you?" It was Brocks turn to blush. He was practicly glowing. "Here's your payment!"Gary said, thrusting the bag at his business partners. "Nowlive up to your end of the deal!" "With pleasure!" a familiar voice replyed, and whoever it was tossed a Pokeball and a wad of cash at Gary. "I never thought I'd live to the day I'd make a deal with you guys." He remarked. The person chuckled, and another answered. "Oh, we may be bad guys, but Team Rocket is always prepared to cut deals!" "Thanks for watching my Acanine for me!" "Always a pleasure!" "Enjoy your new Pikachu!" "Our boss will be pleased! Thank you, Gary. We knew we could count on you." Ash froze slightly. *PIKACHU!!!* his brain screamed franticly, building panic in his mind, but he shook the feeling from his brain. Ash and Ash were getting ready to leave on their vacation. The question was: Where to go? "Celadon City sounds good!" Ash suggested, holding up a travel broshoure. "Why not Saffron City?" Ashly argued, waving a flyer at Ash."Besides, you hate perfume!" "I just as soon as go bungee diving, in a real volcano, with out a cord!" Ash said, wrinkling up his nose. "Why not Tangello Island? It's right here in the Arcapellaco!" Then it came to them at the same time. "Let's go to Viridian City!" They chorused together happily, dansing around the room full of joy and happiness. Brock stuck his head into the room. "Hey!" He yelled,"Keep it down!" "Hay is for horses!"Ashly retorted. "Hah hah.Very funny." Brock muttered, causually leaning in the doorway. "Soooo...have you chosen were to go for your vacation?" "Yep. Viridian City." "Wow! Team Rocket central!" "Oh, shut up!" Ash seethed through clenched teeth, tossing a stack of broshoures at Brock's head, which hit their mark: in between his eyes. *How dare he! If he reminds me of those...those...I'll-!* Ashly pulled Brock out into the hall, and went back into the room, closing the door with her hip. As Ash looked up at the Viridian city gym, and the Pokemon centre, it made him feel nostalgic. Ashly looked at Ash whistfully, and squeezed his hand reasuringly. "Don't worry, Wild Fire. You don't have to worry about Team Bozo anymore." "Thanks, Ashly." Ash said greatfuly,"I'm really glad we came here." "Mmm-hmm." After checking into their hotel, Ash and Ashly bumped into a very familiar couple and their Pokemon, literally, knocking them to the pavement. "Owch! James! Help me up, you nincompoop!" "It wasn't my fault!" "Botha yas! Shadup!" "Ahhgg!" Ash and Ashly yelled."It's Team Tocket!" "Huh? Oh, it's just the kid we attacked, back on Velensia Island. And the twirp's friend!" Jessie sniggered,"Let me tell you something, girly. We have the twirps Pikachu, and there's nothing your elusive friend can do about it! Hah-Hah-Hah!" "Oh, Yeah?!" Ash and Ashly yelled at the same time, pulling out 2 pokeballs. "Go,Chansey!" "Chansey-Chansey!" "Chansey, Double slap!" Ash hissed, seething with fury. "Chansey, use Pound!" Ashly said, a little more calmly. "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Ash dropped to his knees, before returning his Chansey to it's pokeball. "They have Pikachu..." He whispered in defeat, as Ashley pulled him to his feet. "Ash, this is no time to get all upset. We have three choices: Sit on the pavement and bawl like a baby, Nuclear warfare, OR sneek in and get Pikachu back. What's your choice?" "Oooh! Nuclear warefare does sound very tempting, but I'd prefer to just sneek in, and get Pikachu back. But how are we going to do that?" "Well, Duh! Duplica can help us! I have a drivers liscence, so let's rent a car to get to her place!" "Whoah! Good idea!" Ashly polished her nails on her 'Poke-rama' T-shirt, and grinned. "We-ell, ave course, Hunny-suckle," Ashly drawled in her impression of a southern accent,"All my idee-ahs ahre good!" Ash cracked up, which is what Ashly had wanted. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" Ash whined, just to annoy Asly. They were jusy entering Sunny Town. "No, No! No! No!" Ashly steamed, trying to keep her temper under control. "Hello? May I help you?" Duplica asked, opening the door of the 'House of imitae'. "Oh, Duplica! Don't tell me you don't recognise us...I mean, me." Ashly said, slipping up, blushing. "Ashly? Is that really you?" Duplica asked, pulling the two inside. "Oh, yeah. It's me alright. And this is my friend, Matt-" That was as far as she got before Ash cut her off. "No. Tell her the truth!" Ash commanded. "Are you sure?" "Yeah. This is important." "Alright. Before I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone. Deal?" "Okay, Deal." "Alight. He's Ash." "What?! Ash? Ash Ketchum? The run-away Ash? Omigod! Where have you been?! Everybody's been looking for you! They-" "Enough!!!" Ash thundered, silencing Duplica."We came here because we need your help! We you give it to us?" "Yeah! Sure! You bet! Anything for an old friend!" Then Duplica's voice lost its perkyness as curiousity set in."What do you need?" "Some Team Rocket uniforms. And maybe an accomplice." "Huh? Why?" "Team Rocket has Pikachu! And we're going to sneek into their head quarters, and get him back. Will you help us?" "Well...I don't know..." "Puh-lease?" Ash pleaded, using his best, cutest puppy-dog face. Duplica's heart melted like ice cream in the sun. "Okay! Like I said, Anything for an old friend! Besides, I know that if it were Ditto, you'd help me!" "Right-o." Ash couldn't help but stare at Ashly's figure in the tight uniform, and the skirt...! *Yeow-sah!* he thought, admiring Ashly.*Pretty!* "Alright, let's go! We can formulate a plan when we get back to Viridian." "Oh! Oh! Oh! Can I drive? Please? Pretty please?" Duplica pleaded, jumping up and down like a little girl. "Well, okay. But be careful! It's a rental!" "OOH! And a good rental, too!" Duplica gushed."A Corvette!" Ash and Ashly shared a long, pained look that said 'This is not going to be pretty!' They were right. Duplica drove like a maniac on the back roads, and in towns, she was civil, yet fast. Ash and Ashly clung to each other in the back seat, wailing at the top of their lungs. "There!"Duplica cheered. They had arived in Viridian City, in half the time. "We're here!" She turned around, and found Ash and Ashly pasted to the back seat, white as sheets. "What's gotten into you two?"
