Part 2, here you go, I hope you like it.

*****

Location and setting: In the Cerulean Gym kitchen. Last night they were able to go to bed at about 3 in the morning. Going to sleep about that time causes a person to sleep the day away. At the time they woke up, it was already 12:15 in the afternoon. Everyone is in the kitchen, except for Ash who had less sleep than anyone else due to his traveling there and staying up that long.

Deliah was her happy, lively self. She took to the spatula and flipped the pancake on the skillet. May, Max, Tracey, Brock, Violet, Lily, Daisy and Misty were drooling from the aroma that the pancake gave.

"How can you guys be hungry, looking at all the plates and chip bags that all of you ate last night, you'd think that you would all be full," asked Dorien.

"That wasn't that much food," answered Max, "you should see how much May eats during Christmas gatherings."

May, feeling betrayed had struck her little brother in the back of the head. "I don't eat that much, you little twerp!" May both angrily and embarrassingly yelled causing everyone to laugh.

"You guys are the comical bunch?" Asked Dorien.

“We’ve all been good friends for a long time and we have a kind of bind to us,” explained Brock, “you’ll have to try hard to get to know us all better.”

"I'll try my best to fit in,” Dorien passively nodded in agreement.

"Come on Brock, Dorien will fit in fine." Misty protested. "He’s really lovable."

"Like, you sure did bring home a colorful group of friends, Misty." Pointed out Violet.

"And it's all because of Ash," Max added.

"Yeah, I guess Ash did have a hand in bringing us all together," Misty acknowledge, "even though he himself is never here during such events."

Deliah came over to the table and began distributing the pancakes. As soon as the pancakes hit the plate, fights began to erupt on who gets the first shot of the syrup.

"Okay, okay that's enough grabbing. I think the lady of honor should get the first dose of syrup." Deliah suggested.

"Okay," Max said putting the bottle of syrup down and sliding it over to Misty.

Suddenly, Deliah's hand had intercepted the bottle before it even got close to where Misty's hand was. "Yes, exactly. The lady of honor." Deliah said with a smile.

Soon a storm of laughter started among the people of the table. Dorien who had a stroked look in his face couldn't comprehend what these people were doing.

Suddenly, a yell came from where Ash was sleeping. All of them got off their seats and ran to see what the commotion was. "What can make Ash yell like that?" Asked Deliah. "I raised him better than that."

When they had reached where Ash was, the only thing in the room was a flabby, lether-like, dark-blue wall that covered the door to the room. On the other side of the flabby wall was Ash trying to reason with someone. "I'm sorry I didn't take you out of your pokeball, but I was tired and forgot," Ash's voice hardly coming through the flabby, dark-blue wall.

Tracey looked at the wall and immediately knew what it was. "Don't worry everybody, it's just a pokemon," Tracey assured everyone.

"Just a pokemon?" asked Misty. Then she suddenly remembered from her travels with Ash. "There's only one pokemon that can be this big and flabby. It's Snorlax!" Misty yelled.

"Bingo, that's right Misty," Tracey confirmed.

"Ash, is Snorlax trying to eat you again?" Brock asked.

"Snorlax would never do such a thing like that." Ash said still hardly being able to be heard through Snorlax's enormous flab. "Well, at least I don't think that he's going to eat me."

"Ash, why don't you just give him something to eat?!" Asked and ordered May.

"I would, but I don't have any food here, besides, I don't think that a bag of chips and a burger would fill Snorlax up."

"Don't worry, Snorlax don't like eating meat. They prefer fruit," Tracey trying to reassure everyone that Ash would be alright.

"Ash, just put Snorlax back in his pokeball,” advised Misty.

"I can't, Snorlax was so hungry he broke the pokeball when he made his way out,” answered Ash.

"What do we do, Tracey?" asked Misty frantically.

"First, we calm Snorlax down, then we try to get him out of the room," Tracey thinking hard of a plan to get Snorlax out.

"Only Ash would get himself in this kind of trouble," May stated.

"Haha," Ash laughed sarcastically. "I can hear you guys you know."

"The question is how do we get Snorlax to calm down?" Brock asked.

"I know," Deliah offered. "When Ash was just a baby, every time he was cranky I used to rub his belly to comfort him."

"Are you saying that I have to get close enough to rub Snorlax's belly?" Ash asked.

"Of course not, we have to do it," answered Deliah, "We can rub its back instead of his belly."

"That's a great idea, Mrs. Ketchum," Tracey complemented.

"That just might work," Brock added.

May, Misty and Deliah had gotten in front of everyone and started rubbing Snorlax's back. Soothingly, firmly, and heavenly the three massaged and rubbed. It had worked. From inside, Ash had seen Snorlax's rage cool down to a gentle smile. Ash then came to Snorlax and gave it a hug. "I'm sorry Snorlax, I didn't mean to forget about you. I promise, when I get out, I will feed you as much as your heart desires."

When Ash was able to get out, somehow, he was led by Daisy to the kitchen. Snorlax had taken about almost and hour to clean out the whole refrigerator.

Location and Setting: In Misty's room. Inside is Misty, the Sensational Sisters, and May. Inside, Misty and the other are trying to get her wedding dress ready.

"Owww!" Yelled Misty after getting her hair pulled by Lily. "Watch what you're doing, I'm going to be bald if you aren't careful!”

"Like, sorry little sister, but you need to stop moving!" Lily fired back at Misty.

"Well, we've got something new, the wedding dress. Something old, the cascade badge. Something borrowed, Mrs. Ketchum's bracelet. Now, for something blue. What's blue that gives some kind of meaning?" Violet asked.

"Like, the badge is blue," Daisy pointed out.

"No, that's like cheating," May disagreed.

"Yeah, that's just like cheating, I need something for all the categories," Misty agreed.

"Let's just brain storm," May suggested.

They had brained storm for some times when someone had knocked on the door.

"Who is it? Dorien, if it's you, we're going to kick your butt if you try to see Misty in her wedding dress," May threatened.

"Calm down, it's just me, Ash," Ash answered the girls.

"What would Ash be doing here? He hates it when anything about girly stuff is involved," Misty wondered.

"Yeah, Ash, you hated it when we had forced you to go shopping with us. Are you sure that Dorien isn't behind you and ready to jump out at the chance to see Misty," ask May sounding a lot more than skeptical.

"I just need to talk to Misty for a little while," Ash gently asked.

"Oh, okay, just let him in," Misty okayed.

"Actually, I needed to talk to you alone, it's kind of important," Ash was kind of reluctant to say.

"Ash, what's so important you can't share with us?" asked May.

"Well, it's because it's a meeting of old friends. You can kind of say," Ash answered.

"Okay, I'm coming out. Just let me get out of this wedding dress.”

"Like, no you're not, Misty," Daisy commanded.

"Why not?" Misty asked.

"We aren't done. Besides, you're not marrying Ash. He can see you some other time," Daisy answered giving her a stern look to get rid of Ash.

"It’ll only be for a while. I’ll come back as soon as we’re done talking,” assured Misty.

The rest of the girls looked at each other in a look of disappointed accusation. What's so important that Ash didn't want us to know, they all thought.

"Like is it just me, or is this not a good idea to leave Ash alone with Misty?" asked Lily hinting.

"What are you saying, Lily. You know that Ash wouldn't do that to anyone. He's not like that," defended May.

"Like, I'm just saying, that they have a long history with each other and the past might come back to haunt them," Lily argued.

"I think that May is right. Ash isn't really they type to do something bad as that. He just doesn't seem the person," stated Violet.

"Yeah, Ash just isn't that way. He's not that way at all," May added.

"I'm sorry to say, but I agree with Lily. You never know with old friends like them," Daisy put in her two cents.

"I'm telling you, Ash isn't like that," May forcefully argued her side and of Ash’s.

"Well, maybe, but it also isn't like Ash to forget about all his friends for five years," Daisy letting them know her reason for being so suspicious.

"I never thought of that," May admitted, "but that still doesn't give any sort of characteristics Ash may have."

Daisy shook in head still against the idea. "I'm just saying that we should keep a close eye on Ash.”

****

Location: Just outside of Misty's room where her sisters and May were waiting for her.

"What is so important Ash?" Misty asked.

"Can we go to somewhere more spacious than the hallway?" Ash stammeringly asked.

"Okay, let's go to the arena," Misty answered.

They went down the stairs and followed the aquarium hallways to the arena where they first battled each other.

They finally got to the arena. There was still a mess around the whole stadium. The bleachers had been pulled done by Lily earlier on in the day. It was on of Lily’s chores and hadn’t noticed that she had even done so. It was more like second nature for her to do so, having done the same thing for the last five years, now.

"Now, what was so important that you didn't want my sisters to know?" Misty asked him again.

"It's not so secretive that I didn't want to tell the others. It's just that this is something special that only you should see first."

Misty started to feel a little uncomfortable, but then she realized that it was Ash talking to her. She realized that Ash was talking to her. Anyone else would be a kind of threat, but Ash would never make her feel anything but a kind of happiness.

"What is it Ash?" Misty asked calmly and excitedly both at the same time.

"I have something, no, someone to give you. I think you should see what your... kind of investment have grown into." Ash now sounded a little more vague. This actually made Misty more excited.

"You aren't going to put something in my hair or have a bug pokemon behind you, because if you do, I'm going to kill you," threatened Misty jokingly.

"Misty, please just do it. I'd never do anything like that. Just trust me." Misty thought Ash was being sincere, so she did as he asked. When Misty heard him say trust, she immediately closed her eyes. She knew that she could always trust Ash.

Ash knowing that Misty's eyes were closed tightly, Ash pulled out a pokeball from his belt. "Are you ready?" Ash asked to entice her curiosity.

"Ash, just do what your going to do. I trust you." Misty gave Ash a sly smirk and that made Ash smile a little. It was time to say goodbye.

Misty was tingling with excitement. Soon she would burst out if she didn't get what Ash was holding out on. Suddenly, Misty felt a warmness. Arms had wrap around her waist and was feeling comforted. "Ash," she quietly whimpered. A tear slowly slid on her soft, milky skin and landed on the pool to her side, gently causing a ripple effect on the water. She felt the loving arms around her waist and felt as she did before when she had let him go. "I miss you, too. I can't believe it. Thank you, Ash." Misty now filled with eternal great-fullness. She wrapped her hand around as like his was. She kissed him and cried some more.

Ash looked at her and the blue pokemon holding on to Misty. Ash couldn't help shed a tear himself. This is what it must of looked like when Ash and Misty had hugged for the first time in five years last night. Ash wiped out the tear off his face and smiled. "I knew Golduck would make you happy, Misty."

"Mama, finally got herself a Golduck!" Misty excitedly yelled and twirled Golduck around as if to dance with him.

"Golduck, duck," Golduck said with giant smile on his face.

"Ash, thank you." Misty said and got to her tippy-toes to give Ash a kiss in the cheeks.

Ash blushed and scratch the back of his head. "Golduck evolved fought, battled harder than he ever battled when I told him that we were visiting you. He wanted to prove to you that he loves you."

"Did you really do that just for me, Golduck?" Misty asked.

"Gold, gold." Golduck answered with a smile and a thumbs up.

"I'll take that as a yes," Misty said.

"You should show how strong you are now, Golduck." Ash suggest.

"Golduck," said Golduck as if to say okay.

Golduck concentrated on the middle of the arena where the pool was now open. Suddenly, the pool was then shaking and water rose from the depths. The water grouped and kept forming. It then started to form a head, arms, body and a fin. It was a water sculptor of Misty as a mermaid.

"Oooh." Misty said in astonishment. "That is so beautiful, Golduck."

"Someone thinks a lot of herself," Ash said jokingly.

"If I weren't this happy right now, Ash, I would smack you in the middle of the head," Misty said giving Ash a kind of smile.

Ash knew that she wasn't joking, but Misty knew that Ash was. They looked at each other and gave each other a smile. Ash looked at Misty with her white dress on and noticed she was not pretty, but beautiful. She wasn't the same girl. She was now a woman. A friend. A good, good friend.

"Let's go back and tell my sisters," Misty suggested. "They are going to be so jealous at Golduck. This is going to be great." It was obvious that her best gifts were the ones that made Misty's sisters jealous.

****

Location: Just outside of Misty's room. Ash and Misty are about to go and turn the door to surprise everyone with Misty's powerful somewhat new pokemon.

"Hey!" Yelled Misty to her sisters and May. "I found something blue I could use for the wedding." Misty said swaying Golduck into the room so the others would be able to see him.

"Misty, like, you can't have a pokemon for an accessory," Daisy exclaimed.

"Who said I can't?" Said Misty bull-headedly.

"It's not really traditional to do so, Misty." May stepped in the conversation.

"Well, it's my wedding and I can wear anything I want." Said Misty with an attitude.

"Forget trying to change her mind." Ash said. "She's too hard headed once she made up her mind."

"You should be one to talk, Ash." Said Misty giving Ash the cold stares she used to give Ash.

Ash remembered the stares Misty gave him when they were still young and backed up. He knew what do happen if he try to tease her anymore than usual. Suddenly, her cold stare turned into a smile. Ash knew that it might change again and decided he should go. "I'd like to play dress-up with Misty, but I have to go, later."

Misty seemed a little disappointed when Ash said he was going away. She gave him another thank you and wave him good-bye. What Misty didn't know was the her sisters and May were tentatively looking at her and were a little worried.

Daisy had something to say to Ash and then followed. "I have to tell Ash something. I'll be back in a minute."

Daisy caught up with Ash in the guestroom he had stayed in. Ash was acting urgent and looked like he was worried about something.

"Ash, what are you doing? Calm down. It looks like you're going to run away from the cops or something." Daisy said a little concerned at Ash's anxiety. She had noticed the backpack that she had first saw Ash carrying the night before. "Like, why are you packing up your things?" Daisy asked.

"Oh, I'm just going back to Pallet." Ash said trying to act calm, but a drop of sweat from his forehead betrayed him.

"You're going to Pallet? Are you going to comeback before the wedding?" Daisy asked already knowing what the answer is.

"To tell the truth... I'm... actually going straight to... Orre after I get to see the pokemon." Ash was worried and stammered the whole time he was answering her. "You saw how happy Misty was to see her Golduck. I don't think she would let me take Golduck back on my journey."

"Ash..." Said Daisy not knowing what to say. Then suddenly she had snapped out of her furious anger to ask Ash why. "Like, you came all this way. Why not just wait another two days before you go back to your silly journey."

"It's not a silly journey!" Ash angrily protested. "Misty knows how important this 'silly' journey means to me."

"Yeah, but she also thinks you think of her as that important. How can you just leave like that?" Asked Daisy angrily and lecturing. "I feel pity for you Ash. I had thought that you were a nice guy. Now I see that you're just the kind of person to run away when thingsaren't your way."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Ash quietly and calmly said.

"Misty told us that you were slow, but I didn't think that you were this slow, Ash. "Daisy screamed. "Ash whether you know it or not, you just can't go for that reason."

"I'm not going for any other reason except to be the best trainer!" Ash yelled back.

"Ash, you know deep down inside why you want to run away from this. Just like you traveled hundreds of miles just to come here." Daisy yelled at him again.

"I'm not running away. I told you I'm doing this for no other reason but to be the best trainer." Ash angrily protested.

"Ash, you came all that way to spend a night and then just go. You can't think you're fooling anyone. And what's worst is that you're not even going to say goodbye."

"Everyone would just get emotional if I told them. You know that my mother wouldn't understand why I would leave." Ash tried to explain his views on not telling.

"Ash, let me tell you something. If you leave, everyone would know why you would." Said Daisy. "I know why you're leaving even if you yourself don't know why."

"I have to go Daisy. Tell everyone I said goodbye." Ash said full-hearted.

"No, I'm not going to tell them that you said goodbye. I'm going to say that you were selfish and couldn't take the consequences of your own actions.  Because, believe it or not, this is your own fault, Ash."  Daisy having intentions on both trying to get Ash to stay and to give him a hint at what he did.

Ash was about to turn the knob on the door, but suddenly stopped and walked back to the bed. "What do you mean that this is my own fault?" Ash asked.

"She had talked about your great adventures together. She always talked about the stupid, bull-headed things you did when a pokemon needed help for Team Rocket." Daisy, again giving clues. "She thought of you a lot. She sometimes still talk about her fun times hanging around you and Brock."

"I guess sometimes I don't think about my actions," Ash admitted.

"That was all she talked about the first year she had come home. Then, she was worried. She was also angry that you didn't contact her. You didn't contact anyone. She was a wreck. Everyone was a wreck. It wasn't until Prof. Oak gave Misty a call saying that you were alright and that you were trying to reach Orre. Misty was ecstatic to hear something about you. She thought that you were dead before Prof. Oak had said anything. When she

heard about you, all the anger she had for your disappearance had lifted and was filled with joy. Misty asked Prof. Oak if there was a way to contact you, but he said that you were moving too fast and couldn't be caught up with. This made Misty sulk for days."

"What are you trying to say, Daisy?" Ash asked.

Daisy ignored Ash's question and went on. "After a while she had finally stopped sulking and didn't talk about you as much as she did the first years she was back. Thinking of you out there all by yourself just caused her a lot of pain and made her worry a lot more. I had caught her once talking to a picture of you and her. She said that you were a jerk for not asking her to come on your journey. Three years later after that day I saw her talking to the picture, she had finally forgotten about you and started to go out. We took her to Doriens birthday and the rest was history. They had gotten close and fell in love. She found someone else, but from time to time she would look at that picture of you and her and just get caught in the memories. You want me to tell you what I'm trying to say. I'm trying to say that it was your own fault that you were not sitting up there on the table last night. It was your ambition that made her run to another person. It's your own fault that she's in his arms and not yours. I'm not being to clear am I Ash." Daisy mocking Ash. "In other words, she's not in love with you anymore because of you. And you can't take that so now you have to run away. Go ahead Ash. Just run away. Do what you do best."

"I won't pretend that I that I don't regret not being here for everyone, but I still stand with the choices I've me made." Ash said after a short while of pondering Daisy's audacity to say what everyone was thinking.

"What choices have you made, Ash?" Asked Daisy baggering Ash. "What good has your choices really done for you? Would it kill you to have invited Misty or Brock on you journey?"

Ash thought about the choices he made and how horrible it had turned out for him. He was too dumbfounded to even for a sentence, but he also knew that his dream from the start. Before he had met Brock. Before he had met May and Max. Before he had met Tracey. Even before he had met Misty and Pikachu, he had wanted to be the best. He had wanted to be the best trainer in the world and would do anything to gasp that dream. "I...I... have to go now." Ash quietly turned his back and headed for the door.

Daisy sat in the bottom bunk-bed and covered her face in frustration. "What a jerk, he wouldn't even say goodbye to the others."

A knocking banged the sides of the door to the room. "You're right. I'm being a jerk. I won't go without saying bye." He put his backpack on the bed and unzipped it. He turned it over and all the items inside had fallen besides Daisy.

Daisy gave Ash a sympathetic smile and stood up to give him a hug.

****

Location: A few hours later after Ash had decided not to leave. The preparations for the day was done and Brock and Ash were discussing how great Crobat became in the competitions that Ash had entered. May just enters the room with Tracey after scrubbing the floors. Both May and Tracey are a bit steamed for being left to do the grunt work while Ash and Brock stay in the room and reminisce.

"Ash! Brock!" Yelled May in outrage for the mistreatment. "We were down there while you to chat-it-out. Where’s the fairness in that?”

Suddenly before Ash could utter a word, Daisy stepped in and called for Ash.

Ash ran to the door and stuck out his head just before Daisy could yelp his name once more.

“Hey Ash, I was wondering if you wanna go to the grocery with me? Our little mermaid princess has a few things she wants me to pick up.” Daisy looked as if she had more than just picking up parcels in mind.

“You mean just you and me?” questioned Ash a little baffled at the same time knew what the conversation would be about. Ash had not really acknowledge those feelings about what Daisy said about Misty, but ever since the thought had been bothering him.

“Yes, just you and me,” Daisy repeated. “I just want to spend some time with you. You know, all the years I’ve known you, I haven’t really known you. You know what I mean?”

Ash wasn’t the brightest bulb in the socket, but he knew that wasn’t the full story to her proposal.

Knowing that he had really no reason to say no and also didn’t want to face May’s fury he accepted. The rest was shocked that Daisy had asked Ash out.

“Scandalous,” stated Brock with a smart-alecky tone in his voice.

May was sort of distorted by this and snickered as she walked out of the room.

Tracey looked at her puzzled as she walked away. After a second it hit him and repeated Brock’s conclusion, “scandelist.”

****

Location: Despite Ash’s reluctance of joining Daisy on her so-called errand he did so anyways. Both Ash and Daisy are in her convertible driving with a good speed that seemed to be a little more faster than what the driving limit had suggested. Daisy has her driving glasses on and Ash couldn’t help thinking how much she looked like one of those bad-girls in the movies who always rob banks.

“Are you cold?” Daisy asked as she took a quick look at Ash as she made a curve to the right.

“No,” answered Ash not really wanting to be a bother as she was preoccupied with her driving and if he did he was afraid that she might just forget the speed limit seeing that the arrow had pass over sixty in a thirty-five limit.

“Like, it looks like your shivering.”

Seeing that he wasn’t going to fool her he nodded at the idea of closing the top.

It was five minutes later when Ash had realized that they were taking to long just to get to the grocery store when it was only a couple of mile away. Also, he didn’t think that there would be so much forests around the downtown store.

“Daisy,” Ash began, “I don’t think that this is the route to the grocery store.”

“Oh, like, you’re right.” Her surprise wasn’t as genuine as Ash would think one would be when a mistake like that have been made. “Sit tight, Ash. We’re almost there.”

But to where? Ash asked himself quietly enough so Daisy wouldn’t hear.

It was a couple more minutes after an unbearable silence had enveloped Ash’s thoughts when finally the car started to slow and turned to a parking lot. It was more than queer for them to go this far, more queer that it was only woods in all directions of the parking lot.

“I hope you don’t mind me asking, but where is the grocery store?” Ash asked dumbfounded.

“Like, Ash, we’re not here to buy groceries,” Daisy began to explain, “we’re here just to talk. That and get away from that horrid Misty. Like, don’t get me wrong, I love my lil’ sis’, but sometimes she can be a real pain.”

Ash couldn’t help but laugh a little knowing how true Daisy’s synopsis can be.

“Is that all we’re here to do? Just talk and get away from Misty?”

“Well, after we have a talk, I guess we can find something else fun to do. Do you have anything in mind?”

Ash blushed and avoided the topic by asking what there was to talk about.

“I just want to apologize for the other day. I have no right talking to you the way I did. I hope you can forgive me?”

What could Ash say? He knew that what she did was not only for Misty’s sake, but also for Ash’s. If he did run away, he’d be adding to the stupidity that he had been conjuring for the last four years. “No, don’t think about it. To be honest, I think you stopped me from doing such a stupid thing. You just did what you thought was right.”

“Well, like, was I right?” She was candid about what she meant and hoped that Ash knew what she was talking about. Hearing from Misty of how Ash wasn’t always too bright, Daisy expected for Ash not to get it.

To Daisy’s surprise, Ash did understand the question.

“At first,” Ash started, “I just felt that I was losing something. What was it that upset me so much about her getting married. It wasn’t til yesterday that I had actually thought about it that way.”

Daisy tried to jump in the conversation, but Ash just kept on talking and she decided it better to listen to his confessions. She felt like she was lifting a boulder off Ash’s back.

“It wasn’t ever a question of whether or not I loved her. I always loved her. She was there for me and she never left my side in anything so serious. There have been times when we thought the worst will happen, but somehow, we’ve made it out. She stayed with me and for that, I love her. That was also what I felt for Brock, Tracey, May and Max. There was no other feelings that I had for Misty but gratitude. Why would there be, I was just a young boy. Then I started to grow up. I became fourteen and my love for her increased the same as for Brock and the others. Daisy, up til yesterday, I thought Misty of a older sister. It wasn’t until you mentioned love, not between friends, but between a Man and a Woman. Now, I’m at a crossroads with myself. Should I declare love for Misty as a Man would love a Woman. If I did, the feeling would just be that in a few days. Just a feeling in just a couple of days. So, if you ask whether I love Misty as a man loves a woman, I’m force to say ‘No’ to the idea. You know what I mean, do you, Daisy.

Ash looked at Daisy. She had tears dripping down her cheeks. Ash hadn’t notice it had began when she had first said Misty’s name in his confession. What she must be thinking about Ash to make her cry. If Daisy was anything like Misty, then she must have thought it was some kind of soup opera that she had just witnessed.

“Daisy, don’t cry for me.” Ash comforted. “Like you said it yourself, it was my fault and no one else. Now, I just have to deal with it.”

“Ash,” she began, “I’m so sorry that I brought this up.” She walked to him and gave him a hug comforting him and herself.

Daisy had seen many of this kind of situation in her TV programs, but now that she had experienced it in real life, she finally knew what all those characters had felt like. She didn’t want romance like this. It was better watching on the TV than it happening to one of her friends. What was worse was that she started to root for Ash in this. She was a friend to Dorien, but she couldn’t help but feel for Ash.

“I’m so sorry,” she continued to hug and cry at the same time.

Ash had felt better. He had confessed his mistakes and in a way confessed his feelings. Though really he never said it.

Ash was a lot taller than Daisy, about half a foot taller and she notice that. She pulled away. Her eyes were red and puffy. Ash gave her a little smile to lighten the mood. She too gave him a smile. They both smiled and she gave Ash a kiss on his chin, only too close to his lips.

****

Location: As the time had passed, the two had walked around the forests and came to a cliff that overlooked Cerulean City. Mundane conversation had continued between the two about anything that came to mind. Though Ash had finally relaxed and no longer saw Daisy as a threat and more of a confidant. Both laughed and had the greatest time as they enjoyed each other’s company.

Daisy stopped laughing at the recent story Ash had told her about his adventure in Orre that involved him wearing something quite revealing for a girl who owned a bar so he could get directions to the next league.

“So,” Daisy snickered, “is it really that hectic in the Orre Region?”

“Well, most of the time there seems to be a lot of crime. It’s a region where Team Rocket members might call home. Of course there are other organizations there that act like Team Rocket. But, just like anything else, the Orre Region has it’s own beauty. You should have seen this place I went to. It was a home for pass great pokemon trainers. All had great advise for my journey.”

“I’ve heard that it’s awfully dangerous there. I didn’t think there would be a place like that.”

“The place wasn’t just a great home for great pokemon trainers. The place itself can hold out on it’s own when it came to beauty. It resides by this waterfall. The houses around there are magnified in beauty as the water sparkle in the bottom of the fall. The sun reflecting off the crystal clear water, and don’t get me started on how fresh it tasted. And how beautiful she was...”

As was trailing off to his own world and left Daisy behind to wonder who she was that Ash had mentioned.

“Who is she?”  Daisy asked breaking Ash’s train of thought.

“Oh, there was a grand-daughter of one of the great pokemon trainers. She was beautiful. She had taken me sight-seeing and gave me the best sites of the place. There is also this legend of the pokemon of time. It was a pokemon who had the very power to slip from time to time. It was said that the only ones who were able to see it are those with pure hearts. But I didn’t see it. Oh well.”

They sat there talking and enjoying each other’s company. Daisy had also talked about her recent travels while her sisters stayed home and take care of the gym. Lily had taken charge as head leader and Violet and Misty as her sidekicks. Daisy joked about how happy Misty and Violet were when she finally came back..

“I guess that Misty isn’t the feistiest between you four after all,” Ash joked.

“Like, no, were all equally feisty. You just had the bad luck to meet Misty first. It would have been better if you met me first.”

Immediately afterwards, Daisy was red. Ash looked at her and could see that she blushing as bright as a tomato.

“Are you blushing?”

“No, just a little embarrassed that I said that. Like, what I am I saying. That’s the same thing.”

“Actually, yeah, that is the same thing.”

They both laughed not really knowing why they were. It was just the pure delight of each other’s company that they had amused themselves with.

Ash felt cold and just noticed that Daisy had a Sleeveless dress on and it was getting cold. “I should of brought a jacket so I could give it to you.”

Daisy blushed, “oh, like, don’t worry about it. I don’t mind the cold much. When you swim as much as I do, wind like this isn’t even half the feeling you get when you take a dip at 12 in the morning.”

“Yeah, but I can’t help think that you might need something warm nonetheless.”

Ash thought of putting his arms around her as a friend would for another but was hesitant. He was about to when.

“I think we should go back now. Misty is probably screaming her red-head off.”

“Yeah, and I’m a little hungry.”

Daisy laughed, “Okay Ash. Let’s go.”

Ash picked her off the grassy cliff. When Daisy took the lead back to the car Ash noticed grass stain on her butt and laughed.

Daisy looked back and caught Ash laughing. “What?” Daisy demanded. “What are you starring at?”

“Nothing,” Ash answered, “it’s just that your dress is stained in the butt section.”

“Ash!!” Daisy objected. “Don’t look at my butt.”

“Sorry,” was all Ash could say.

Location and setting: In the car, both Ash and Daisy are on their way back to the gym. Both still having fun, enjoying each other’s company.

“Hey,” Ash just realized, “what is everyone going to think when we get back without any grocery?”

“What ever they’ll think, I don’t think that they’re going to believe that we’ve been in the grocery for this long.”

Daisy was right. Any excuse they’d come up with would be second-guessed. Then Ash thought about what his mother would think. Ash could image what thoughts would form in his mother’s head. Is she going to think he and Daisy went out for a make-out session? Oh, no, what is he going to do.

Ash was starting to panic, but Daisy gently calmed him down by putting her hand on his shoulder and slowly massaging, comforting. “Don’t worry, Ash. Like, lets just tell them the truth. I know your mother will understand that we just wanted to get away for a while.”

“Are you sure?”

“Definitely,” assured Daisy. She had a tone of confidence to her that Ash couldn’t help but feel a lot better.

“You’re right. I guess I needed to get out and away from Misty and May.”
