"ASH!" Silence. It was Misty's voice. "Ash, would you please be so kind as to be quiet?" Misty's head popped in the doorway, "I'm trying to take a nap right now!" "Would you be so kind as to shove it up you're a-" Gary was cut off from Amy's hand. "Yes, we will." Amy agreed after receiving a annoyed look from Gary. Misty's head withdrew back into the hallway, and it quickly popped back in. "Oh, and Ash?" Misty looked smug, "meet me on the roof tonight!" With that she slammed the door. "Ooo someone has a girlfriend!" "Oh, be quiet." _______ _______ _______ "Hmm." Ash scanned the top of the old Mirage Inn. Wow, no one had been up here in a while. A empty chair had toppled over, some type of tent thingy had collected dust as a trainer collected badges, and to top it all off, it was the time of day when it was almost night, but it was still day. The timing of...time, sure did set the stage, and then left it half completed. Because that's what it looked like up here, a beige, dark tower that held some trash, and random lawn furniture. The wind blew his coat around, and chilled him to the bone. His friends, who were waiting at an open door (who weren't eves-dropping), quickly shut it when they saw Ash looked over to them. Ash chuckled to himself. A strong gust of wind bellowed, and seemed to hurl Ash off the side of the beige building top. "Yah!" Ash gagged out the words as he nearly grasped the side of the top. He looked down. Great, the sidewalk was deserted. The wind played with Ash's dangling body for a short while, then another bellow of air swooped Ash up and he hit the wall with a thud. Maybe someone could hear that. Ash groaned. He turned his head to the right. There was a blinding array of colors that made Ash temporarily forget his situation. One of his, now sweat drenched, hands went to cover his eyes. He gasped, and swayed to one side. The wind blew, and cooled down his hand, making it feel weird. Ash was really freaked out now, and he started to panic. He hummed a tune that he used to try and get Pikachu feel better sometimes. The beige paint started to crack under his weight, and his fingertips were the only things that held his grip, and his life. His body felt cold, and clammy. _______ ________ ________ "Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed when it walked out on the roof, to see someone's hand draped on the edge of the building. Pikachu looked down and gasped at what it saw. Ash had his eyes closed, and he was dangerously hanging with one hand. "Pika-Pi?" Pikachu asked, while poking Ash's head. Hopefully Ash wasn't dead yet. "Huh?" Ash's head rose, "Thank goodness you're here Pikachu!" he exclaimed, "quick get Bulbasuar, I can't last much longer!" Pikachu obeyed, and slid down Ash, careful no to fall down itself. Pikachu grabbed Bulbasuar's Pokeball and chucked it over the side. An opening sound was heard, followed by a 'Bulba!'. "Bulbasuar, use vine whip and help me out!" Ash said, it sounded like it hurt. "Pikachu, you have to jump off me now, I may fall." "Achu Pik! -Crap, no! -" Pikachu exclaimed. ________ _________ _________ Ash closed his eyes and awaited death and he felt his grip fade away, and he plummeted down, but was caught by Bulbasuar's vines. Bulbasuar brought Ash up, and set him down. "Well, I hope you don't do that again." A female voice said sharply. Ash looked up and saw Misty standing there with her hands on her hips. "Well, excuse me. The wind blew me off." Ash countered. "Ha, I thought you were weak, but the wind can beat you up?" Misty smirked. "It was a strong gale." Ash mumbled, but the point was still taken, "What do you want anyway?" "I'm asking you for a Pokemon battle, two Pokemon each, but this time if you lose you have to give the winner something that the winner chooses." "What? That's weird Misty." Ash rubbed his neck where it hurt. "You say that now Ashy-Boy." Misty smirked, I chose your dinky hat." Ash growled, "Fine, I'll chose your...uh." Ash tried to chose something of little importance, " some pages in your diary!" "Is that all?" "No, I want the one for today, yesterday, and the one on August 24, the day we met!" "Hmm, interesting choices. I hope you don't miss your hat to much Ashy-boy." "Heh, we'll see." Ash looked calm, "Go Bulbasuar!" Ash pointed straight forward and Bulbasuar jumped out on the scene. "Ulba!" it yelled, ready for combat. "Go Togetic!" Misty yelled back. Ash was a little stunned, when had Togepi evolved and even more astonishing, how come it looked a little black? "Toge!" Togetic called out in a low voice. "Bulbasuar use Poison Powder!" "Physic Togetic!" Bulbasuar spewed a purple powder right at Togetic. Togetic countered by sending out a massive rippled wave of blueish haze. The haze deflected the powder and hit Bulbasuar head on, sending it flying over the edge of the building. "Bulbasuar!" both trainer, and Pokemon said at the same time. "Return!" Ash sent out a red beam of energy, (the red beam could manipulate a Pokemon's shape into light, so it's easy to store. Don't ask how.), and Bulbasuar returned to it's Pokeball. "Grr, go Pikachu! Use Lightscreen!" Pikachu bounded out, not sure if it should attack the former Togepi. "Pika Pi?" Pikachu asked Ash. "Pikachu, that isn't Togepi anymore, go ahead and attack." "Pi!" Pikachu waved its arms in a circle, and chanted 'Pi Pi Pikachu Pi'. "Heh, Ash is brought to attacking a baby. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Another Physic NOW!" "Shutup!" Ash yelled, "Pikachu, dodge it! Then do a Thunderwave at it!" Ash now had tears streaming down his face, this wasn't right. Pikachu dodged another blue haze, to a much-surprised Misty and Togetic, and shot out a blue electric attack at Togetic. "Pikachu stop!" Ash cried out, coughing on his tears. "Pi?" Pikachu was startled, and the blue electricity stoped inches from Togetic's face. "Hahahahaha!" misty laughed, "You can't even beat one of my Pokemon, you really are a loser, and a moron!" Misty stoped laughing and looked witha whole lotta hate, "Togetic use Ancient Power and Pikachu," she stopped for a moment, the smiled, "and Ash." The darkness around Togetic that lingered around had now became a full-fledged cloak of darkness, (which made it look like it was painted black, yuck.). It smiled and unleashed an Ancient Power at Pikachu and Ash. The rising rocks were also black, but Ash was more worried about Pikachu's saftey. He gathered up Pikachu, barely dodging rising stones, and said in a harsh tone: "Have the stupid hat, and Misty..." He stopped talking for a moment, by now he was standing in front of Misty. "Consider yourself lucky, you've just lost a friend and gained an enemy." He finished, and then was slammed in the side by a glowing black stone. The last thing he felt, before he blacked out, was Pikachu's soft fur, but he could sworn he had heard an old man laughing not only at him, but also at Misty. ______ ________ ______ Misty looked the pile of rocks, and Ash. His hat floated gracefully towards Misty. She smiled and ripped the hat in two, and threw it over the side. "Togetic, return" _______ ________ ______ Hmm, well that was weird. o_O; You know, I had another story for this part, but I didn't use it because it got crazyish at the ending. I tried to make a battle type thing too. Man, those are hard to do! I praise anyone that can make a good one. Yes, I used this spiffy Pokedex thing that I have to find out what attacks Togetic can learn. It learns a move called 'Follow Me'. If anyone could tell me what that does, tell me in that review you'll be doing, ok? If you want to see the worse of the two you can also ask in that future review of yours, gosh you're so nice to review. Anything else? Oh yes, meh name is the izzle. -Crobat.
