The ocean water washed up on the deserted island known as Pang Island.  Pang Island is known for having a species of Pokémon that aren't found anywhere else at all. They used to live all over the world until humans ended up driving them away hundreds of years ago. Pang Island was restricted since these Pokémon were very dangerous. This species was known as Gagenis. Gagenis were huge Pokémon, about seven feet tall. They were huge dragons with huge wings, claws, teeth and everything else big dragons have. They have yellow cat eyes with a sensitive stare that could tell stories. In myths and legends it is told that Gageni had the power to bring people, plants, Pokémon, pretty much anything back to life. They had to be either the person who died. They place their claws over the dead person's heart and the other claw over the wound or wherever the death was caused by. They would then hum a sweet song. If they were lucky, the person would come back to life. The only problem with this was that when a Gageni dies, then whatever it brought back to life dies with them. That is why Gagenis rarely did this.

One afternoon, a female Gageni was happily playing with her son. She had dark green scaly skin as well did her son. He was climbing on her back and sliding down her tail. He let out a sweet little giggle as well as his mother. The baby was only about a foot tall whereas his mother was over twenty feet tall. When he landed on the ground he landed on some dirt. His mother picked him up by gently grabbing his tail, making sure his tail was in the gap between her teeth. She slowly turned her head toward the ocean water. She dropped him in the water and he dived under right away. He let out some more sweet giggles and he popped out of the water several times. She smiled and let out a deep giggle as well. He jump out of the water and ran toward his mother. He gave her a hug to her tail. She wrapped him around her tail. He felt very happy and safe with his mother. She slowly rocked him back and forth slowly. He fell fast asleep with a smile on his face.  She gentlely laid him down on a pile of wet leaves. She rose her head when she heard something coming. She turned around right away roaring. To her embarrassment, it was only her mate. He was a big Gageni with tan skin. In his mouth was a dead Tauros. He dropped the Tauros in front of her. She smiled and began to eat the Tauros. She ate the whole thing up except for one of the Tauros's legs. She walked over to their son and placed the leg next to him. Their baby was only a few months old yet they loved him very much and he loved them very much back. The two adult Gagenis talking to each other, but making growling sounds since it was all they could do. After they talked, the female walked off into the woods. It was her turn to go relax while the male watched over the baby. He laid down near his sleeping son. He wrapped his tail around the baby, making a circle around him. The male then rose his head, hearing something else coming. He got right on his feet, standing in front of the baby, roaring louder than ever. Out of the woods came out a Charizard that was about five feet tall. The Charizard looked at the baby and ran toward it. But the father wouldn't allow it. When the Charizard was close, he jumped in front of him. He roared right in his face. The teenager bit his tail. The male easily swung his tail, making the Charizard slam into trees. He got on his feet and roared back at him. The father bit on the Charizard's neck. He grabbed onto the Charizard's neck with his claws. The Charizard let out his last roars. Soon, the Charizard crashed on the ground dead. The father Gageni roared out for his victory and began to eat. As his father was eating, the baby slowly opened his eyes. He rolled over on his stomach to see the beautiful ocean. The water washed up to the Gageni. He got on his feet and enjoyed wading for a minute. He then turned around to see his daddy eating a Gageni. The baby got ready to "roar" to him, but the current was very high. It washed up over the Gageni, making him float out to sea. He cried out for someone to get him. The father Gageni heard this crying so he rose his head, showing his bloody teeth. He roared out very loudly when he saw his baby was floating away.  He got on his feet, roaring loudly. Every Gageni on the island hear the call. The one to really hear this is the female. She jumped in the air and began to fly. She landed on the ground and asked the male what was wrong (in their language). He was looking at the water roaring. She turned her head to see her son was floating away.  She roared very loudly. She ran toward the ocean and got ready to fly away, but they saw a boat coming. The baby swam toward the boat. His parents were roaring for him to swim for the island, but he wasn't listening. The baby crawled into an open window on the stopped boat. The female roared loudly, she got ready to swim in the water, but the male grabbed onto her arm. He was telling her in their own language it's too dangerous.

The baby climbed into the boat with a sweet smile on his face. He made little cute sounds as he walked around calmly. (He sounds like Gizmo from Gremlins). His parents were roaring for him to come back, but he didn't pay any attention to them. The captin saw the two on the shore roaring. A young man came into the room where the captin was.
"What is it sir?" asks the young man
"Gagenis..." he said pointing to the shore
The young man looked to where his boss was pointing.
"Shit! What should we do! They look mad!" said the young man
"I'll tell you what we're not doing, we're not sticking around to find out what they're gonna do" said the captin as he turned the boat on and drove off.

The baby Gageni was happily enjoying this ride. His parents roared when the boat disappeared. The female cried as the male roared some more. He comforted the female, trying to calm her down. The boat drove off to Pallet Town. The baby Gageni walked off into the quiet town, unknowing of the adventures yet to come.
