“Daddy! Wait daddy!” A four year old with black hair came bounding down a flight of stairs. The little kid ran to his father, who picked him up and hugged him “I’ll miss you Delia, you too Ash. I will return ten years from today, a pokemon master. I will soon be leaving, and I know that you are feeling down, but every week I'll send a letter, to let you know my love will never change, I promise you I always feel the same…” with these last words he walked off, down the dirt path.

*Ten years later*

“Pallet Town, I’m home!” the same black haired boy, only ten years older, yelled. “Pika!” the yellow rodent on his shoulder said in the same tone of voice. ”Ash! Wait for us!” a ginger haired girl yelled after him “Let him go, he’s too happy to be home to listen anyway.” An older boy, who seemingly had no eyes replied. (*Snigger, snigger*Brock: I do too have eyes! Me: What? I didn’t say nothin’. ^.^)

*The next day*

“Mornin’ ma!”

“Good morning to you, too. Happy Birthday, Ash! Oh, and I have a letter for you. Go to your room and read it.”

“Alright, ma” Ash said, happy he received a letter, it had been so long. He looked at the return address, it said:

Blackthorn City, Johto

He went into his room with Brock and Misty sitting on the guest beds talking about random things.

“So, Brock, What is the answer to 99 out of 100 questions?” Misty said.

“Food…” Ash commented “…or money, depends on how you view it.”

Misty gave Ash a strange look and continued to talk to Brock, but they stopped when the heard a muffled yell from downstairs…
