Sunset

Dark Umbreon

AAML

a/n: HeeHee 3rd story on it’s way. This is just some fluff that I decided to do, just for fun (Anyone with eyes could see the real reason ~_^) on with the story…

Misty sat alone in her favorite spot in pallet, a big Oak tree next to the water. She watched the sun slowly set in the west. Ash nearly made her jump out of her skin when he showed up behind her “Boo! Hi Misty!” “Ash don’t do that!” she snapped, apparently not very amused “What?” he replied innocently, placing himself next to Misty on the branch “Don’t answer that. Anyway, what’cha doin’” the last part he said in a singsong voice. “Oh, nothing much, just sitting here waiting for the sun to hit the horizon *chuckle*” she answered. “Sounds boring,” He said back, rather fast “I’m climbing higher. If you want I can show you something” “OK, as long as I don’t miss the sunset.” “Oh, you won’t, I promise.” they climbed up for a minute or two when misty heard Ash say something “Aha! Here it is.” Misty came up all the way to see Ash transfixed on the setting sun out the side of the small three sided wooden fort. “Whoa, how come I haven’t seen this yet,” Misty said in surprise. Ash didn’t answer. Misty sat next to him. They both watched the sun silently. After a few minutes the sun touched the horizon. At that very moment Misty laid her head on Ash’s shoulder. Ash jumped a little, and blushed, but relaxed. “Ash,” Misty spoke ”Since Brock’s not here I have something to tell you, but promise me that you’ll still be my friend, even if you don’t like what I have to say…” “Misty you of all people should know that I’ll always be your friend no matter what.” “Ash… I…I…love you” Ash got a look of surprise when she said those words. When Misty saw his look she turned away, tears welling up in her eyes. ”Misty,” Ash spoke “I… love you, too” Misty took one look at him and hugged him tightly, Ash did the same. When they released they looked at each other again and then leaned forward into a kiss (~_^). They held it for a long time, each of them never wanting it to end, but it ended with each of them catching their breath. They were both bright red which reminded them they had missed the sunset ”Oh, we missed the sunset… you broke your promise, that’s OK at least I got the guy of my dreams…” Ash blushed at this. “Lets go now, Misty, My Mom’s gonna worry.” “OK, lets go” they climbed down the tree, and skipped down the path to Ash’s house, hand in hand…
