***Missing Misty***

Note: Now this is going to be confusing but it's good I promise you. The parts 
are short I know, but that's why I am updating twice.

*Part 1*

Ash and Misty were walking through the woods alone. Ash and Misty were alone 
because Brock had decided to go on his own for a while and as for Sharon 
well...she was a different case.......

*Flashback*

"Misty I'm going and that's finale!" said Sharon with such force that anyone 
else who tried to contradict her would end up losing 4 teeth.

But Misty didn't give up, she wasn't going to let her sister leave just because 
she had a hunch that she loved Ash. Which she didn't, she just cared about him 
that's all. (Mmhhmm. Sure. Right. We all believe you Misty.)

"Sharon! I do not love Ash! There's nothing between us! We're just good 
friends." said Misty.

They were having a party for Ash who had gotten Best 16 in the Indigo League.

"Then that means he's your boyfriend." said Sharon as she packed her backpack.

"He is not my boyfriend!" shouted Misty angrily.

"Well Misty," said Sharon turning to face her now fuming sister "he is a boy and 
is a friend so technically he is your boyfriend so to speak."

Sharon smiled and returned to packing leaving Misty speechless. As soon as 
Sharon finished packing and put on her rollerblades Misty recovered and had 
already opened her mouth when Sharon turned to her with a serious face.

"Look Misty. I know you love Ash. I know it, I just know it. You don't think you 
do 'cause you don't fell that love that's inside your heart Misty. That love has 
been burning for ages and it's dying to come out. Misty-"

"Where do you get all this stuff Sharon?" asked Misty.

"I don't know. It just comes from the heart I guess." said Sharon shrugging.

"Misty do you care about Ash?"

"Yeah."

"How much exactly?"

"I don't know I guess-"

"No Misty you shouldn't guess you should know. Tell me do you feel a funny 
sensation in your stomach when he smiles at you? Or when he touches you?"

"Sometimes. But what does all this have to do with-"

"Well Misty it's settled."

"What? What are-"

"You do like Ash."

"What! Sharon don't start with-"

"Seriously, Misty when someone likes someone or loves someone, they get 
butterflies-"

"Who said I had Butterflies?"

"-Get butterflies in their stomach when a special someone smiles at them or 
touches them" continued Sharon as though she couldn't hear Misty.

"Sharon that doesn't prove anything."

"Think about it Misty. You get butterflies-"

"I said I had a funny sensation but butter-"

"-When Ash touches or smiles at you" said Sharon rising her voice higher. "All 
the pieces fit Misty. And they point to the only possible answer: You love Ash."

"But-"

"No buts, ands, or ifs about it Misty. You love Ash. I know you do I can feel 
it. Misty this is your opportunity to have someone who will care about you. 
Don't blow it." Sharon smiled.

"Well I better get going. I'm gonna miss ya a lot. Say goodbye to everyone for 
me will ya." said Sharon hugging her sister.

As Sharon gave one last smile to Misty and was about to go out the door Misty 
asked,

"Sharon?"

"Yeah" said Sharon turning towards her.

"How did you know I loved Ash? And how did you know I get butterflies?"

Sharon smiled and aid,

"Because Misty a long time ago- I used to be just like you."

And with that Sharon left Misty alone not knowing when she would come back, not 
knowing if Misty and Ash would be together soon, but knowing that Misty had 
finally found her special someone who she loved and cared about and her special 
someone who felt the same way...

*End Flashback*

Misty sighed. It had been a year since Sharon left her and Ash and she still 
hadn't told Ash. (Togepi was sleeping in Misty's backpack in case you're all 
wondering.)'Time is running out Misty...' Sharon wrote once when she had heard 
that Misty hadn't told Ash.

'Sharon is right. I have got to tell him soon or I'll regret it.' she thought 
determinedly
