***Missing Misty***

Note: Well you guys all know what happened last time so why don't we get a move 
on.

*Part 5*

Misty slowly opened her eyes. She found herself behind a tree. She sat up and 
saw Ash walking away.

'Ash what are you- Never mind that' she thought. "Ash! What are you doing her- 
are you even listening to me?" she yelled walking towards Ash.

She waved a hand in front of his face he didn't even flinch. Misty thinking he 
was ignoring her stood right in the middle of his path, seeing if he would look 
at. He didn't. Instead he went right through her. Misty gasped.

"Oh My God!" she exclaimed.

She turned and followed Ash. She put her hand through his arm, his stomach, and 
his head. The realization hit her.

"I'm a ghost!" wailed Misty. "I'm a ghost! What am I gonna do?"

Misty stayed silent and thought about this before deciding she join Ash. He 
seemed to not be able to hear her, feel her, or see her. He was walking in the 
direction of the place where he left her...

'Hey when he doesn't find me where he left me he'll get worried! He'll try to 
find me and when he does-Oh wait...he can't...' Misty thought her excitement 
dying. 'He can't cuz... I'm a ghost!' "Why does everything happen to me!" she 
wailed suddenly "I hate my life!!!"

Misty very sad walked along with Ash. She didn't seem too happy at the idea of 
Ash not being able to find her. Misty tried thinking of something else but 
couldn't.

Ash soon got to the clearing he had left Misty earlier without knowing that the 
Misty he knew and loved was right behind him sulking and worrying never to be 
seen again. What he saw surprised him. He didn't see Misty. Then suddenly he 
heard sobbing, coming from behind a tree. Misty was the first to look but what 
she saw made her gasp that no one could hear but the red-headed girl did seem to 
hear it because she looked up to grin evilly at Misty, then went back to crying.

Ash looked behind the tree and saw (well who he thought was) Misty. But he 
didn't know that it wasn't Misty, it was "The Spirit of Misty."

"Misty?" asked Ash.

The Spirit of Misty looked up and what Ash saw made his heart ache. It was a 
tearstained (who he thought) Misty

"Ash..." whispered The Spirit of Misty, "I'm sorry. I am so sorry. If you don't 
want me to travel with you, I understand."

"Make her go jump off a cliff Ash! She's not Misty! I am!" yelled Misty hoping 
Ash would listen to her 'Oh wait...' thought Misty her hope dying, 'He can't 
hear me 'cause I'm a ghost...'

'Actually you're a spirit.' said a voice inside her head.

Misty gasped looking at the girl before her. Fear overcoming her.

'Yes Misty I can read you mind. But why don't we talk later.' said the amused 
voice in her head.

"Misty I-want you to keep traveling with me-I care a-bout you a-a lot." 
stuttered Ash

"Really?"

"Ye-yeah."

"Oh Ash!" said The Spirit of Misty rushing to hug him.

While she hugged Ash the real Misty was fuming. The Spirit of Misty grinned at 
Misty from under Ash's arms, which were wrapped around her.

"You! You...wench!" cried out Misty tears shining in her eyes.

''I'm sorry Misty but there's not enough room for the both of us to be in this 
world. You're a spirit and I'm the real thing. You should be careful with what 
you wish for misty... It might just come true." said the evil voice in her head.

Misty gasped and covered her ears with her hands crying out,

"Stop talking inside my head!"

'You shouldn't have wished to disappear.'

"This is all you fault!" shouted the real Misty.

'My fault? No it's yours. You did this to yourself and so did he. He hates you.'

"No!" cried out Misty the tears falling like a waterfall.

'Yes! He hates you, the old Misty but not me, I'm the new Misty!'

Misty choked and soon she was sobbing, she ran and ran...Never to be seen 
again...

'Good. Now that she's out of the picture, I can have Ash all to myself.' thought 
The Spirit of Misty evilly.

Misty was running. Running...Just running forever...Never stopping...She was too 
broken heart broken to stop running...She just ran forever...
