Sharon awoke very late the next morning. She was awake but she didn't want to get up, she just lay there eyes tightly shut. She had had the most wonderful dream. It had been about Gregory. But it had only been a dream and now she had to get up. She opened her eyes and suddenly she felt a hand around her. She sat up slightly and looked around and sighed in relief.

It hadn't been a dream. It had been a reality. Gregory had said that he loved her. She turned around in her bed and found herself face to face with Gregory. He was awake and he was looking at her. She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Finally you woke up." he said tiredly.

"Hey when I'm asleep no one in the world's here." she replied.

"C'mon let's get some breakfast" he suggested.

"All right."

When Misty awoke she decided to stay in bed and sleep for the whole entire day. She was just too tired of everything. She didn't want to get or in fact open her eyes. Not until her Pikachu, Lily, shocked her did she open them.

"Lily! What have I told you? Do not wake me up when I'm sleeping!" she yelled.

"Pika." replied Lily not sounding sorry at all 'Sorry.'

"Well now that I'm" she said glaring at Lily. "Awake I might as well take a bath..."

When Misty got out she put on a yellow T-shirt and yellow shorts. She went downstairs and found the whole entire house deserted. No one was there. Misty ran up to Sharon's room and knocked.

Sharon opened the door and saw Misty there.

"Oh good morning Misty." she said cheerfully.

"Where is everyone?" Misty asked going in.

"I think they went shopping." replied Sharon "Gregory went with them too. So it's only us here."

"What are you doing?" asked Misty

"Nothing much. Just chatting with me bff."

"Well I sure am bored. Are you?"

"Not really."

"Wanna play Playstation?" asked Misty.

"All right." said Sharon.

They started to [play Crash Team Racing. Sharon won. Misty didn't give up though. She and Sharon kept on playing until they heard the door slam. Everybody had come back. Sharon and Misty went downstairs and saw each and every one of them loaded with shopping bags.

"What the hell is this for?" asked Sharon helping them with the bags.

"Christmas is coming up soon. We wanna get ready" replied Oscar vaguely.

"Okay." said Misty. "But why so much stuff?"

"We're decorating the house and the gym. Duh! Misty don't you ever think once in a while?" replied Lily rolling her eyes.

"Hey! Can't I ask a simple question? Is it a crime now?" retorted Misty sharply.

"Guys don't start." said Sharon as Lily opened her mouth to argue. Sharon set the bags in the living room. "Does anyone a sandwich?"

"Me!" everyone shouted.

"I'll help you." said Gregory.

Sharon and Gregory went into the next room, which was the kitchen. Gregory made sure the door was locked before taking Sharon in his arms and plating a big kiss on her lips.

"Gregory!" yelled Sharon voice muffled pushing Gregory away. "Stop fooling around!"

"I'm sorry it's just you're so beautiful and I have an urge to kiss you all the time." replied Gregory stroking her cheek.

Sharon flushed making Gregory grin.

"C'mon let's make those sandwiches" said Gregory.

"Yeah." replied Sharon.

Misty helped put away all the bags thinking all the while. She didn't feel like doing much. She was just tired. Tired of talking, tired of not doing anything exciting, tired of not seeing new places, tired of doing nothing... She missed traveling but ever since she had seen Ash she had made a decision to leave him alone. Especially after seeing how happy he was with out her and seeing how happy May made him rather than her. She liked May a lot and if Ash liked being with her she wouldn't interfere. Ash deserved to be happy even if it wasn't with her.

Misty and May had only met once but right away they liked each. And right away they knew Ash liked them both equally but just couldn't decide so they made the decision for him. Misty instead of going to travel with him had went back home to take care of the gym even if her sisters were already back. Misty remembered the day so well.......

*Flashback*

"Well Misty today's the day you leave..." said May mournfully.

They were sitting on a bench in Princess Sarah's Garden.

"Yeah." replied Misty miserably.

"Are you sure you wanna leave?" asked May hopefully. "I mean you can always stay with and travel with us."

"No May." said Misty sadly but firmly. "I should leave. I won't make Ash happy but you will..."

"But Misty...-" replied May.

"No May don't make this harder than it already is. Please. I've made my decision and it's finale" replied Misty.

May bit her lip. If only she knew... May liked Ash but she could easily see that Ash loved Misty and Misty loved Ash. Ash had actually told her but had told her to keep a secret. If May could have it her own way she would tell Misty everything and help them get together but she was attached to her promise.

"Misty won't you at least stay for one day?" begged May.

"No May it's best if I leave. Besides I have another suitor waiting for me." replied Misty blushing to give her lie more effect. 'I hate lying to friends. Oh well if it's necessary..."

"Really?" asked May suddenly eager. "Who is he? What's he like? Tell me!!!"

"He's really cute. He has green eyes uh..." Misty quickly lied wildly thinking of something. "He has brown hair. He is really nice and he likes me."

"Ooohh..." said May giggling. Suddenly her face fell and she said eyeing Misty suspiciously "You're not lying to me are you?"

Before Misty could answer they heard a shout. Misty turned around and sighed gratefully at the sight of Sharon running towards them.

"Hey you guys! What are you talking 'bout?" asked Sharon sitting in the middle of the two.

"Oh Misty was just telling me about a boy who likes her. Is it true?" asked May.

Sharon turned to look at Misty slowly. She raised a brow at her and said without turning around, "Yes she does...He's very cute from what she tells me."

"Ooohh..." said May giggling.

"Hey May!" came another shout.

They each turned and saw to their great surprise that it was Ash. Ash ran towards the three and suddenly grabbed May's arm and pulled her away saying, "I REALLY NEED TO TALK TO YOU ABOPUT MAX!!!"

May sputtering said, "But...I'm talking to Misty and Sharon about a b-"

"That can wait! This is REALLY important!!!" yelled Ash.

As soon as Ash and May were out of earshot Sharon turned to Misty shaking her head and grinning.

"You are a big fat liar Misty!" she yelled jumping up and walking away "I think I'm a bad influence on you! I should go anyway before you start cursing!" 

"Sharon!" said Misty laughing.

Sharon and Misty were about to leave. They were saying last minute good-byes. May looked close to tears, Ash just looked anywhere but at Misty. Sharon gave a hug to everyone first than Misty. When Misty reached Ash she didn't know whether to hug him or not.

"Ash… I’m gonna miss you. A lot." Misty said quietly.

"Me too Misty. Me too." Replied Ash looking down at hgis feet.

"Will you still keep in touch with me?" asked Misty studying Ash’s collar.

"Yeah I’ll try." Ash replied.

Misty bting her lip gave Ash the hug she had always longed to give him everyday of the year she had been with him. Ash’s arms didn’t respond until after a moment or two. Ash held her tight. Misty didn’t want the magical moment to end but she knew it had to. When Misty let go she noticed that the tears that stung her eyes. Ash she noticed, also seemed close to tears.

"Gopodbye Ash." Said Misty her voice breaking.

"Bye Mist." Croaked Ash.

Misty’s heart and eyes glowed at the mention of her nickname Ash, had given her.Ash seemed to notice this so he smiled and received the smile on the face he knew would haunt his dreams until the day it returned. Sharon smiled to herself and looked at May. The look May gave her told her that they were thinking the exact same thing:Ash and Misty were meant for each other...

*End Flashback*

Misty remembered that day so well. It was the day she had left her love. The day they had went their separate ways...

"Misty!" Sharon yelled interrupting Misty's thoughts "Get over here and help me put these boxes away!"

Misty sighed and went to look for her sister.

Note: Not much is it? Well you'll have to excuse me but I'm not feeling like doing anything. (Look I started to write this chapter last Wednesday and finished it today Friday.) Why? Because my Math/Science teacher died on July, 2,2004 and we just had a ceremony for her today on her birthday, October 1st, 2004 and I am very sad. They planted a tree in her memory which her family plus my class and countless others attended. I got very emotional and I still am. Miss Katherine Gayeski was the greatest teacher I ever had and I miss her a lot. I feel like crying as I type this. I only knew her for one year and still I cried.

She left and took a bit of me and me classmates with her. We were with her for only one year; we were her last class she ever taught which make me very emotional. I may not write for a while because of this so please forgive me but I am going through a tough time trying to get over this so please bear with me. Well send me reviews plz! Even if she's gone I know she would be very upset if she found I stopped writing because of her.......
