Ash looked at Misty and he smiled. He started to think about how to start off the conversation and he wanted it to be just perfect. He didn't want to mess anything up. He wanted to make sure that if Misty didn't love him back, that they would still remain friends. He wanted everything to go right because he didn't want to lose Misty as a friend and he didn't want his confession of his love for her, to cause a figth between them. "Misty," he began. Ash paused and he took deep breath. "The reason why I wanted to talk to you was because-"
 Ash was cut off by a big bang not far off in the distance. Ash's had shot up in that direction like a bullet. He saw smoke and flames from a fire. He heard people yelling and screaming. He knew that he had to go and see what was going on. "Misty, we should go," he said.
 Misty nodded and the both go up and they started to run towards the the site of where the explosion took place. Ash was quite disappointed that he didn't get a chance to tell Misty how he felt, but he knew that he would tell her as soon as they got back from where the explosion was.
 Ash and Misty both ran as fast and they could, they wanted to try to help the people that was in trouble when all of a sudden Misty tripped and fell down. "Ouch!" she yelled, holding her ankle.
 Ash quickly ran over to her and he knelt down next to her and looked at Misty ankle. Misty's couldn't move it at all. It was way to painful. " Ash, I can't move it..." she said. "And it really, really hurts," she started to cry. She just couldn't take the pain.
 "Misty.." Ash said. He put his arms around her. " Don't cry," he said. "I hate to see you hurt, it makes me sad to see you sad," he said.
 Misty looked up at Ash in the face. She smiled at him. "Ash, your the best friend anyone could ever ask for, and I am so happy and honered that your my best friend," she said.
 Ash blushed and smiled. "Well, I'm quite proud to be your best friend too. Your a really great friend and I just don't know what I would ever do without you,"
 Misty looked at him and smiled. "Your the best Ash Ketchum, you really are," she said.
 Pikachu and Togepi came running over towards Ash and Misty. "Pika pi!" Pikachu yelled.
 "Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed, hugging Pikachu.
 "Priiiiiiiii," Togepi squealed as she ran to her 'mommy'.
 "Guy's listen, we need to help Misty," Ash said. "I'll help her back to camp and you guy's go back and wait for us, we'll check out that explosion later but right now she's hurt, and she means more to me than that explosion," Ash said.
 Pikachu and Togepi smiled and they ran back to camp, ahead of Ash and Misty.
 Misty smiled. "Ash did you really mean that?" She asked.
 "Of course I did," Ash said.
 Misty blushed and smiled as Ash held her waist.
 "C'mon, let's go back to camp to get some rest," Ash said.
 Misty smiled. "Alright then," she replied.
