TV news: "The President was found today, exiting the White House to make a speech. He was amazingly alive and well. He stated that there was no need for any further investigations, that the suspect Frank Parker is dead, and no longer a threat. He anonymously thanked someone and said that he knew whom he was talking about. In other news --" The television was turned off and a man became overtly angry.
"DAMMIT! How could this happen!"
"Sorry, Page. Obviously they knew about it and foiled our plans."
"...."

Now at sickbay, Jaime and some other doctors tend to Draigen's wound he received on his side. There was much pain involved, but Draigen only noticed it now, since he was so focused in his last mission. They took out the bullet and Jaime utilized the nano-machines in Draigen to help heal him. They wrapped Draigen in a bandage, and he went to Dr. Carter to receive his healed pokémon. Then went to Manderley. Jade was there too, back from her mission. Manderley gave them a cash bonus, and then gives them their next assignment.
"You're next mission is to be carried out in Hong Kong." Draigen interrupted.
"But sir, I'm injured. Jaime said to rest up until it heals."
"Can you operate properly?!" asked Manderley infuriated.
"Yes."
"Then you and Jade will carry out the mission. And you will not fail."
Draigen and Jade leave, Jade leaving to prepare. Draigen goes into the break room, where he found Jaime talking to Simons. Listening in on their conversation, Draigen discovered that Simons also has nano-augs. After they finished Draigen talked to Simons to find out all about Kenji's situation.
"Kenji is a traitor and will be eliminated, upon sight by any SMF agent. He's a fool to believe such foolish ideals." Simons smirked at this.
Draigen left to his office and logs into his computer. In his e-mail he finds that Alex wants to talk to him. He goes to Alex's office and speaks with him.
"I contacted Kenji secretly. I know what's going on. You better watch out, I think Walton Simons, and the agency's on to you. Kenji told me to tell you to hack Manderley's e-mail and see if you can find something."
"Okay, I will. Thanks."
Draigen left Alex's office and approaches Manderley's cautiously. He slips in and hacks his e-mail. He found an interesting letter from "WS". Walton Simons.
| Manderley, We have to be careful now. Draigen might discover what's going on. If he learns about the Scyther's we have in training from that Scyther he caught, who escaped; he might try to shut us down. Remember, we were put in these positions for a reason... Draigen goes into the break room one more time, and finds Jaime alone.
"What with that Simons?" asked Draigen
"His name is Walton Simons. He's the head of FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He oversees SMF's operations, and whenever there's a failure, he comes to sniff it out. This guy is dangerous. He was asking about you."
"Did you tell him anything?"
"No, I didn't."
"Good, thanks."
Jaime nodded and Draigen left. He meets with Jade and gets on Jock's chopper for the next mission. They're supposed to go to Hong Kong for the next mission, but Jock unilaterally decides to take them back to New York.
"Jock, what are you doing?" asked Draigen.
"You need to talk to Kenji."
Draigen and Jade looked at each other with questioned looks.
-Back on the Street-
Jock lands on the roof of the 'Ton. All they had to do is climb down the fire escape to the room. Kenji meets them inside.
"Hello Draigen, Jade," greeted Kenji.
"Hi," replied Draigen.
"Hey," followed Jade.
"Listen, I have something to ask of you. Please, go to this NSF base, you can find proof that SMF is corrupt. Jade and I have been doing some things, and we have reason to believe that both Manderley and Simons are working for MJ12. Go, find that proof."
Draigen nodded and looked at Jade. "You coming?"
Jade looks into his determined eyes, gazing upon the sincerity. Falling in love all over again. "Yes. I'm coming with you."
"Very well, I'll stay here. That NSF base is guarded by SMF, and I can't show my face."
"Okay, see you in awhile."
On their way out of the hotel, Jade and Draigen heard the manager arguing with his daughter. They were arguing about a dangerous pimp named Jojo Fine, who has taken up residence in the hotel. Jade greeted the daughter, Sandra Rentone.
"Jojo's bothering you again?" asked Jade.
"Yeah. He's threatening to kill us," the daughter stated.
"Well this is Draigen. Draigen, Sandra, a girl I helped out a while ago." Gilbert, Sandra's father spoke up.
"Hand me a gun. I'll kill him myself," he said furiously.
"No sir. We aren't giving you any weapons." Just then Jojo just strolled in and pulled a gun. Jade gave no time in pulling her own gun and firing a couple shots at Jojo, killing him before he could commit any actions. Draigen looked at her puzzled.
"He came onto me once," was all she said.
"Oh," replied Draigen.
They made their way out of the hotel, and down the newly opened street to the former NSF HQ.
-NSF HQ-
As Jade and Draigen arrive at the former NSF base, they realize it is heavily guarded by SMF troopers. Kenji contacts Draigen over the infolink.
"The first thing you need to do is get up to the third floor. There, you can use a computer to open a secret trapdoor that leads to the basement. In the first floor ladies' room, if SMF hasn't removed it, there's a key under the sink you'll need in the basement. The password to the computer is: Login: tjefferson/pw: newrev. The basement should remain unguarded, but trapped. The info should be in a room in the basement. I'll keep in touch."
Draigen looked at Jade and explained what they were about to do. Jade looked at him, agreeing with the plan.
"He must've really known both SMF and NSF. Well, at least you'll get some time for your wound the get better." Draigen looked back at her.
"Yeah, lets go."
They made their way through the base, stopping to get the key in the ladies' room. As they proceed up the stairs they noticed some toxic barrels and TNT crates. On the third floor, the guards start hassling the pair about being upstairs.
"Sir, Ma'am, you aren't supposed to be up here," claimed the guard.
"Oh shut up," commented Jade.
The guard secretly called HQ and notified them of the situation, only they already knew. Jade and Draigen just went about their business. They entered the security room, and used the security terminal to open the trapdoor. Kenji called again.
"Good. I'm monitoring you through the bases' cameras." Draigen looked up and nodded at the camera. Kenji continued, "Now head back down to the first floor and down the trapdoor at the back."
Jade and Draigen headed downstairs, through the door, and into the basement. Kenji called.
"At the first room, make a left. If the door is locked, pick it."
Draigen took out a lockpick and proceeded to pick the door. As soon as it opened, Kenji called once more. He was directing them through the basement.
"In the room is a security panel. Use the same code as before and open the three blast doors."
Draigen found the panel and logged in, Jade standing aside. On the screen, he opened the blast doors. Mechanical sounds were heard as the doors opened the way.
"In the next room you can open the locked door with the key you found, but don't go that way. Instead, go out through the unlocked wooden door, I'll try to turn of the turrets." Kenji hacked the security system from his home computer, tuning off the turrets. "Your clear. The door at the end opens with your key."
The duo proceeded through the hallway of turrets, opening the door at the end. The next room had nothing but a single door at the other side. They took it and entered the hallway.
"The next room might have what we are looking for. If not, proceed," stated Kenji.
Jade and Draigen searched the room. Jade found some documents and datacubes. "Hey, look at this," she said, showing Draigen the evidence. Draigen read the evidence aloud.
"Walton Simons ... chief Lieutenant, MJ12. Manderley, head ... SMF, Simon's right-hand man." The information was broken up, but completely understandable. "SMF really is corrupt. What do the MJ12 think they are?!" Jade looked at Draigen.
"Assholes," she hinted. They received a call from Kenji.
"I hear you. Okay, since we know about the corruption, we're going to do something that NSF tried to do before SMF shut them down. Go into the next room. There is a datacube there with two passwords to the satellites mentioned in the evidence you found."
Jade and Draigen went into the next room. Draigen found the datacube immediately and was contacted by Kenji yet again.
"Take those stairs you see in front of you. They lead to an alley across from the HQ building. Head directly for the roof."
Jade and Draigen went back through the base and up to the roof.
"Use the first password to rotate the three dishes and open the door. Go inside, use the second password and broadcast the message to Silhouette."
Jade and Draigen proceeded. The dishes turned and they entered a hut. Typing in the password, the message was sent. On their way out of the hut, they got a message from Walton Simons himself.
"FOOLS!! We know what you've done. We knew you three would betray us. You have just been FIRED from SMF. The both of you," he said with extreme prejudice. "Traitors. From now on, any SMF agent you meet will be trying to kill you!" The man laughed evilly. Kenji had overheard the message then contacted the two.
"GET OUT OF THERE, NOW! The place is filled with SMF agents!"
Jade and Draigen looked at each other worriedly.
"Let's get to Kenji's place quick!" exclaimed Draigen. "Do you have 'Speed Enhancement'?"
"Yeah, Tech 2," replied Jade.
"Good. We're gonna jump off the roof to that lower one there. Then down onto the street." Jade nodded. The footsteps of SMF troops were heard. Using their speed they jumped off the roof as the troopers arrived and commenced firing. Jumping down to the street level, they headed back to the 'Ton. Gunfire stopped shortly after.
-RAID!-
"Come on, we need to get you out of New York, Kenji," proclaimed Draigen.
"No, I must stay with you two," refused Kenji. Just then, Jock called.
"Hey! There's a raid on the way! Come to Battery Park, I'll get you out!" They heard the strong footsteps of the incoming company. Kenji looked at the two partners.
"Get out through the window now! I'll hold'em off!" urged Kenji.
The duo refused. The door was blown open by a blast. The charge was led by no fewer than three MIBs! The M/WIBs worked for MJ12. The trio of friends begun fighting back. There was massive gunfire every which way. They got rid of the first three MIBs, and ducked, because they exploded after death. They dashed into the hallway fighting their way down, and heard more troops. After gruesome battles, they finally made it to the street. They ran to the subway, then to Battery Park. Once there, Draigen told Kenji and Jade to get on the helicopter first. Draigen heard something.
"GO! I'll meet up with you later! GO!" he said.
"No come with us," Jade insisted.
Draigen looked at Jock, and Jock flew off knowing that Draigen wasn't kidding. Draigen begun running, only to be stopped and surprised by none other than Gunther Hermann and a whole army of robots and troopers. The troopers and robots raised their weapons, each ready to fire upon Draigen. Draigen pulled a weapon. Gunther looked at him and smiled fiendishly.
"You can't win Draigen. Put your gun down. You have two choices. Surrender to me and not have to face being killed. Or, you can go down fighting." Draigen looked at all the robots and troops there. He regrettably dropped his weapon.
"I ... I ... surrender...," said Draigen, giving up.
"I thought so," confirmed Gunther. "Take him, knock him out."
Two agents came to handcuff Draigen and knock him out unconscious. Draigen blacked out, and they took him without a struggle.
