“Whoa hold your horse Jade, we got a long time to wait till it starts you know” 
called out Roxanne as Jade ran around the room trying to get ready for the girls 
night out they were going on with misty, “what am I supposed to do sit back and 
relax” Jade told her friend and with out stopping so her friend could reply she 
told her friend again “I don’t think so I don’t even know how to dress girly I’m 
a tomboy!!”. Roxanne shook her head and grabbed Jades shoulders then plonked her 
on the chair “leave it to me tomboy” she said as she went of to find some bits 
and pieces for her friend. “This is going to be a disaster” Jade told herself as 
she put her head in to her hands, no sooner had she gone Roxanne was back with a 
black skirt and a black top, she was also holding a clip and some hair bands. 
“Told you I’d help” she said while laying down the stuff on her bed “I am NOT 
wearing that” Jade told Roxanne as she crossed her arms “look it’ll be fine just 
trust me”. About an hour later Jade and Roxanne where ready to go, just as Jade 
sat on her bed there was a knock on the door “hey Misty” Roxanne said as she 
opened the door “ready to go” asked Misty as she looked at Jade who was sulking 
on her bed “it took a long time but we are” Roxanne told her. “What’s up with 
Jade” whispered Misty to Roxanne “she’s sulking because she has to wear a skirt” 
Roxanne whispered back making Misty laugh “don’t worry Jade you look fine” Misty 
called out to her making Jade look up “easy for you to say” she replied as she 
got up “well are we going or what” Roxanne asked as she opened the door and 
walked out, “come on Jade” said Misty as she held out her arm, Jade walked over 
and linked arms with her and they walked out to Roxanne’s mums car.
