Chapter 4: The Journey Begins Last time: Royal meeting: “Yes I am Niomee Lavshia queen of The Kingdom of Lavaridge” Surprising Fact: “yeah hehe I’m the princess” Petia said Blown Fuse: “That’s it! I want an explanation with this what’s with this war and why were we almost skewered!” Explanation: “we Lavarigians usually use fire pokemon while Mossdeepians use water types that’s why the guards attacked you because you had those water pokemon and they thought you were an enemy” Foul Play: “The charizard- the charizard are gone!” “What do you mean gone!” I said. SMACK! I fell on the ground “Insensitive jerk can’t you see that she’s heartbroken!” Mayu said brushing her hands like she accomplished something. “My name is Mayu and the big jerk is Kaden what’s your name,” Mayu bent down and asked the crying girl. “Hey! I’m no jerk!” I shouted embarrassed, “I’m Kiki, I’m in charge of the charizard stables here at the castle. When I woke up to feed and saddle the charizard they were gone let out of there cages and their chains were cut. Someone doesn’t want you to go to Mossdeep,” Kiki said. This was horrible. Now I know I said I liked it here but I couldn't stay here. Who’d take care of Kat? She is 17 but she couldn't survive alone. She’d worry herself to death. “What about the Salamences we could ride them,” Niomee suggested. “That would work but all the tame salamence are out on the battlefield and it takes at least 4 months to train the wild ones. Can you wait that long?” Kiki asked us. I looked at Mayu we both knew the longer we were, the worse off we were. “No, we couldn’t wait. We’ll just have to walk. It might take us a long time but it beats just sitting here waiting,” I said then everyone there looked at us in a strange way like we were crazy. “Are you completely out of mind? Walking to Mossdeep in the middle of a war is complete suicide! Even if you managed to get past soldiers you have go through Chimney Forest over Mt. Chimney, across the Maurid dessert, and across the sea! You’ll never make it! It’s better if you just stay here and wait for the salamance to be trained you could stay in the palace just please don’t do something like this,” Petia begged but we had already made up our mind. “Very well then but first you must train to become better trainers. I will have the best fighters in the kingdom teach you, just pick out a weapon you would like and I’ll find an expert in that area,” Niomee said. “No sis," Petia said she looked really sad. “They’ve already made up there mind,” Niomee said. So and for the next month we trained and prepared for the trip. I chose to train in fist fighting being a street kid by heart. Mayu was using a staff because she used to be in a marching band as a baton twirler. I was getting pretty good working with Swordcrad we made a really good team. I just couldn’t believe at first that people actually fought with there pokemon in a literal sense. In these times but I can see where it had its advantages. You could get more in touch with your pokemon that way and it is more exercise for you. At the beginning of what I think is October I can’t tell but I have a pretty good idea. We were all trained and prepared for the trip. I had a pair of gauntlets and Mayu had a staff, and we had the basics food, cloths water, and a fresh change a clothes so we headed towards the woods we were kind of nervous of what could happen but who wouldn’t be. “It’s just like being a trainer,” I kept saying to try to lower the stress. It wasn’t working, we were both really scared of what could be out there we still remember the Arbok but now were better prepared. “Well are you ready,” I asked Mayu she nodded her head so we left the castle and headed towards the woods. OW! I felt the back of my head someone hit me with a rock. “Why did you do that Mayu?” I asked she looked at me confused. “I didn’t do anything” she said we looked around ready to fight whatever came out at us. “Put down your weapons it’s me.” We heard we looked it was Petia she was carrying a bag and had two pouches. “Hi,” she said she handed us the two pouches they each had six pokeballs in them but they looked different they were green and very bumpy and had a cork on the top “It’s a pokeball made by our very own pokecrafter Sir Kurtis the finest in the kingdom.” Petia said “What’s with the pouch Petia?” Mayu asked. “You don’t think I let you two do this crazy plan all by yourselves did you, you need a guide that’s my job.” Petia said Mayu and I huddled together discussing what we should do. “No, NO Way she is only 10 it’s way to dangerous for her,” I said. “And it’s not insanely dangerous for us, besides we need a guide or we’ll end up lost, starving, and dead so we should take her,” Mayu said. She made a good point so we agreed on taking her. “All right you can come.” I said her face lit up like a candle. “Really, you mean it THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!” Petia screamed so we headed into the Forrest and started our adventure.
