This is How the Story Goes... Part 2 Author's note: Brock is narrating most of this part. And it would have been funny if this was actually a television episode, because of Brock's impersonation on everyone's voice... or at least ATTEMPTED impersonation. And he made Ash's voice sound unnecessarily REALLY high. ^_^ And he made Misty sound like a 75-year-old witch! Yeah, but he makes himself sound like "The Brock"...@-@ __________________ * __________________ * "We had JUST finished eating dinner. Ash stood up." Ash: Hey guys, huh-ha, let's all go to the park and play! Misty: Sure, bonehead! You need some fresh air for that brain of yours! Ash: I do not! Shut up! Misty: You do too! BE A GOOD BOYFRIEND AND SHUT UP! "They repeat the same thing for at least 2 hours--" "WHAT??? First of all, I have NEVER told Misty to 'shut up'! Second of all, you made me sound and talk like a TELETUBBY for Christ's sake!" Ash shouted. "Yeah, and HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Misty yelled. "YEAH!" Ash agreed. (It's about time Ash said 'yeah' instead of changing the subject when Misty says she isn't his boyfriend ^_^!) "Okay, okay, okay! Just let me finish the story! I'll tell it how it was," Brock said. "Anyway, after the argument, we all did go to the park. I saw a beautiful girl, and she even noticed me!" Beautiful girl: Hey, what a fine handsome little guy you are! Here's my number. Call me. Or you can just follow me around until I get home. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" everyone, even Mrs. Ketchum, laughed. "Let. me. tell. the. STORY!" Brock yelled. Everyone was silent. Brock cleared his throat. "I decided that I'd take her number AND follow her. Ash and Misty reluctantly agreed. So, we all followed her. First we ended up at a festival, then at the park again, and then we went to the mall. That's where the trouble started. Oh yeah, and the girl's name was Mary." Mary: Let's go to DEB! Misty: WOW! LET'S GO! I LOVE SHOPPING! Ash: Yeah, you can never buy too many things. "Of course, Ash was only complaining because he had to carry Misty's bags...and...you wouldn't even have to ask me how many bags he was carrying." Brock knew he wouldn't get slapped or yelled at for saying that because everyone knew, at least that was true. But then, he pushed it. "Ash's arms got tired because he wasn't used to lifting heavy artillery..." "Hey!" Ash shouted. "I'm strong! You make me sound weak! I'll prove that I'm strong!" "Woah!" Misty yelped as she was thrown up until her feet were on Ash's hands. "There! You call THAT weakness?" Ash asked. Misty blushed and Brock stared in awe...until Ash dropped her. "Geez, Misty, you really need to slow down on the desserts," Ash said, rubbing his arms. "Your scrawniness really is a trickster." "Thanks a lot for the compliment!" Misty said in sarcasm. "Well, next time you pick me up, could you WARN me? I'll bring about 15 softbeds." "GUYS, JUST SHUT UP SO I CAN TELL THE STORY!" "BROCK!" "Sorry, Mrs. Ketchum. But as I was saying..." "Ash set down--or more likely DROPPED--the boxes and bags kind of like he dropped Misty on accident--or at least what I HOPE was an accident..." Ash ignored that as Brock continued. "...And it landed RIGHT on Pikachu's tail! Ash and the rest of us really didn't want to get shocked. We could hear Mary screaming, "Put that back before--no, don't--you'll get in trouble if you--" but that's all we heard as we dashed off. The angry Pikachu chased us so we ran faster. When we got out, that was when we learned that all of us had at least five really expensive outfits that we were just looking at, that we hadn't payed for yet! We were about to go put them back, but that was when the police came! And here we are now!" "Is that what happened?" Mrs. Ketchum asked. "No!" Misty and Ash said in unison. "It--" "PIKA!" yelled a voice. Everyone turned their attention towards it to see Officer Jenny bring in Ash's Pikachu without saying a word. "Pikachu! Hey, buddy!" Ash laughed. "Glad they finally let us see you..." "Pika! (Look at this place!) Pikachu chupi kaka pi! (I'd rather be in a pokeball!)" it shouted. "Well, bud, I don't have any of them with me. Police has them," Ash said. "Right now, I gotta tell them how the story REALLY went..." TO BE CONTINUED...
