*Part One*

Note: This is my very first AAMRN. So, if possible, give me some feedback on what you think! Although, this is only the first part of it, so let me know what you think of this part!

"I will become a Pokémon Master." Ash said to himself, while standing outside his home.
Ash had just returned to his home after successfully completing the Battle Frontier. To Ash, this was just another step closer to becoming a Pokémon Master. His mother had been inside cooking him a nice welcome home dinner. Ash's friends were also inside. Misty and Brock were helping her prepare the meal. After conquering the Battle Frontier, Ash's other friends, May and Max, decided to go their separate ways.
Now, Ash was more determined than ever to train hard, and push himself one step closer to becoming a Pokémon Master. Ash was standing outside his house. The wind was brushing across his spiky hair as he just stood there clenching his right fist. Pikachu was also with Ash, resting on his shoulder, like always. Both of them were lost in their own thoughts. As the wind swifted across them both, Pikachu's ears began to twitch.
"Ash...?" Misty called out.
Ash just stood there, still lost in a trance.
"Ash, the food's ready. Your mom wanted me to come get you." Misty said.
"Oh, hey Misty." Ash said, as Misty's words just rang through his head.
"Ash, is everything okay? I know I haven't seen you in awhile, but you seem..different." Misty said, worriedly.
"Everything's fine, Misty." Ash smiled gracefully, then turned to Misty.
"I'll be in shortly, okay?"
Misty stood there for a moment. Both Ash and Misty's eyes locked. Ash stood there, still clenching his fist. But, Ash was smiling with determination. Misty gleamed at him. She was worried about Ash. She hadn't seen him for awhile since they split up. Misty really missed Ash deep down. She didn't know if he had matured, or maybe if Ash had discovered anything for her. Misty was starting to turn away, then suddenly, she stopped when Ash said:
"It's really good to see you again, Misty." Ash grinned.
"It's good to see you too, Ash." Misty replied, with her face turned away.
"Guess you want me to come inside now, huh?" Ash asked, with a huge smile on his face.
Misty simply nodded, then she walked inside without saying a word. Ash's smile soon faded away, gaining a serious look, as he began to stare into the ground. Ash soon snapped out of his hypnotic trance, and finally remembered that he was hungry.
"Pikachu, I'm starving. Let's go eat!" Ash said, excitingly.
"Pika, pika!" (Yes, let's!) Pikachu cried.
Ash and Pikachu happily ran inside to go feast on what was his mother's cooking!
***At the dinner table***
"Mmm..smell that, Pikachu?" Ash asked, as Pikachu was scratching his ears.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried.
Ash had finally come in from being outside. He had his hat off, with his spiky hat hair waving off to the central air, like usual. He had kicked his shoes off at the front door, and he had taken off his jacket. His standard black shirt and blue jeans was all Ash was wearing. He had a huge smile on his face, as he was about to sit down and pig out on his mother's cooking. When everyone began to sit down, someone had began to knock on the front door.
"Don't worry, I'll get it." Ash's mother said.
When she opened the door, who could it've been? It was none other than Professor Oak!
"Hello, Delia. Am I late?" asked Professor Oak.
"Oh no, Sam! You're just in time!" Delia said, politely.
Professor Oak stepped inside, and hung his coat. As he grabbed a seat at the table, he smiled and greeted everyone.
"Why, hello Ash. Hi Brock. Hello there, Misty." he said, with a bright smile.
"Hi, Professor Oak!" All three of them replied.
"Have you found out about any new Pokémon, Professor?" Brock asked, with a curious look on his face.
While scarfing down food, Professor Oak replied:
"Why, yes I have Brock. But if you wanna learn more about new Pokémon, you oughta try going to the Sinnoh region."
"The Sinnoh region, huh?" Brock said, rubbing his chin.
"I've never been to the Sinnoh region. I bet there's all kinds of new Pokémon there!" Ash yelled, while stuffing his face.
"Of course, Ash. Not to mention, you can compete in the Sinnoh league." Professor Oak said.
Ash put everything down, stopped eating, and thought for a second.
"I could compete in the Sinnoh league?" Ash asked, with a very serious look.
While Ash was considering this, Misty felt her heart sink. Ash just got here. How could he just up and leave again? They haven't seen each other in a while, and he's already considering venturing off again. The worst part is, he would be venturing without her...again.
'Seeing Ash again has been amazing for me. I don't know if I could handle another goodbye from him.' - Misty thought to herself.
Ash became lost in thought. A few minutes later, he stood up out of his chair. Everyone stopped eating and stared at him.
"Guys, Pikachu..I think I'm going to compete in the Sinnoh league!" Ash announced, proudly.
"Aww, but dear, you only just got here! Don't you want to have some fun and spend time with your friends and family for awhile?" Delia exclaimed.
"I'm sure Ash would love to do that, Delia. It's just, there is lots of fresh trainers starting off in Sinnoh right now. If Ash doesn't register for the Sinnoh league soon, he'll have to wait a whole year before he can register." Professor Oak explained.
"How do you know that, Professor?" Brock asked.
Professor Oak put down his silverware, wiped his face with a napkin, then he began to speak again.
"Well, my grandson told me. He's doing really heavy research up in Sinnoh right now." Professor Oak explained.
"Yeah, I did see Gary with a Pokémon that looked familiar, but my Pokédex couldn't identify it!" Ash exclaimed, angrily.
"Ahh, that must've been his Electivire, Ash." Professor Oak said.
"What's an Electivire?" Ash asked with a dumbfounded look on his face.
"Electivire is the evolved form of Electabuzz, and the final form of Elekid." Brock explained.
"Very good, Brock. See, Ash? You'd be amazed at what you can learn in the Sinnoh region." Professor Oak said.
Ash was still standing, but now he clenched his fist, and looked at everyone with determination.
"Then that's exactly where I'm going to go next!" Ash cried proudly.
Brock and Professor Oak smiled up at Ash. Delia and Misty, however, felt differently.
"Ash, if you're going to Sinnoh, then I want to come with you so I can learn all about the newest Pokémon up there! It'd be great for me, because I need to learn how to breed all kinds of Pokémon to be the world's greatest Pokémon Breeder!" Brock said, with determination.
"All right! What do you think, Pikachu? You wanna go too?" Ash said, looking down at Pikachu.
"Pika, pika!!" (Sounds good to me!) Pikachu cried.
As Ash had announced his decision, Misty began to feel horrible. She really wanted him to stay and spend some time with her.The last thing she wanted was for Ash to leave her again. She grabbed her red knapsack and ran out of the house, with a few tears dripping from her face.
'Sorry, Mrs. Ketchum.' - Misty thought aloud.
"Misty?...Hm. I wonder what's up with her?" Ash asked Brock, with a naive look.
"Beats me, Ash." Brock replied.
