Disclaimer: I don't own nothing blah blah blah... Sorry about not writing an intro to the first part, I was hurrying to get it in. Please review, and if im going it get burned, please don't scorch me. I don't like to be the barbaque. Latias was lazily strolling the streets, watching the ever-exciting practice matches. She was strolling by various shops and stalls, planning to show Lorenzo a get- well gift for Bianca. It was only five minutes later when she heard it. "Bianca!" It sounded like...like...like Ash! She turned around so fast that she ran smack into him. "Ow," Ash groaned. "That hurt." Latias helped him up and took ash by the hand. "Wha...?" Ash said as she led him through the bustling city streets of Altomare, back into an alley long ago forgotten - the secret garden entrance. "There it is, I knew it!" Latias was so excited that she changed form even before entering. "Lai lai lai!" She trilled happily. This was the happiest day of her life since two years ago. "Hi Latias!" "Lai lai!" She then took his red and white hat off head, and started to fly around in circles while he chased her. "He he, hey, give me that!" They laughed and played until Latias finally let Ash have his favorite hat back. "So, I guess your glad to see me." "Lai prrr lai." "And how is Lorenzo and Bianca?" Latias's face fell. "What's wrong? Are they okay?" "Lai lai prrr." Latias's eyes started glowing, and they were looking into the hospital, where Bianca lied in bed, a bandage around her forehead, I.V. in her hand. She was reading a pokémon magazine. "What happened to her? How did she get that injury?" Latias then flew over to her tree and looked in the hollow knot. She searched through the beautiful drawings that Bianca had given her, and found a newspaper clipping. It read: LOCAL CRASH INJURES GIRL: DRIVER CHARGED WITH D.U.I. A speeding motorboat crashed into a gondola with girl. The girl was mildly injured, expected to recover in five days. Field investigators have searched the scene........................................................................... ........................ ................................................................................ .......................... "How sad. What's that date? May twenty-fifth? Good. She'll be out of the hospital tomorrow, I hope. Can we visit?" "Lai lai lai prrr." Latias shook her head yes. She picked up Ash with her arms, and then did a loop de loop so that he was on her back. She refracted the light for both of them (a newly developed ability) so that ash was invisible too. They then went to the hospital entrance and found a secluded corner and Ash hopped off while she changed into human form. They entered the hospital through the automatic sliding glass doors and told the receptionist that they were going to visit room three hundred and thirty-two. Ash signed for them both, and they went down the hall and to the elevator, the three hundreds meant the third floor. They had little trouble finding the room, and when they did, it looked as if Bianca had just awakened. She had a tray of leftover breakfast on her bed. "Uh...Hey. I just woke up fifteen minutes ago. Is that...Ash?! Whoa I didn't expect to see you. What has it been? Two years?" Bianca said, excitedly. "Actually, two years in two weeks. We're staying in the Seaside Hotel and Suites. I'm staying with a friend of mine." "Brock or Misty?" "Misty has gone off with a nice couple in their multimillion poké boat, and Brock has finally one over a girl with the same interests as him. They have a home in the country, where they breed pokémon." "Oh, that's cool. Can you guys take me for a walk outside? I can't go until I'm released from the hospital. We can walk in the courtyard." Latias went over and helped her up. Since she was with Bianca, she was not in her form. She was in the form of one of Bianca's classmates. "Thanks Latias. How's grandpa?" Latias pointed to Ash, and Ash got the message. "He's doing fine, right?" And Latias nodded. "That's great." Just then, nurse Joy came in to take out her I.V. "You're all set. We just need you to rest through the night with us to heal a little more." "Um, Can my friends take me out for a walk in the courtyard?" "That depends. Can you walk without the aid of a nurse or friend?" "I think so." Bianca took a few wobbly steps, but she was okay. "Lets go." Ash said. Lorenzo was so busy making gondolas that he forgot to go to the hospital around eleven o'clock. He was finishing an order for five gondolas for a tour guide company. Plus, he had to make a replacement gondola for the one that was wrecked. Although gondolas were his specialty, he also made oars, paddles, and sold all sorts of boat paraphernalia (boat stuff). He had a customer out front; he could hear the dingaling of the service bell, and the annoying buzz he had rigged when a customer opened the door. It startled him half to death after a half hour of complete silence. He would have to disconnect that someday. "What do you need?" Lorenzo called. May's watch said eleven thirty, and she was reluctant to leave the various shops and stalls; they were so interesting. She arrived at Willie's Grill ten minutes early. She looked at the menu and saw all sorts of wonderful lunches. Five minutes later, Ash and some other girl came running to the Grill. "Are we...(pant) late?" Ash asked, exasperated. "No, actually your five minutes early. Its eleven forty-one." May said. "That's ...(pant) four minutes." "Whatever. I've already decided what I want to eat." "Wow! Look at all these choices!" "Oh yeah, who's your friend?" "It's the one I was talking about. She's actually a pokémon." "No way! Really?" "Yeah, that's why she hasn't said a word. She can't speak in human form. May, meet Latias. Latias, meet my good friend May." "It's a pleasure, really. But Ash, you said that you had three friends. This is only one." "My other friend is the one and only Bianca. She was the crash victim, but she is doing excellent. The other one is her grandpa Lorenzo. If you want to know what Bianca really looks like, Latias is imitating her form." Latias blushed. A waiter came up to them and asked about drinks. "I'm having a Coke." May said. "And for you?" The waiter implied. "Coke." Ash responded. "And she is having water." Ash indicated, pointing at Latias. "She's shy." Latias blushed again. A few moments of silence passed, as neither Ash nor May had anything to say. Finally, the drinks came. "Coke for you two, and water for the young lady." The waiter recalled. "And have you all decided what you want to eat?" "I'll have a Willie burger." Ash said. "I'll have a chicken wrap with a salad." May said. "Oh yeah, and she's having chicken fingers." Latias was thrilled that she got to eat out with Ash and his friend. She had never tasted human food besides ice cream. She knew what chicken was, but never had eaten it. May and Ash were talking about some battle somewhere or something. She was thinking about Bianca and Lorenzo, and always that of her brother Latios. Ash said, "Hey Latias, food's here." She tried some chicken, it tasted okay. It was a lot different from the berries and fruit of her normal diet, or the occasional pokéfood dinner. Then, she tried a French fry. That was... different. She didn't like the grease, though. After lunch, they were going ask Lorenzo if they could buy some life jackets and pokémon harnesses, then Ash and May were going to practice for the tour dé Altomare. Ash and May split the bill, and Ash tipped. Along the way, though, they noticed a battle going on. "Salamence, use your Dragonblast attack!" (made up) The Gyarados it was fighting fainted instantly. "Now use fly on that Sceptile, then kick the lights out of that Mightyena!" He commanded. So it was three on one. That didn't seem fair, until she watched in unbelief as all three were on the ground, fainted. "Geez your tough." Trainer one said. "Yeah, my Mightyena is the best I had!" Trainer two said. "Sceptile, you did your best, return!" Trainer three said. Ash wandered down to the dragon's trainer to get his name. He looked...familiar. Whew! Part 2 is done. Look out for part three. This fic is mysteriously growing larger with each part. Signing out... Electric Ace
