Disclaimer: I do not own Poke'mon or anything that has to do with it
(other than a few cards that I got when I was 7).

This is the second part of my first fanfic, so if it's still bad,
please tell at z.schaffer@comcast.net.
Please, no caps font or such, tell me if it's bad, but don't scream!
Also, tell me if I spelled something wrong, a pokemon's name, or a
person's name.

quotes mean that Elemental is speaking.

It started to rain, and soon turned to a thunderstorm.
"Misty!" Ash called as he flew through the sky on Pidgeot's back.
"Pidgy, pidgeoot pidg pidgy (Do you have any idea where she might
be?)?" Pidgeot called to Ash.
"NoŠ there's no telling where she is. Judging by the psychic powers
of that creature back there, she could be anywhere on the entire
planet! MISTY, WHERE ARE YOU?" Ash screamed.
"Pid, pidgy pidgeot pidgy (Look, I think I see something)!" Pidgeot
yelled to Ash in excitement.
"Where? I don't see anything!" Ash said franticly, "Fly to where you
think she is!" Ash commanded.
Pidgeot started slowing down and closing in on the ground. It soon
landed in the middle of a clearing. Towards one side of the clearing,
there was a small cottage, or what used to be a cottage. The roof was
completely collapsed and the walls were almost entirely worn away.
And there in the center of the 'cottage' was Misty, tied to a pole.
"Uh, Misty! Are you O.K.? Say something!" Ash cried as he rushed
towards Misty. Misty did not so much as blink. Her eyes were wide
open, but as Ash got closer, he noticed that her pupils were dilated.
She was unconscious, probably out of pain.
Ash tried to reach out and touch her, but some sort of force field
was there to block him from getting a foot or closer to her.
"What?! What type of field is this?" Ash cried in a scared tone.
That field is there to stop you from ruining my mission. You will
eventually die, Ash Ketchum, so why don't you just give up now? After
all, the only way to heal your friend is to get her to a doctor, and
the only way to get her to a doctor is to bring down that field. And,
of course, the only way to do that is for you to destroy me.
Elemental did not laugh the way an evil person would do, but instead,
his face was sad. He didn't want to do this, and Ash could somehow
tell.
"I know you don't want to do this, so why are you doing it?" Ash said
to it, his face littered with tears from seeing the state Misty was
in, and feeling that everything was hopeless.
I have orders.
"What will happen if you don't fallow them?" Ash said, now breaking
down in sobs to his knees.
If I don't, than this entire world will be destroyed by an evil force
so powerful that even I would be an ant compared to it's lethal
strength. It's either both of you , or the entire planet.
"No, how can this be? Why does your boss want to hurt us two? What
have we done to deserve it?" Ash said, trying to gain control over
his quivering body.
My 'boss' can see into the future, and he saw that you would be a
threat to his plans. He wants to take care of you now before you ruin
everything he worked so hard to complete. Now let's get back to our
business. Prepare yourself.
"Wait!" Ash tried desperately, "If you let me live, than I can
destroy the evil force, right? You just said it yourself that I
'would be a threat to his plans'. If you don't hurt me then I could
stop him--"
You are wasting my time! I need not this nonsense! You will allow me
to achieve my goal.
Misty's eyes started coming back to normal, but because Ash's back
was turned, he did not notice. And because Elemental was focused on
it's task, it did not notice either. As Misty's eyes focused, she saw
Ash and the strange creature that tied her here talking to each
other. But from the disease that was inflicted on her, she did not
have the strength to speak. She listened as Ash spoke:
"If you have to kill me, then do it. But please spare Misty's life. I
beg of you, spare her... She means everything to meŠ" Ash choked at
the thought of Misty dying.
"Wha? What's this? He is begging forŠ my life? He reallyŠ doesŠ care."
And with that, Misty fainted from pain.
Why? Why do you long for her life so? Why is she so important to you?
She is nothing but a foolish child. Her life is nothing, yet you
yearn for her to live. Explain the relevance of-"
"BecauseŠ because, IŠ love her." Ash said hesitantly.
Love a strong forceŠ I would be nothing compared to that power. You
have a strong heart, Ash. But I still must at least try to achieve my
goal.
"What is wrong with you? Judging a creature of your strength, you
should easily be able to take down your boss-" Ash started.
ENOUGH! No more of this nonsense; you will now be destroyed!
With that Elemental disappeared and then reappeared in front of Ash,
smacking him in the face with vinewhip, and hurling Ash into a tree.
Elemental prepared to launch a hyper beam at him, when he noticed how
much Ash was struggling to get up.
"Please," Ash said in a voice filled with pain, "If you join me, you
can help me stop this evil force and-"
Elemental jumped up and attacked Ash again, this time with a skull
bash attack, hitting Ash in the arm, breaking, it, and sending Ash
flying into yet another tree, this time breaking through it.
"Pah," Ash tried to speak, breathing hard, "ple, please stopŠ" he
took another ragged breath, "stop doing thisŠ"
Why do you try so hard? Will you never give up? But maybe, maybe
you're right, maybe we can win. I guess, in order to destroy this
force, I will join you. But you must promise to win against this evil
and keep me a secret from your other comrades.
" Ye, Yes, I-I promise. Uh, thank you, thankŠ youŠ" Ash broke down in
relief as Elemental used its psychic powers to lift an empty
poke'ball from Ash's belt and put himself inside it.
*********
Misty awoke to find herself inside a hospital bed. She noticed the
other person in the room. Sitting on a chair, looking out the window,
was Ash. His clothes were clean, so that means he must have changed
since the storm. He was awake staring at the clouds. Suddenly, he
turned around and noticed Misty looking at him. He smiled and walked
over to the hospital bed.
"Misty," Ash said, "I love you."

"OhhhŠ" Misty woke up from her dream, still tied to the pole. She
felt the pain of the disease come back. She looked up and saw Ash
walking in slow motion towards her, then, there were suddenly three
of him. She couldn't bring her eyes to focus, so she just squeezed
them shut.
She heard Ash's foot steps drawing near, and when they stopped, she
felt a hand on her shoulder, and heard Ash say, "Don't worry Misty.
I'll get you to a doctor." And he then set to work on untying the
ropes that bound Misty to the pole. But the pain once again became
too great, and she fell unconscious.
**********
Ash cut the last strap that held the unconscious Misty to the pole.
She started to fall to the ground, but Ash caught her before she hit
it. He called Pidgeot, who had been standing there the entire time,
shocked at Elemental. Only now did he recover from the shock and came
to Ash's side.
"You can carry us both, right?" Ash asked hurriedly.
"Geot, pidgy pidgeot (Yes, of course!)!"
"Great," Ash said, laying Misty down on Pidgeot's back. After doing
so, he got on himself and flew off towards the nearest town,
Legendor, only now, it is thundering, and bolts of lighting are
shooting down from the sky. They were almost out of the valley when a
bolt of lightning shot down from the sky and struck Pidgeot.
"GEOOOT!" It screamed as it fell from the sky. Ash hit the ground,
hard. It knocked all the wind out of him. He sat up, panting for
breath. He looked up and saw Pidgeot's crippled but still living body.
"You tried (pant) your best, pal (cough). Pidgeot, return!" Ash
called, pulling out Pidgeot's poke'ball. Then, Ash remembered Misty.
He got up (and almost fell back down) and searched for Misty.
"She's okay!" Ash cried when he saw that she had landed on a pile of
leaves. Ash scooped her up as fast as he could and started running
toward the town, hoping that he would get there in time, for both
Misty's sake and Pidgeot's.
