SECRETS UNFOLD - PART 1 Hello, I am Falcon (me). I'm 17 and I just joined Ash and his friends on their journey. I'm as tall as Brock, have bright, spiked (not as spiked as Brock's, but more than Ash's) blond hair, and surprising green eyes. Anyway, to our story! Ash: 15 Misty: 15 Brock: 18 It was a calm and peaceful day in the woods. Everything was peaceful and quiet, until screaming was heard. Of course it would be coming from Misty, a redhead who was with Ash for a year and a half (how he puts up with her I'll never know)! A boy, a little younger than the girl, wore a red cap and was trying to calm the girl down, but it was hopeless. This boy is Ash Ketchum and the other two lagging behind them are tan-skinned, brown haired, Brock and me. "ASH KETCHUM!!!! IF WERE LOST, I'M GOING TO POUND YOU!!!!" yelled Misty at the top of her lunges. She yelled so loud that the Pidgey flew away. "Calm down, Misty! We're not lost! It says on the map that we're 5 miles from Silver Valley. Isn't that right, Falcon?" Ash asked with a hint of pleading in his voice. "Uh huh....." I answered while trying to shove unwanted memories out of my head. 'Silver Valley....that terrible place...' I though shuttering. I was then startled when my Pichu started rubbing me, sensing my sadness. 'Good old, Pichu...' I thought as I pet my Poke'mon. "Are you sure, Falcon?" asked Misty, bring me back to reality. "Yeah, I'm right..." I answered, lost in thought. "You ok, kid?" asked Brock, confused by my strangeness. 'I hate it when he calls me that!' I thought while nodding my head, as if to say yes. Misty, then, started yelling again and I was getting a head ache. "I'M GOING AHEAD TO SEE IF I CAN SPOT THE VILLAGE!" I yelled trying to shout above Misty. Ash yelled ok and went back to calming Misty down. I ran ahead and as soon as I heard the voices go down, I slowed down to a walk. Sure enough, Brock followed (Note: he can be so annoying sometimes!!). "Hey, Falcon! Wait! I want to talk with you!" I then stopped and waited for him to reach me. He, then, caught up with me and explained that he wanted to get away from the yelling, too. "So, do you have any family?" asked Brock all of the sudden. I was taken off guard. I finally managed to say, "No, they…...they died.........." while trying to hide my tears. "I'm sorry, kid. I did not mean to hurt your feelings." "I'm ok...it's just..." "What?" Brock asked with growing interest. "Well...it is hard to remember your parent's death.........when you watched it happen." I said, trying to forget that horrible day. "Oh, I'm sorry." Brock said, teary eyed. “It’s ok. Thanks to Ash I got to start a new life. He is a great friend…….so are you Brock.” I said, trying to get off the subject. “Oh, gosh. I never did anything to…” “You did! You gave me friendship.” I interrupted. We stood there, staring at each other. ‘I have so many things I want to tell you, Brock!’ I stood thinking. We were soon startled by the sound of running feet. It was a black haired boy running with Misty’s bag. I got in the boys way, and ordered him to stop. “I challenge you to a fight, kid!” I said as he slowed down. “Ok. I won’t be easy. The prize will be this bag.” “Alright. Go, Shadow!” I yelled as I called out my dark cat Pokémon. “GO, WOLF!!!” the other boy cried as he called out a Growlithe. The fight was on! “Shadow! Nightshade!” “Wolf! Hurry and dodge it!” It was no use. The Growlithe was too slow, for while his master was giving the order, my Pokémon pinned him in between two trees and used Nightshade. The Growlithe then fainted. “No! Return, Wolf.” “Great job, Shadow! Return!” the Pokémon then returned to their Poké Balls. “Let’s do it, Pidgeot!” “Go, Flaaffy!” As my Pokémon was waiting for orders, the Flaaffy, a thunder Pokémon, got its chance and used Thunder Bolt. Pidgeot fainted and was returned for some rest. “One more Pokémon?” the Boy asked, amazed at my skill in battle. “Alright. Finish it, Pichu!” “Go, Hoothoot!” “Pichu! This is it. Use Thunder Shock!” “PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICHUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!! (LET’S DO IT, FALCON!!!!)” The Hoothoot, surprised and wounded, fainted at the attack. “NOOOOOOO!!!!” shouted the boy at the top of his lungs. “Hey,” I said, as the kid looked up at me, “can I have that bag now?” “Here,” the boy said. I took the bag as soon as Misty was coming, with Ash at her heels. “Thank you, Falcon! You got my bag back!” she squealed like any girl would. I turned and saw the kid reach for is knife and started for Ash. “NO!” I yelled. “It’s me you want! Look!” I showed the boy my scar, a huge X on my right cheek. The boy came closer, I knew who was and what he was going to do and I was not going to stop him. He took his knife and plunged it in my chest. ‘OH! THAT HURT BAD!’ I though as I was coughing and breathing in what life I had left. Ash tackled the boy and knocked him flat on the ground. Brock helped Ash pin him down while Misty came over to me see if I was alright. ‘No one can heal me now,’ I thought as Misty was looking at the wound. I then remembered someone and ran into the trees, not caring if one hurt me in any way. I then came to a pond. “Crystal……” I whispered as all my strength was spent, all my life disappeared. I then swayed and started to fall. My world went black. “Huh?” a girl said started that someone found her at the pond. This girl was Crystal, a blue haired, 16 year old, pale skinned, beauty that guarded the pound. A Pokémon named Suicune, sensed her thoughts and started toward the other side of the pond. Suicune noticed me and dragged me to where Crystal was. Crystal gasped in horror when she saw my body limp of life. “Falcon! Your dead! I’ll bring you back!” She started whispering enchanted words and she then kissed me lightly on the head. I then felt life within my body and opened my eyes to see what had happened. I saw the girl before me and smiled. “Hey, Crystal,” I said while moving in a sitting position. “Falcon, you silly boy. I wanted you to visit me, but not like this,” she said giggling lightly. ‘I love it when she smiles!’ I thought as I kissed her. We were childhood sweethearts and always loved each other. I then told her what happened as she was fixing my wound. Meanwhile, on the trail, everyone except the odd boy was wondering where I went. “Alright, who are you and why did you do that to my friend?” Ash demanded as the prisoner tried to get free. “I’m Zack and I did that for payback,” he said as he was laughing loudly. He then showed a scar that went across the outside of his eye. ‘Hope Falcon’s not dead,’ thought Ash, Brock, and Misty as they stared at their prisoner. They then went to Silver Valley and turned the boy over to the police. An hour later, I appeared, clean healed and alive. “FALCON!” everyone cried out in joy as they rushed to hug me. I smiled and them about a lake that gave life to others. I was lying, but I only wanted Brock to know what happened to me. When it was time for bed, I called Brock over and told him I wanted to talk. He agreed and we then walked outside and I then told about Crystal. I left out were she was because I knew he was going to try to get her to fall for him. “WOW! She sounds so pretty!” he said dreamily. “Hey, earth to Brock! She’s taken!” I said as I saw his face crumble. He then asked me about my family. I was about to answer him with one of my terrible memories, when I heard a twig break behind us. I turned to face the person and was shocked to see what I saw. It was Ash and Misty, beaten and bruised and ropes tied around their wrists. Ash stood there tall and brave, waiting for the next blow to come. Misty, however, was limp in their captor’s arms. Her face was ashen-white and her face was stained tears. I was started to see that one of my old friends, velvet haired, red-eyed, boy named Troy. He stood there staring at me. He then smirked and said, “Hello, Falcon! I have a bargain for you. You’re Pokémon, Blazakin, for the life of your friends.” As he said this, he pulled out a gun and pointed it Ash’s head. “Or, I will tell them your deepest secret.” TO BE CONTINUED… Well, how about it.
