Chris and Nolan entered the Pokemon Center. They had Nurse Joy heal their Pokemon and waited. Soon, she was back and they left the tall building. Mystery Island was pretty small. All the buildings were purple and the tallest building was the Play House. It was the boys’ last day on the island, and their first. They were a bit sad to be leaving soon, but they had to move on. They decided to check out the Psychic Pokemon exhibit up close. There was every type of Psychic Pokemon there. They even had models and pictures of the legendaries.
“Hey look Chris, it’s Psyfe. He’s coming into the exhibit. Let’s go say hi!” So they both walked over to the Gym Leader.
“Hi guys. I see you’re checking out the legendary part of the exhibit. I met every one of those Pokemon you know.”
“Wow, that’s pretty neat!” Said Chris in awe. The three talked for a while, and soon it was time for Nolan and Chris to go. They walked to their boat, and soon they had reached mainland again. They set up a small camp and went to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Chris woke up and found a wild Hoothoot trying to get to their food. Chris decided to catch it. he sent out Flaafy, and told it to use a light Thundershock. After the Hoothoot was hit, he threw a ball and caught it. he decided not to tell Nolan about his catch until Nolan had a new Pokemon too.

The next morning, Nolan woke up before Chris. He decided to take a walk with Bayleef. They were walking down a path when he saw a wild Oddish.
“Bayleef, let’s catch it!”
<Ahem!>
<Oh, sorry. Use a Body Slam.> Bayleef ran and knocked into Oddish. Nolan threw a Pokeball and caught the Pokemon. Nolan decided not to tell Chris. he would wait until he told him about his abilities. Nolan returned to the camp and ate breakfast with Chris. The meal was silent. Finally, Nolan couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Chris, I’ve been waiting to tell you this. I have some special abilities. I am a very talented trainer. When I first got Chikorita, it spoke to me. I learned that I am able to speak to Grass type Pokemon. I have also caught an Oddish. Just now, I was coming back with it.”
“I have hidden something from you too. As we slept last night, I caught a Hoothoot. I’m sorry buddy.”
“Yeah, me too. We don’t have to hide anything from each other. Plus, we are best friends.” They showed each other their new Pokemon and began eating again. This time they talked a little more.

“Look out!” Nolan and Chris were able to jump right out of a Psybeam’s path. A young, Purple hired girl jumped out of a bush. She had on a short, purple skirt with a matching top. She had an Espeon with her.
“Hi, I’m Lissy, and this is Espy, my Espeon. I’m training on my own to beat the Surf League. I already have two badges.”
“Hey,” said Nolan. “You were at the camp, but you didn’t make it.”
“That’s right Nolan. I found this Eevee. It liked me, so I won a few battles with it and bought a Pokeball. It hopped right in. The next time I let it out, it was an Espeon! How many badges do you have?”
“We have two.” They talked for a while and agreed to let Lissy come with them. Her Pokemon could prove useful. As they were walking through the forest, they all heard something. They peeked into a clearing and saw two Tauros and a Miltank eating.
“Hey Nolan, we can each take a Tauros and Lissy can get the Miltank.” They all agreed and soon, a Flaafy, Bayleef, and Espeon appeared in the clearing.
“Espeon, Psybeam!”
“Flaafy, Thunderbolt!”
<Bayleef, Body Slam.>
“Bayleef, Razor Leaf!” Chris’s and Lissy’s targets were both hit and in Pokeballs. Nolan’s prepared for a Razor Leaf, but received a Body Slam instead. Soon, it was caught too.
“Wow Chris, Nolan’s Bayleef is really hard to control. Is he a very good trainer?”
“YES! He’s better than me. it’s just that he has a special ability to speak with Grass Pokemon without saying anything.”
“Cool, I wish my psychic abilities would let me do that. Espeon is helping me with them.” The three trainers kept training and walking.

By the time they got to Zap City, the had the following. Nolan: Bayleef, Gloom, Sunflora, and Bulbasaur. Chris: Flaafy, Noctowl, Tauros, and Tauros (Nolan gave his to Chris and caught a Sunkern). Lissy: Espeon, Kadabra, Miltank, and Hypno. Zap City was a large city with all yellow buildings. It was known for its many power plants and Electric Pokemon. The trio headed for the Pokemon Center. Inside, they had their Pokemon healed and headed to Lissy’s grandmother’s house. An Elekid and Pikachu answered the door when they knocked.
“Come on in Lissy. Oh, I see you brought some friends. Oooh, you even have some Pokemon! Welcome everyone. Cookies?” Each took a couple cookies and began resting. They had been walking for a long time.
