ALB part 9

A Love Battle
By Flying Torchics
Part 9

Ash moved his lips closer to Misty’s. They finally met. They started kissing. After a few minutes Ash stopped kissing Misty. Misty moved back.

‘Misty.’ Ash began

‘Yeah?’

‘What about Mark?

‘What about him?’

‘Well, … I mean … you like him and you like me. Aren’t you going to brake up with him or anything?’

‘I don’t need to.’

‘What?’ Ash looked at Misty, clueless.

‘Ash, this was all a test.’

‘What do you mean?’ Ash asked, even more puzzled than before.

‘I paid him to pretend to be my boyfriend.’

‘But why wait all these years when we could of been together a long time ago?’

‘Ash, the longer it takes you to do something the happier you are.

‘Well, I guess that makes sense.’ Ash said.

3 years later…

‘Happy 2nd birthday Allen!’ Everyone yelled as Ash, with his 2 year old son, walked into the house.

Misty stepped out from the crowd and hugged Ash, and kissed Allen on the forehead. Ash walked up to where the big cake was sat. Well, to where the cake used to be. In its place was Pikachu. With a bloated belly he yelled out, ‘Pika! (More!)’

Everyone laughed and forgot about the cake. The crowd walked over to the piñata and handed the bat to Allen. He swung and candy flew everywhere. It was like a hailstorm. Allen walked and tumbled as he walked towards his parents.

‘Let’s make sure every birthday Allen has is exactly the same!’ Ash yelled.

‘Maybe not Ash,’ Misty said tugging on his sleeve. ‘Allen’s choking on a candy wrapper.’

Wow, I finally finished the story. Well, I guess I’ll start working on Who’s Side Are You On?
