The sound of machine guns could be heard outside the small little cabin Misty hid in. Kanto, 
Johto, and Hoenn have been fighting the newly formed Team Rocket for a long 2 years. About 
2/3 of every region was fighting Team Rockets. Millions of bodies littered the surface of this 
once happy Cerulean City but now a dirty battlefield. A 25 year old Misty was crying. Not 
about the war, about Ash. He disappeared after the war started. Most people believed he 
chickened out, but that wasn’t the reason he ran away. Next to her a 30 year old Brock and a 
29 year old Tracey were sniping out Rockets. It was hard to believe that Aqua and Magma 
joined Team Rocket. 

Brock stopped sniping to reload. He noticed Misty crying her eyeballs out. 
“Misty this isn’t about Ash again now is it?” he asked his voice full of concern.
“You know it is Brock.” She said in-between sobs
“Talk later!” He said shooting another Rocket coming towards the cabin. Boom!! “Misty we 
need to go! The place is going to get squished by a helicopter!” He grabbed Misty and Tracey’s 
hands and ran as fast as he could. Tracey tripped and fell. He tried to get up but he wasn’t fast 
enough. The helicopter smashed his ribs. He cried out in pain.
“Tracey!” Brock told Misty to go and find shelter.
“Tracey! Are you okay?”
“Brock… I’m going to go. Nobody can prevent this. Not you, me or anybody.” And with that 
his eyes closed and his body went limp. “Noo!!” 

Misty witnessed the horrific scene and started to sob. She stopped when she heard a loud 
Thumpa, Thumpa Thumpa! She looked up and saw a helicopter.
“Brock!! Look a helicopter!” she yelled over the spinning blades. They got in and were taken to 
the Orange Islands.
