In the last episode Timmy helped out one of the beginner classes at his father’s karate Dojo… “Timmy, could you please go over the first three Taikyoku Katas with some of the orange belts?” His father asked. Timmy nodded an affirmative. He then led the students back onto the mat. “You all know the katas, right?” He asked. The students all said yes. “Ok then. Taikyoku Sho Dan, Itch, Ni, San, Shi…” And so he went on, counting all of the moves to the three katas. When he finished he bowed to the students and they all left the mat once more. By then there was considerably less student there. Timmy just remembered, Joy! He went into the back room to see if she was there. Sure enough she was still there talking with some friends. “Hey there, Timmy!” She said with a smile, just noticing him. She then turned to her friends again. “This is the guy I was telling you about. He’s the one that got rid of the pokemon thief!” Timmy face grew a little red, embarrassed to have them all looking at him. “It was nothing, really.” They all laughed. “Oh don’t lie Timmy.” Joy told him. “It was amazing, to watch him fight.” Timmy just stared at the ground, his face very red. The other girls all laughed. “Well I gotta be going now.” Timmy told them. They started to talk again. Right before he left the room he heard one of the friends say, “So that’s the guy you have a crush on?” Timmy smiled and continued walking. Before he left though, he sent out his pokemon and had them all stay for the intermediate pokemon class (which was next), except for Poliwag. “Poliwag, we’re gonna jog down to the training grounds for some individual practice.” Poliwag nodded its head (actually its whole body, since its head isn’t clearly defined). So they both jogged down to the area by the pond. “Ok, Poliwag, we’re gonna swim twenty laps in the pond, then we’ll jog around it twenty times, and after we’ve done that, then I’ll help you with your Water Gun’s strength. Ok?” Poliwag nodded again. “Poli.” And so the two of them did just that. Unknown to Timmy, he was being watched. “Ok Poliwag. Good job. Now let’s take a break and have something to eat and drink.” Timmy said once they had finished the jogging. “We can work on your Water Gun afterwards.” The two of them walked over to Timmy’s pack and got out the provisions. Suddenly Timmy noticed a movement in the bushes. He leaned close to Poliwag and said, “Don’t make any unusual noises Poliwag, we’re being watched by something the bushes behind you. Don’t turn around.” Timmy sat back up and poliwag said, “Wag, poliwag!” *translation* “No problem man.” Timmy nodded, picked up a grappling hook, and walked in the opposite direction of the bushes. When he was out of sight, he climbed up a tree. “Now, let’s see what’s been watchin’ me.” He said to himself. Timmy climbed out onto a rather large branch and tossed a rope over around the trunk of a tree closer to camp. He then pulled the taught and swung over to the other tree. He swung from tree to tree until he was almost directly over top of the bushes. Finally he glanced down to see who or what it was that had spied on him and Poliwag. It was a Geodude! Of course! They’re so close to Mt. Moon, that it’s amazing he hasn’t seen one until now. Timmy smiled. “Poliwag, Water Gun the bushes!” He abruptly ordered. Poliwag turned around and shot out a spray of water, as the Geodude looked up to see who had said that. But as he looked down and saw the water racing towards him, he knew it was too late to dodge it. “Geo?” “Now give it a Bubble!” Timmy commanded as it hit. Poliwag nodded and let out a spray of huge thick bubbles. Geodude was still hurt from the Water Gun and wasn’t able to react fast enough. The bubbles completely enveloped it. Timmy then tossed a pokeball down to the geodude. When the ball hit geodude, it only shook once. With a ping, the pokeball stopped glowing and stood still. “Yeah! Good job Poliwag!” Timmy cried happily. Suddenly, Poliwag started glowing! “Poliwag! You’re evolving!” Timmy yelled. Poliwag nodded. “Do you want to?” Timmy asked. Poliwag nodded its head again.
