In the last episode Timmy walked around and caught a mankey without using his other pokemon (he is a black belt so he knows what he’s doing)… Timmy walked back to the tree Machop was sleeping under to show off his new pokemon, when he heard a noise behind him. “Huh? What’s that?” Timmy said, turning around to look. “Hey!” A trainer (who only looked 10) said to him angrily, “I was hunting that mankey!” “Well I am sorry but you were doing a poor job of it if I was able to fight and capture it before you caught up with it.” Timmy replied. “Oh yeah! Well if your so good then how ‘bout you fight me in a pokemon battle?” The trainer said. “Fine,” Timmy replied. The trainer then said, “It’ll be a one on one battle. No quarter.” “Fair enough.” Timmy agreed. “Go Machop!” Timmy said. “Ha is that the best you got?” The rude trainer said, “Go Beedrill!” The trainer smirked and said, “Beedrill prepare to attack with a Focus Energy” “Machop quick, give it a High Kick, follow through with a Mega Punch and then jump and give it a Karate Chop to the head.” Timmy said as the bee powered up. “Oh no! Beedrill do a Double Team now!” the trainer commanded. But to his dismay Beedrill wasn’t even able to complete it’s Focus Energy when Machop started pummeling it. “Machop, finish it with a Seismic Toss!” Timmy ordered, knowing the fight would be over soon. “Maaachop!” Machop yelled as it tossed the Beedrill high in the air. Beedrill wasn’t able to straighten its wings in time and landed with a thud. “Beedrill return!” the trainer commanded. “How dare you beat me! Now your gonna pay!” The trainer snarled as he ran towards Timmy with a rock he had picked up. “What’s wrong with you?” Timmy shouted, as he ducked the rock the trainer tried to hit him with. The trainer just growled at Timmy and lunged for him with a punch. Timmy sidestepped, grabbed the trainers arm and did a hard Roundhouse kick to his stomach. “Ooohhh…” The trainer groaned as he fell to the ground clutching his stomach. “You shouldn’t have done that.” Timmy sighed. “Oh well. Here’s a potion for your Beedrill. Try not to get in a fight for a while though.” Timmy tossed a potion to the trainer who was still lying on the ground. “C’mon Machop. Let’s go.” Timmy said. Machop just nodded. Timmy and Machop continued on for another uneventful day (except for the occasional pokemon siting) until they reached Viridian City. Once they were inside the city Timmy said, “Finally here. Ok Machop we can find a hotel and get some sleep now.” “Ma chop.” Machop said, glad to be resting. Timmy and Machop searched the streets for a few minutes until they came to a nice enough hotel that would except pokemon. Timmy checked them in and they went upstairs to their room where they fell asleep. The next morning Timmy and Machop got up and checked out bright and early to make good time. Before leaving the city Timmy visited the nearest pokemart to restock his and his pokemon’s food and supplies. “Well I think that’ll be enough, what do you think Machop?” Timmy asked. “Machop!” Machop replied (as if would do anything different). Timmy paid for the things and was walking down the street with Machop when something caught his eye. “Hey! That’s a Bo made of rattan and with carved dragons on each end (a really strong, light, and flexible kind of staff)! It must have been imported since there isn’t any rattan growing on the island! Boy would I like to have one of those.” As Timmy was staring longingly at the beautiful weapon, a man walked over to him.
