In the last episode Timmy goes ‘gaga’ over a large piece of wood… “Excuse me. I couldn’t help but notice how much you seem to like that particular weapon.” Timmy’s face turned red, “Oh sorry sir, I didn’t mean to bother you.” The man smiled and said, “No problem at all. In fact I would be willing to buy it for you…” Timmy was ecstatic, “You would!” “…I will on one condition.” The man replied. Timmy grew immediately suspicious, “What condition?” “I have need of a pokemon that I can monitor during a fight. I’m researching how effective certain attacks are on certain pokemon. Since you have a pokeball on your belt I figured that you trained pokemon. Maybe you could let me borrow one of your pokemon for a day? I promise that it will be perfectly healed once I’m done.” The man finished. Timmy thought about the offer. Well maybe a day would be fine. Yes, a day. “Ok, I will let you borrow my Machop for a day if you buy me the Bo. But you must buy it for me now.” “Deal!” the man said. “If you will just wait right here for a minute I will go and purchase the staff…” “Bo,” Timmy corrected. The man continued, “Bo, and we can trade. By the way, my name is Jared Caon. And if you need your pokemon back for some reason or another, I’ll be staying at the hotel down the road and to the left.” With that, Jared went into the store and soon purchased the Bo. Timmy waited outside patiently. A few minutes later Jared returned with the Bo in hand. “Here’s the Bo and in return I would like your Machop for the day. You can come and retrieve it tonight at eight.” “Ok. Thank you.” Timmy said as he took the Bo and gave Jared his pokeball containing Machop. “Alright then. I guess I’ll see you tonight.” The man said. “Ok.” Timmy replied. They both walked back to their hotels, which incidentally are on opposite ends of town. Later that day Timmy walked over to the place Jared had said where he was staying to check on Machop. When Timmy got to the area he couldn’t find a hotel! Timmy tried asking around if there was a hotel nearby. However, everyone he met said there was no hotel! Timmy tried the street on the other side of the road, but to no avail. Jared wasn’t in any of those places. Timmy ran over to the Pokemon Center, thinking that maybe Jared was there testing. But when Timmy asked for him the nurse grew pale and told him, “Jared. You mean Jared Caon?” Timmy began to feel uncomfortable, “Umm, Yes that’s the name he gave me.” The nurse then said, “I’m sorry but you probably wont see your machop ever again. You see Jared Caon is a pokemon thief and he will often trick people into giving him their pokemon, which he then sells over seas for a large sum of money. Chances are he’s halfway to Pewter City airport, if he doesn’t have a car.” Timmy grew determined, “Well I’m gonna stop him anyway!” Timmy ran out of the Pokemon Center to his hotel. Timmy raced up to his room where he gathered all his belongings, checked out, and ran towards Viridian Forest. After many hours and a few run ins with trainers that tried to challenge him, Timmy was about halfway through the forest. Another hour or two and Timmy heard a familiar voice, Jared! It looked like he was forcing a girl (about Timmy’s age) to ‘lend’ him her pokemon. Timmy was slowly creeping around the woods encircling the clearing Jared was in. Timmy then stumbled on something. It was his machop!
