Return of the Legend

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. If I did, I'd have a lot of money on hand, Ash and Misty would be together, and May wouldn't exist. :P

Humans and Pokemon alike continued to scurry about, screaming their heads off (even if they didn't have heads). Dust started to flur around the streets of Lilycove, blinding everyone that had yet to enter a building. Air turning more brown by the second, everyone tried to hold their breaths, hoping not to breathe the specks in.

What seemed like hours later, a lavender cat emerged from the cloud of dust, his golden eyes narrow. Two whip-like tails were lashing about, small wings beating rapidly. His long fur, matted with mud, was caught in many burs and tangled with grass shavings.

Seeing the humans, the large cat roared amusingly. The rest of the people scattered, some dropping down to the pavement out of suprise.

"The devil's here to kill us all!"

"Run while you still have the chance!"

"SILENCE!"

Hearing the noise, the people shut up instantly. Everyone turned their heads to the cat. He simply ignored them, turning toward the woods. Pirking his nose up, he ran off into the emerald abyss in front of him, smelling blood. Sweet, sweet blood. His bulky legs were running along his broad chest, his pointy whiskers rushing along his slender face. 'Soon, I shall have my revenge.'

Deep within the cave, Misty and Anya huddled together, wondering what would happen to them; to Ash. Misty's bright red locks brushed against her pale face, her sapphire eyes glancing to her daughter. Anya kept calm, but she continued to twiddle her fingers.

Misty, feeling her anxiety, searched her backpack for something that might calm her down. Dumping it of its contents, a strange LureBall fell out. Carefully, she picked it up, feeling the engravement on the top. 'A wave?' Surely, she had not remembered putting this in her knapsack. She put the ball around her neck (via a piece of string furmly attatched), holding onto it as if it was a piece of her. Of someone else.

Anya turned toward to face her mother, apparently fiddling with a LureBall. She knew she had a Corsola, but she had not seen that ball before. It must contain something of great value if she had not told her own daughter about it. She ignored the thought, thinking of how grounded she would be if she had taken it. Grinning, she returned to staring at the enterance, looking for any sign of Midnight. 'Midnight, please be alright..

Hearing the presence of another, Sam rushed toward the bushes, her ears laid flat against her head. Her lightning bolt tail, usually raised high in the air, was down close to her back. Her emerald eyes continued to gaze in front of her. A flash of purple rushed by, somewhat growling. After the creature had passed, Sam stood up, fearful of where he was headed. I must follow him, before he takes the life of the one I love. After several moments, she rushed in the path where the large cat had gone. 'You put one whisker on her, Prita, I'll kill you."

A/N: Well, that's the third part. Starting to get intense, huh? Well, make sure to review, 'cause I won't update until I get one. :P Special thanks to Aaml-Believer for the last review!
