Charizard Girl! By Garnet! The wind blew gently through her long brown hair as she sat on the edge of the cliff staring into the deep blue sky with the moon glowing peaceful above her. “How did I end up here?” she thought to herself. She grabbed hold of her gold necklace that was hanging from her neck. She followed the necklace until she felt a circular object, the gold ring that held a black heart in the centre. “Wonder who gave me this, maybe my…parents?!” She muttered to herself. She looked back as she heard the sound of flames flickering. A huge orange dragon stood in the middle of the entrance to the mountain. It looked down at her with its cold blue eyes and walked towards her. “I couldn’t sleep…” she said in a quiet voice. The Charizard placed its hand on her shoulder and mumbled almost a silent roar. She looked up at the fearsome dragon and smiled. She could always understand the Charizard language ever since she was a child she could have a convocation with them, also with Charmanders and Charmeleons. “Thanks but I’ll be fine sleeping in my room…it’s just hard sleeping on a solid stone for a bed” she laughed. The Charizard rubbed its head with hers and got up. It dashed out its huge dark blue wings that were chipped at the bottom of its webbed wings, looking as if it had many fights with other Pokemon. It muttered another silent roar and flew off into the night’s sky. The girl stood up and watched as it disappeared into the sky only spotting it by its bright burning flame glowing in the dark. “Maybe this is my real family?” she thought as she walked on in to the huge hole in the mountain which turned into a tunnel leading her into the main cave like room. She walked passed the two Charizards play fighting and walked up some small rocks that got bigger than the rock before, once she was in another tunnel that the rocks lead to she walked on in it rubbing her eyes as she trecked through. Once she came to the end of the tunnel a huge room stood before her. It wasn’t anything special all it had a big square rock with 3 smaller rocks around it like a table, another rock carved like a chair and a huge round rock with a flat surface at the far end of the room, on top of it was a teddy of Pichu. “Why do I keep thinking of all these questions? And why have I started to question about my passed?” She walked over to the round rock and sat on the edge gripping her necklace again for comfort. “I can’t stay here any longer, I want to know who my biological parents are!” She has always saw the Charizards here as her parents, as she never knew her real parents. The Charizards won’t tell her how she got here, they always said they just took her in from the wild. But she never knew what they meant by that. She had a few ideas what they meant: Did my parents just abandon me? , Was I lost or just got separated and till this day there still searching for me? Or did the Charizards think that out side there home is just a wild habitat? “Maybe I can go and see what life is…like…out…there?!” she said to herself before falling asleep on her so called “bed” made of stone. The next day the girl went out side the Charizards Mountain and walked over to the waterfall which was about 30 minuets away. She stood by the lake and watched as water fell from the tall cliff that stood in front of her. A slightly broken male voice interrupted her peaceful day dream. “Excuse me, have you seen any Charizards around here?” Her face dropped, the Charizards don’t like people to be near there property let alone know that they live here. She turned around and saw a teenaged boy standing about 5 feet away from her. She looked him up and down viewing his dirty blond spiked up hair, his light blue warn out jeans and a black t-shirt with the collar up. His cool aqua eyes stared at her waiting for an answer. When ever she met someone around her home she always told them to leave before any Charizards come because they have no mercy what so ever for humans. “You shouldn’t be here, leave while you got the chance!” she warned him. The lad was confused by her words. “I will once I’ve found a Charizard, I’ve heard they hang out somewhere around here?!” The lad started to walk towards the girl, she didn’t know what to do, she hasn’t any Pokemon with her but she didn’t want to call the Charizards, the thought of attacking him her self popped into mind but something stop her from doing that. “I mean it LEAVE!” She started to get impatient with him. “What’s your problem?” he said raising his voice slightly. She continued his walk towards him as he stopped. “My problem is that you haven’t left yet!” she scolded at him. She stopped as she heard a Charizard’s roar from the mountains. She quickly turned and faced the waterfall, scared that a Charizard might spot the outsider. “Listen you have to leave before any Charizards see you here” she begged him. He smirked as she dropped that Charizards DO live here. “So they do hang around here then?” She looked around the empty field and saw a small hole that was big enough for a human to fit in between to mountains. She ran behind him and started to push him towards the hole. “What are you doing?” he asked “Just hide in the hole please until it’s safe to leave” When they reached the hole she stopped pushing him and stood next to the hole waiting for him to get in. “Hurry!” He climbed in and hid watching the girl run back to where they were standing. To his surprise a Charizard flew down next to the girl, it raised its head up to the sky and sniffed the air. “Oh its ok someone came here but I told them to leave” he just about heard her say. The Dragon looked down at the girl and let out a few cries. She laughed like he just told her a joke. “I know but I don’t really intend to kill them” she told the Charizard. The Charizard looked over at the hole in the mountains, He started to show its teeth as his head shot up from looking at the girl. Her heart raced as she knew he seen the lad. She looked over her shoulder and to her horror she seen the lad standing out side the hole gripping a Pokeball in his hand. “Charizard don’t!” she whispered to the slightly over grew dragon. She grabbed hold of his arm forcing him to stay put. But the Charizard wouldn’t take it’s deep red eyes off the lad. “I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THERE!” she shouted over at the lad. He smiled and held out the Pokeball. “How can I do that when a Charizard is standing out here?” he said in a sarcastic way. The Charizard growled at the lad and was about to run at him, but the girl still held onto his arm that stopped him from doing so. “Please Charizard just leave him to me I promise I’ll send him away now!” The Charizard snared at her giving her an evil glare. “I’m sorry I told him to stay there until it was safe to come out” she quietly spoke. “Is that your Pokemon by any chance?” he shouted over at her. She took her eyes of Charizard and moved them over at the lad. “No his not anyone’s Pokemon, and his staying that way!” “Not for long!” The Charizard shoved the girl knocking her onto the floor, he flew towards the lad who was standing there unsure what the dragon was going to do. He didn’t send out any Pokemon after all. “CHARIZARD NO!” she shouted at him as she ran over to stop him from hurting the lad. But the dragon didn’t stop it charged at the lad with a powerful tackle sending him flying into the wall. He dropped his Pokeball as he slid down the wall and ended up sitting on the ground watching as the dragon raised his claw to the lad. He closed his eyes tight facing away from which the Charizard was about to claw him to death. “STOP IT CHARIZARD!” the girl screamed at him. The lad opened his eyes and saw the brave girl protecting him holding her arms out to stop the raging dragon from attacking the lad. “I’ll take care of it, just don’t hurt him!” she told the Charizard. The dragon dropped his arm and turned around with his back to the two humans, it spread out its wings and looked back at the girl and muttered to her. “I won’t” she answered the dragon, as he flew off over the mountains. The lad had a puzzled look on his face. She turned around to face to the selfish teenager. He put on a nervous smile and stood up. “DIDN’T I TELL YOU TO STAY IN THERE?!” she shouted He scratched his head and laughed. “Sorry” he said in a sweet way which put the girl of from screaming and shouting at him. “Just listen to me next time!” she turned her back on him and went to walk. “Can you understand Pokemon?” he asked not wanting her to leave so soon. She stopped and turned back. “….Only Charizards, Chamanders and Charmeleons” “How come?” he said as he walked towards her. “Stay by the hole!” she warned him. “Yeah good idea!” he walked back and leaned on the wall putting his Pokeball he dropped back in his bag. “Well…I’ve just been brought up with them…my err mum loved them so much she had loads” He was amazed by the fact she could talk to them. He smile and put his hand on his hip. “I’m Aaron by the way” She smiled and nodded at him. “Kaci” she replied. “So you train Charizards or something?” he asked. She walked up to him and stood next to him, he followed her every move. “…No” she said in a low voice. “Are you a trainer?” he asked. She looked at him confused but played along as if she knew what he was talking about. She never knew that people could train Pokemon, she didn’t see life that way. “…No, are you?” “Yep, I’m off to catch as many Pokemon as I can” he said proudly. She looked over at the water fall thinking… “Maybe I can become a trainer and travel to find my mum and dad?!” Aaron looked to his left and saw two more teenaged lads walking up. “’Bout time!” he laughed. Kaci dashed her head round and ran out. “You’ve got to leave!” she told Aaron “If there’s more of you the Charizards will come back, and this time I wont be able to stop them!” she screamed Aaron got up from leaning on the wall. “Relax we’ll leave now…why don’t you come?” Those words echoed through her, it wasn’t a choice at all to her, she wanted to go leave her home until she found her parents. “Really?!” she asked. He smiled and put his hand on her shoulder. “You saved me from that Charizard I need to repay you, so come along and I’ll make it up for you someday?!” She thought about what the Charizards will say to her if she asked them if she could leave. “Ok I’ll come not today though I’ve got to talk to my…parents first, meet me here tomorrow at noon! So you and your friends leave now and I’ll see you tomorrow!” Aaron smiled and walked off towards his friends. One of them teased him about the girl as he came towards them. She watched to make sure they left once they were gone she headed back to her home to tell the Charizards. She thought of what the leader would say to her, Maybe he’ll understand and let her leave or he might objected and keep her here?! So what do you think of my first every fan fiction? Let me know, of course I’ll continue it this is just the first part. Hope you enjoyed it ;) Luv Garnet x x x
