Pikachu said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ash and Pikachu walked out the pokémoncenter. "You're still not telling me aren't you," said Pikachu. "Well... no," Ash replied bluntly. "As I said before, suit yourself" "Come on, let's do some training 'till Taillow gets back with the reply letter," Ash said cheerfully. "Let's work on my Thunder," Pikachu replied, "You can be my practice target!" Before he knew it Ash was put onder Pikachu's high voltage. "That one is for not telling me what you're up to" Pikachu shouted, with a grin from ear to ear. "Alright alright I'm telling you," Ash screamed out of pain, "I want a moment when Misty isn't around so I can surprise her." "Why would you want a thing like that?" Pikachu asked. "You said so yourself when we came out of diglett's cave the element of surprise and all," Ash said. "Oh well," Pikachu sighed. The next morning Taillow returned, with a note tied to his leg. "Here's the reply letter," Taillow said wihlst landing on the end of Ash' bed. "Why did you wake me up," As replied while taking the note from Taillow, "Let me see." Dear Ash, It's good to hear you are already near. Hey that, like, rhyms. So you want to, like, surprise our sis like we advised you, huh? Well tomorrow evening should do the trick. She said she'd go for more training at the gym so you could, like, come to our house right next door. Love, Daisy Violet and Lilly "May I note that the letter was written yesterday," Taillow said before returning to his pokéball { hehe.. poke balls lol} Ash jumped up with joy and started to get dressed. "Awesome, we better get going as fast as possible," he said while trying to wear a sock over his hand. {not impossible but people keep staring at you if you do} "Calm down it's only half a day's walk we could have breakfast and lunchfirst.," Pikachu said. "Oh yeah I forgot we're not that far from Cerulean." Ash replied while removing his sock from his hand. Ash walked downstairs, grabbed a seat, and ordered breakfast. Ash enjoyed his meal, and went back upstairs to watch some TV untill it was time to go. "Hey Pikachu, look," Ash said, "Misty is on TV." On the screen there was a red-haired girl about Ash' age. She wore a yellow shirt with small blue shorts with red suspenders over her thin, almost fragile looking body. Her eyes were blue, much like the sea only deeper. Ash sighed at seeing her and hoped he could see her again soon. "Hello houston for Ash, snap out of it!" Pikachu exclaimed. "You're no Houston, Pikachu," Ash replied, "Did you take your medication today?" Pikachu sighed and said: "We should get going it's almost two o'clock." "That late already? Ok let's go" Ash said. Ash picked up his bag, placed his hat on his head, and went downstairs. He payed for the room and began travelling north. Route 5 was an uphill route not hard to climb. There were a lot of grass type pokémon, but Ash didn't seem to bother. How could he bother, because after every step he took his heart beated faster and while his feet where half a days walk away, his mind was around Misty every second. Of course, with Ash bieng so absent, the walk became pretty boring for Pikachu, so he ran up Ash' shoulder, opened his bag, and lied down. It didn't take long untill he fell asleep. "Pikachu, wake up," Ash whispered in his good friend's ear, "We have arrived." "Wow that was fast, what time is it?" "Seven o'clock," Ash replied, as he rang the doorbell. It looked a very old house. The walls had small cracks and when Daisy answered the door, a sound not unlike fingernails on a blackboard sliced through the sky. "Ash!" she exclaimed, "You are, like, here!" "Hello Daisy," Ash replied. "Well good to see you too Pikachu" Daisy said to Pikachu, whilst pinching his cheeks. "Let go," Pikachu murmered, although Daisy (obviously) didn't understand. "Well come in you two," Daisy said. Inside Ash and Pikachu were joyfully greeted by Violet and Lilly. "I presume that Misty is at the Gym," Ash said "Just as we said, she, like, locked herself in there," Lilly replied. "I guess I'd go there," Ash said. "Ok, see you later," Violet said in her usuall cheerfull way. Minutes later Ash stood before the gym. The door was open, so he walked in. He took the visitor entrance to the top of the platform {If you don't know I'm talking about where you sit when watching a theater thingy or some match then I blame bad translation websites}. Misty was indeed training her pokémon. So elegantly in the huge pool that formed the stage where battles took place. She was swimming with her beloved waterpokémon. Misty went out of the water after a most apealling display of swimming, making Ash unable to resist the impuls of applause. Misty looked around wondering where the sound came from. When she found it she was filled with joy. "Ash!" she exclaimed, "when did you get here?" "Just this evening," Ash replied while climbing down the platform, "How are you doing?" "I'm fine thank you." "Cool, uhm Misty is there somewhere we can talk in private?" Misty returned her pokémon to their pokéballs and said: "Look around Ash, we are in private." "Uhm, how do I put this. Misty I think, no I am certain that, I love you." "Uhm... Ash... I don't think, that I feel the same," Misty replied blushing heavily. "You do feel the same you just don't know it jet," Ash replied, "I don't know what it is but it's almost as if you told me two different things at the same time." "Pokémon's language," A small whisper behind them said. Ash turned around finding Pikachu in the doorway Ash used to get in. "Pikachu what are you doing here?" "I came here to warn you about Pokémon's language," He gasped obviously tired of running inside the gym looking for Ash, "Now that you've learned it, it's the only thing you'll be able to hear." "Couldn't you tell me sooner?" "No, Pokémon's language has been a secret to humans for centuries, by the law's of pokémon, you had to find out on your own." "What is he talking about?" Misty asked. "Nothing, it's not important," Ash replied. "I'm sorry Ash, but I have to get ready for my date this evening," Misty said, while walking towards the big double doors that marked the gym's exit. "A date!" Ash face looked as if he was struck by lightning. "Yes I have a date, now please, go away." Ash felt as if his hart was torn out, placed in a blender, and then put back in. "Come on, Ash. Let's go home," Pikachu said, trying to comfort him. "Yeah, guess I'll call mom and tell her I'm heading home." "There's a phone booth down the street," Pikachu said, "We can use that, now come on there is no point in staying here." Without a word, Ash left the gym, and went down the street. "Strange though, I don't remember seeing the phone booth when I went to the gym." Ash said "I do, and I followed you only two minutes after you left." "I must have been thinking of something else," Ash sighed. Ash walked into the phone booth leaving Pikachu outside. The moment he picked up the horn, a strange possiby digitally altered male voice sounded: "Fly into my web said the Ariodos to the Volbeat." "Who is this!" Ash shouted, Trying to dial home. "Look up," the voice commanded Ash looked up and saw Team Rocket's balloon. "Prepare for trouble" "And make that double" "To protect the world from devestation" "To unite all people within our nation" "To denounce the evils of truth and love" "To extend our reach to the stars above" "Jessie" "James" "Team Rocket blastoff with the speed of light" "Surrender now or prepare to fight" "Meowth that's right" "So you are the one that has been troubling my team for the past 4 years." The voice said. "So you are the boss to who they want to give Pikachu," Ash replied while attempting to open the door. "That won't work the door is locked," the voice said, "My name is Giovanni, and I am here to take more than your little rodent." "Ash look," Pikachu whispered. Misty's date has arrived, and he was happily greeted by Misty. "Now, no more delays," Giovanni said, as he pulled a gun out of his inner pocket, "Jessie, James grab the Pikachu." James pulled out the rubber glove on a motoric arm which was most commonly used when snatching Pikachu. The glove was dodged by Pikachu as he raced towards Misty. Misty, with a startled look on her face, turned around and saw what was going on. A shot was heard and in a flash, it was over, and only a stain of blood remained on the Phone Booth's window. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Final Notes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Allright, that's it I'm done writing, there is going to be an epilogue but you shouldn't expect that anytime soon, or maybe you can, I'm not sure, I'll start it when I feel like it.
