A TRUE DESTINY PART 1 WRITTEN BY GOLDENHEART "Adventure is what he seeks..." "Adventure is what he craves..." "He laughs in the face of danger..." "And it is adventure that will destroy him..." Young Ash Ketchum, a young boy of seven, craves adventue. He loves that rush of adrenilline that pulses through your body when you acomplish something that somebody else finds impossible. And most of all, he enjoys danger. Danger seems to be his middle name when it comes to things like climbing, running, and jumping. But today, danger and adventure would be a little harder to find. Today he finds himself cooped up in his hot, stuffy bedroom. For the first time in three months, Ash has to clean his room. But looking around, he finds that it will not be an easy task. It looks as if a twister has ripped though here. His clothes are strewn every which way, at least fifty stains cover the dull, blue carpet, and all of his toys are scattered. "I hate cleaning..." He mumbled to himself , as he picked up his scattered articles of clothing. He stopped, and wiped the sweat off his brow. It was at least 90 degrees in this room, and walking around didn't make it much better. He gazed outside his window. Next door, he could see the nelson twins waddling through their tiny pool. Although it didn't look very big, Ash would do anything to be in there right now. He hoped that maybe his mom would let him off easy, maybe finish when it is not so hot. But seeing how much she flipped out when she first saw this room, the conversation would almost defiantly end in one, simple little word... "no..." So with one deep breath, Ash began cleaning again, hoping to god that the heat would die down. Just then, as he picked up the last piece of clothing, an idea crossed hs mind. What if he snuck out? Then he could find some way to cool off, and get back in before his mother found out. Although, if caught, he would face horrible consiquences, it just might be crazy enough to work. After all, danger was his middle name, right? After finding his shoes burried beneath a pile of shirts and jeans, he cautiusly, he crept out of his bedroom, and down the first five steps. From there, he can tell what his mother was doing. She sat there, on the couch, flipping through the stations on the television. Even though his mother isn't very attentive when she watches tv, it was still to risky to make a break for the front door. But Ash wasn't about to give up. Plan "A" has been foiled, but now it was time to release plan "B" Since the front door was out of reach, it was now time to find the back door. Not in literal terms, though. He had to find another escape route. And then it hit him. What about his window? It was only maybe five or six feet down. It was an easy jump. He silently walked back upstairs. Five or six feet wasn't very far. But from up above, it looked like a bottomess pit. The truth be told, he was a little afraid of heights. Just looking down made his stomach turn. But this was the only way. It was either out the window, or stuck in the house, worrying about dieing from heat exhaustion. So he thought some more.... END PART 1 -- Hey, how'd ya like part 1? well, wait untill next week, O fellow viewers, to see Ash's decision.... .
