Part 2
There was silence. Everyone stared at Celibi for a moment. Then they stared at Pikachu, just lying there. Finally, Pichu spoke up.
“A joke right? Pikachu can’t really be dead….” Squirtle, who had been listening to it all, said,
“This can’t be! I still remember….. when I first met Pikachu… we were in Viridian Forest, before the Johto Land was discovered. Pikachu didn’t even know any attacks, and I taught her how to battle. Then we became best friends and went on a little journey…” Said Squirtle. Squirtle started sobbing.
“Well, Pikachu saved me from that bully Raichu….” Said Pichu.
“And like that’s more important than how Pikachu and I met?” Asked Squirtle angrily.
“OK, stop you guys! Pikachu is dead and you’ll have to deal with it! There’s no way to bring her back!” Said Charmander, who was jealous of Pikachu in the first place. The other pokemon around them walked away sadly. Celibi was thinking hard.
“Actually, there is.” Everyone stared at Celibi.
“No way! That’s impossible! Besides, bring pokemon back from the dead is just plain freaky!” Said Totodile.
“We’re not going to bring her back from the dead, but we are gonna get her back,” said Celibi.
“How in the world are we going to do that?” Asked Eevee.
“By traveling to the past.” Replied Celibi. “Don’t you know, I can travel through time?”
“No, I didn’t know,” said Rattata. “Can we really do it?!”
“Yes, we can, but I’m afraid I’m used to traveling through time by my self. If I want to bring all of you with me, you’ll have to get one of each of the following stones- the Water Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Fire Stone, and the Thunder Stone.” Said Celibi.
“Piece of cake! They may be rare, but we’ll find them!” Said Pidgy.
“Yes, but there’s one problem. The evil that attacked Pikachu knows this, and made it so that there’s only one of each of the stones in the whole land! And each one is guarded too! Luckily, I know where they are. But all of you will have to do the looking and battling.” Said Celibi.
“That’s OK. We are still up to it! Tell us where the first stone is!” Said Pichu eagerly.
“Your first stone to find is the Water Stone,” said Celibi. “It’s in the Lake of Rage. Do all of you know where that is?” Everyone nodded. “OK then, I’ll fly you over there!”
“No.” Replied Totodile, whose ears weren’t as good. Suddenly they saw a giant dark figure coming from below. Its red eyes glowed in the darkness. Swam closer and closer to them………. IT WAS A GYRADOS! Squirtle and Totodile yelled then swam quickly to the surface. They got out just in time to see the Gyrados emerge at the surface of the water. But it wasn’t just any Gyrados. It was a red Gyrados.
“You know how Celibi said that each stone was also guarded? I think this is our guard dog…” said Pidgy.
“Do you think that because it’s a red Gyrados that it’s stronger than blue Gyrados?” Whispered Pichu in fear.
“I don’t think so….” Replied Pidgy. But Pidgy quickly changed her mind when Gyrados put a huge hole in the ground by using its Hyper Beam attack. Everyone stood back in fear except for Chikorita.
“Well, what are you all waiting for? Lets fight! It’s nine against one we have the advantage!” Said Chikorita.
“Based on how if we all stood on each other’s head we still wouldn’t be as tall as Gyrados, I don’t feel like it..” Said Charmander.
“We wouldn’t?” Asked Chikorita wearily. “…..But I don’t care!” Said Chikorita quickly. “Since Gyrados seems to have a lot of energy, I’m gonna use Giga Drain! Besides, grass attacks do a lot against water pokemon!”
“Is Giga Drain even an attack?” Whispered Eevee to Rattata. “I thought it was Mega Drain.”
Chikorita glared at Eevee. “Yes it is an attack, it’s a stronger version of Mega Drain! And stop wondering if attacks are attacks because you don’t know that many grass type pokemon!” Said Chikorita angrily. Chikorita used her Giga Drain attack. “Weird…. I don’t feel much energy coming to me….”
“As you know, Gyrados are also half flying type pokemon, and flying is good against grass. Don’t you think Chikorita should’ve known that?” Eevee whispered to Rattata.
“WELL IF YOUR SO SMART WHY DON’T YOU UYS GO BATTLE GYRADOS?” Asked Chikorita, steaming hot with anger. Everyone looked at Pichu. She shrinked down.
“If a Pichu uses their Thunder Shock attack, they get too. I don’t want that to happen to me,” said Pichu.
“OK then, I’ll attack!” Said Pidgy. Pidgy flew up onto the air and used her Take Down attack, make green light glow around her body. But Gyrados used its Hydro Pump attack. Pidgy nearly got hit, but used her agility attack to dodge it just in time.
“I’ll try!” Said Squirtle. He went into his shell then spun around, floating in the air, getting ready for his Skull Bash attack. He was too fast for Gyrados and he hit him. Their first score. But then the worst started to come. Gyrados was doing its Dragon Rage attack. A giant waterspout came up above the water. Since they were so close to the lake, they were trapped. Pichu sighed. It’s the only thing I can do! Thought Pichu. Pichu put her hand/paw (whatever you want to call it) in the water.
“Pichu, what in the world are you doing?!” Shouted Cydiquil over the roar of the waterspout. Pichu ignored Cydiquil.
“Piiiiiiiiii………..CHUUUUUU!!” Shouted Pichu, using her thunder shock attack. Gyrados was knocked out by the attack, and the waterspout disappeared. Because of the force of Gyrados falling on the surface of the water, (Splat!) a huge wave appeared. Pichu saw something sparkle in the wave.
“Run! Pichu, what are you doing? Over here!” Said Charmander. Pichu ignored Charmander and jumped up into the wave. When the wave disappeared, they found Pichu knocked out, but holding the water stone.
