Part 1

Hey it’s me Kayla! :D I’m taking a break from my other story, “Death’s Weakness- Friendship” and doing this story for a while. Why? Best in Category Awards are coming up soon and I want this story to win. My “Death’s Weakness- Friendship” isn’t so good so far because it is my first one, but I’ll assure you, this one will be much better! The html coding showed up for part 2 of my other story because I forgot to put something on it….. (That’s what happens when you’re tired while double-checking your work. Never do that stuff at night!) Hope you enjoy this story!

the village of Greenoak, which happens to be where our main character lives, is no ordinary village. Nobody knows about except for the people who live in it. But there was something about this village that you will gasp at. Though it was in the Kanto Land, no pokemon was in sight there. The kids, toddlers to teenagers, didn’t know what pokemon were. Only the parents knew. Now, you’d ask, what type of a parent would want to live there? Well, I’ll tell you. All the parents there hate pokemon. They think they’re hateful disgusting creatures. The pokemon are kept out by a tall metal fence. It’s magical too. If a fire pokemon comes around, it will shoot water out. Water, it will be electric. Grass and ice, it will be really hot. And so on. It’s too tall for any flying pokemon to fly over it. That is, except for the Three Legendary Birds, Lugia, and Ho-oh. But nobody has seen them around there. Yes, horrible village it was. But then there was that one girl…. the girl that found out about the real world..

“It’s hot!” Daisy whined. Daisy was Lisa’s best friend in school. They happened to be doing math right now, in a classroom with a broken air conditioner, and not to mention repair guys who are too lazy to fix it.

“I know it’s hot. You don’t have to remind me. Now can you help me figure out what 98,456,734,856 x 73,946,735,284 is?” Asked Lisa.

“One……” Answered Daisy.

“One?! Are you crazy? We’re not kindergartners you know!” Said Lisa

Daisy ignored Lisa a kept staring at the wall. She was leaning forward….even more….and more…. Thump! Daisy fell to the ground. She had fainted from the heat.

“Emma, will you get her down to the nurse?” The teacher asked in a slow dull voice. After Emma left with Daisy, Lisa said,

“Since Daisy fainted, we know it’s really hot. Does that mean we can go home early?” All the students looked eagerly at the teacher.

“No.” Everyone groaned.

“How was your day at school today honey?” Asked Lisa’s mom.

“It was torture.” I replied.

“Now Lisa-

Lisa’s mom was cut off by the sight a giant bird flying above. It was golden colored with a rainbow coming from it.

Ho-oh!” Lisa’s mom whispered to her husband.

“What’s that?” Lisa asked.

“I don’t know. Some type of bird.” Lisa’s dad lied.

“What type of bird has a rainbow coming from it?” Lisa asked.

“I don’t know honey,” said her mom. After Ho-oh was gone Lisa’s parents dragged her into the house and made her stay in her room upstairs so they could have a little talk downstairs. Little did they know that Ho-oh had dropped something by Lisa’s window, and it wasn’t bird poop either….

“I can’t believe this! What’s a Ho-oh doing here? We don’t want our daughter to know about those… those creatures….those pokemon!”

“Oh, you know that fence isn’t high enough to keep a Ho-oh out! We can’t do anything about it! Besides, that will probably be the last time it will be here,” said mom.

“It better be….”

Lisa looked out her window. “Oh, what were you? What was I seeing?” Asked Lisa to herself. Then she noticed a ball on the ledge outside her window. She opened her window and took the ball. The top half was red while the bottom half was white. In the middle was a little white button. “I wonder what this is?” Said Lisa. She pressed the button……
