Well I hope you like this fanfic! I mean it’s not the most original story ever, see below for confirmation but yes it is decent. ___________________________________________________
Okay! Now this story is based on a video game called Metal Gear Solid. Many ideas were from that story. The girl and the government were from that story but some was changed around a little bit but many of it is based on it. The names were similar but changed too. Also, there is a song called Say goodbye bye by Ashlee Simpson. I just thought it would be cool to convert the story into a Pokemon thing, so it was like really cool. Disclaimer: I don’t own the ideas from Metal Gear Solid, and I don’t own Pokemon either. I am not going to use this story to get fortune so please don’t sue me. Metal Gear and Pokemon all belong to their respected owners! The songs I don’t own either! Flashback
“I am here with you Ash! Don’t worry!” Misty yelled at a jet black hair, the age of 15, height was 5’5, normal weight, and wore a blue jacket, an official hat from the Pokemon league, green gloves, and Blue denim Jeans.
“I know you are Misty!” He said to a girl that had redheaded hair hanging down about at least 4 inches town from her shoulders, and normal weight, she had two long pink earrings now. She was really pretty from the time Ash had met her 2 years ago. A terrible tragic happened. Ash was on the ground hurt really badly by a Pokemon, bleeding to death. Brock, the leader of the group, ran off to call for help to get him to the hospital right away. Unfortunately, time was running out for the boy. Too much blood was coming, and also he was suffering from eternal bleeding.
“Misty, I need to tell you something! I love you so much!” After that said, he used his strength to kiss her passionately on the cheeks. He knew his time was coming soon, but he held it all together.
“I know Ash! You’re my boyfriend! We had been dating for like a year and a half already! Please don’t die after all this! Come on Ash! Be strong!”
“I know but this time, I can’t hold on! I’m sooo sorry Misty! Tell Brock that I and he will always be friends until the end too! I can never let him go! I and he will be friends till the end just like always! And I will always love you too!”
“Oh Ash!” With then she held the dieing boy in her homes, knowing that it would be too late for him to make it to the hospital. He was slowly slipping away from her arms! “Pi pi pi.” A small furry mouse like pokemon. He was yellow, small, furry, and conducted electricity through his cheeks.
“I love you too Pal.” Ash said to his Pikachu.
There, he slowly went down to the ground, closing his eyes, looking at Misty before drifting away. And that was when he was gone, gone forever.
“The ambulance will be here soon!” A tall man with small eyes and a green shirt, and long pants, about the age of 23 years old.
“Yeah but he has passed.” Misty said with so many tears in her eyes gleaming down.
“Ash, I, I, I can’t believe this.” With stuttering with so many words after that.
End of Flash back
There was Misty now about the age of 16 now. She wore a light seaweed
green top with blue shorts. She remembered that day oh so well. Thinking of
what happened. After what happened, she and Brock stayed together for a while
after the funeral, but now they decided to go and do their old things. Misty
went back to the gym and Brock went his own ways. May and Max already doing their
own things, that’s because they left the group before the incident. May went
somewhere and Max was on his own adventure. No Matter what though, they never
stopped thinking of what happened, everyday of all his friends
lives, they always thought of it all, including
Dear Diary,
I really do miss Ash. I still remember the first time we met till the end. I still can’t believe Ash is even gone. I don’t know what to do now. I still am so sad, and I know that things should get to normal after two years that passed, but it is just so hard. I and he traveled together for like 5 years and I got to know him so much. And when we finally got together, I knew that it was meant to happen. But look what happened now. I always used to see those chocolaty brown eyes and now its over. He is in a grave now. And now I don’t know what to say. I may be a gym leader, but nothing is ever making me happy. Togepi is gone now too, and everything. My sisters just aren’t the same. I do love them though and everything. I miss him. I even Miss Team Rocket, seeing them everyday trying to steal Pikachu. I miss Brock so much too. Everything was the best adventure ever, from going to the first gym, to the next, from fighting with Ash. The day when I had to leave for a while to take care of the gym. I cried and then I saw Ash and Brock were there for me later on that day. Now my life has fallen upside down now. I don’t regret anything though because if I never met Ash then I would never have that much of an adventure. Now its over.

“Misty, you like have someone here for you.” Her sister violet said. The redheaded girl slowly made her way down stairs seeing a best old friend in the distance. Brock came over.
“Brock? What are you doing here?”
“Misty, we need to talk.”
“About?”
“Ash.”
“Ash?”
“Yes that’s right, Ash.” Brock said in a stern voice.
“Okay then. Mhmh. Fine. Let’s go.”
They left the gym and got out as soon as Misty put her shoes on.
“So what’s the problem Brock?”
“Ash is alive!”
“Alive! What? That’s impossible!”
“No it’s true. I know he is. I found out he really was. He’s with a secret government. You see, they had to pretend he was dead to hide the cover. Another government was looking for him.”
“No that is impossible! We were only 15 at that time. It can’t be true, but I was there too.”
“Are you sure about that though?”
“Yeah, I’m sure. I know this because I was part of the plan.”
“What? Then why, why do I not know about this? I was sad for all those years for nothing.”
“You couldn’t. I would of betrayed them.”
“He was never in the government when me and Ash first met though.”
“Yeah I know but you don’t know everything. Listen, it’s a long story!”
“What? So you guys did all this even when I was traveling with you? Yeah Misty……” Brock was silent looking down at the ground in shame and betrayal.
“So wait, Ash didn’t really love me?’ The girl looked at Brock with sad eyes gleaming in her Cerulean colored eyes ready to burst.
“No, he wanted me to tell you this because he does love you really.”
“WELL THEN THAT IS JUST TOO BAD! I AM OVER HIM! ME AND HIM ARE THROUGH! LISTEN BROCK, I DON’T LOVE HIM ANYMORE!
“So it’s over?” A voice said behind the two.
“Huh? Who are you?” The boy was in black covering himself totally.
“Ash Ketchum!”
“Yeah Ash. It’s over!”
“What?”
“I don’t know. Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I couldn’t Misty. If I did I would have been killed.”
“Oh I, I didn’t know Ash.”
“It’s okay Misty.”
That’s when they walk slowly up to each other and gave each other a Hugh hug.
“Misty, I, I want you to go date now. You can’t be stuck on me forever. Listen, I don’t have time to have fun. I have a mission to do.
“What? What?”
“That’s it Misty. Go on and live with your life. You can’t keep on waiting for me. It will take until we are 23. I can’t let you be like this forever.”
“What?’
“Just do it Misty!” He yelled.
“Okay! I will!” That was when Misty ran as fast as she could to wear she came. She could never turn back, if she looked at him again, she couldn’t move on.

Misty was now 23 years old. Over the years she has dated many guys on and off. She has dated at least 4 guys since Ash left and 2 of them were serious while the other two weren’t serious. But in the end, they all broke up. Misty was single and free again for 2 months straight. She really missed Jesse though because he was the best boyfriend anyone could ask for, but then they just went their separate ways. It was obvious that she was already out of love with Ash Ketchum, or was she?
Before the two left, they promised they would come and see each other again.

She drove off into the city wondering if Ash was there yet. When she got there, she parked her red mustang there, and found a bench. She patiently waited for Ash to come. There she saw a boy walking out of his Ferrari. He was pretty tall now 5’10 and half feet, and he was very muscular. His Pikachu was with him too. He was 23 years old.
“Misty!” He called with his almost same voice but just slightly different!
There was Misty. She wore a blue Cerulean dress with a pearl necklace and
“Ash!”
“How are ya Mist?”
“Good and how is yours?”
“Good.”
“Ash! NO! I’m so glad you’re alive!”
“I know me too!”
“What happened?”

“So Misty, do you have a boyfriend?”
“Nope, I don’t have a boyfriend.”
“You didn’t not listen to me did you?”
“No I been in 4 relationships but they just didn’t work out.”
“Oh. “
“Well I’m guessing that you don’t either.”
“No, actually there was this one girl to be honest.”
“What?”
“Her name was Mary.”
“Mary?”
“Yeah. I tried but I couldn’t save her. I should have known better, I thought I could save her. I know I would never be selfish and not give up my life and save someone. But I just couldn’t either, I couldn’t lose because then I wouldn’t save the world. I couldn’t save her! Ugh! Mary….” The anger built up inside him with him clenching his fists together in anger and sorrow.
“Ash, I know you couldn’t but I know it was for a good cause.”
Oh man I remember it like it was yesterday. To the time Mary got shot to the time in the torture chamber, to the time it was good bye.” Flashback- She got shot
“Relax. Let me help you. Just follow my lead.” She was a girl that was cute. She had red long hair, about 5’7. She was a kind of tom boy in a way and was a little muscular but just slightly. It was still not enough to turn a boy off.
“Hmm, okay.” They were in a tunnel trying to get somewhere more in the mission. That is when a laser was pointing at her arm.
“Mary! Watch out!” Before he could budge her, it was too late. She fell to the ground trying to reach her gun but it was too far and that’s when she got shot again by Sniper Cougar. She couldn’t get up and she was in a pool of blood.
“Ash!”
“Ugh, save your energy! Damn it!”
“Ash! Listen, the only reason that I was here is to follow in my father’s foot steps. I wanted to be like him. I just didn’t know. I guess I was never meant to be in this army. Ugh, I guess I just slowed you down. Don’t forget me Ash.” She said as she was laying on the ground, shot in the arm a couple times, and on her legs in a pool of blood.
That’s when the boss called. It was the boss’s niece. He had to travel back to the other place and get the fun. There Ash went off taking last glance.
Flashback-The torture chamber
“Remember, if you don’t submit to the chamber, that Mary girl will be saved but if you do, then she will be a goner. I will keep that promise. “
That’s when they started the chamber. He was totally strapped down, the electricity coming through; it was okay at first because he had a Pikachu. Pikachu always shocked him, so it was not a big deal at all. But as they got to the higher numbers, that’s when he almost could have died. He finally gave in the last one they did, the last time.
“Ugh I give in!”
“Very well then.” The man said.
Flashback-The end of Mary
The end of the battle, that’s when he had to fight the enemy and leader of the other side. It was a wrestling match with it being timed. He had to beat it and possibly, he could save Mary. There she was lying on a track of electricity, unconscious.
They fought and fought until the leader of the other side fell off the place where they were, down pretty far. He ran to the unconscious girl hoping she would be alive. But there was no pulse. She was dead. The girl he fell in love with. She wasn’t there anymore. If only he saved her, there was a moment of sorry ness.
“I’m so sorry Mary. I couldn’t save you. I could have but it was my fault.”
“Damn!”
“Listen, it was Team Rocket’s fault with Genova as their old boss, he was the new one. Listen, I’m sorry about it.” His friend said. He was a partner in the battle against them too. He had light brown hair and was about 5’11. He was very muscular around his body. The man did leave someone behind too, a person named Jamie. It was nothing like his because she was part of the other team but still their true loves were lost.

That is when they have to leave. When they reached out they looked at their last good byes and headed off as all of the building collapsed.

“Oh Ash……….I don’t know what to say.”
“It’s okay Misty.”
“Still I don’t know what to say.”
“Misty, I know that these things happen but I, I don’t know.”
“Listen Ash. It will be okay. I promise! I will be there for you every step of the way!”
“Thanks so much Misty!”
“No problem Ash.” She gave him a Huge hug trying to comfort him. That is when rain started pouring down on them with drench. They were in the park, in the rain but that was okay. Nothing mattered at all at that point.
“Come on Misty. Lets go to my place.”
“Okay Ash.” There they grove back to the house.
“Ash? Ash! How is that possible?” His mother asked wondering if she was seeing a ghost.
“It’s a long story mom but I am here!”
“I thought you were gone.”
“I love you mom.”
“I love you.” Delia had dark brown hair, brown eyes, and was about 5’5 tall. **

“Misty, I, I don’t know. I guess I have to move on with my life. Although, it just happened about a half a year ago.
“Listen Ash, I know it’s hard but it will be okay. I promise. Eventually, you will move on but it will just take some time.”
“I know it wills Misty.”
They fell asleep peacefully and neither woke up until morning. Misty sleepily opened her eyes. She got out of the bed and gently made her way down stairs to where Mrs. Ketchum was making breakfast.
“Good Morning Misty!” Delia said with a big smiling face.
“Good morning Mrs. Ketchum!” She said in a gloomy voice.
“How are you dear?”
“Fine, you?”
“I’m fine but I’m still worried about Ash.”
“Oh, don’t worry Mrs. Ketchum. He will be fine.”
“Did you know about anything?”
“No. All I know that he was dead. That’s all I found out. He never told me anything after that. What is the story?”
“I’m sorry. But I can’t tell. It’s a long story.” “Please?”
“I’m sorry. But it will just upset you.”
“Well I guess then.”
“Yeah.”
“Well anyway I made eggs, sausage, and coffee. Can you wake up Ash please?”
“Sure hold on.” She walked up to his room. The house was small. She walked up the small staircase up to his room and got to Ash.
“Ash? It’s time to get up.” Misty took her hand and gently rocked him but he still didn’t budge, until he did.”
“Hmm, yeah?” He rubbed his eyes to get it out of the blurriness.
“Breakfast is ready.”
“Oh, that’s great! I will be right down.”
“Okay then. Pikachu?”
“Pi?” (Yeah?)
“Breakfast is ready.”
“Pi pi!” (Oh, great!) **
“Thanks mom!”
“Your welcome, sweetie!” After that, the bell rung. Ding Dong.
“I wonder who that could be.” Delia made her way to the end of the door. A red headed girl stood outside, slightly muscular, and about 5’7.
“Hi is Ash here?”
“Yeah, hold on.”
“Ash, you have someone here for you.”
“Hmm I wonder who that could be, maybe Brock.” Ash said.
“Ash.” The girl said.
“Mary?!”
“How’d you?”
“Don’t ask questions!” They ran and passionately kissed out the door. Misty headed over and saw.
“Who’s the girl?”
“Mary! I don’t know how she did it, but she is here!”
“And here is the happy ending everyone was hoping for.” Misty smiled and said.
Dear Ash,
How are you? I am doing fine too. I been taking care of the gym and everything, and been battling all the trainers that come to the gym. Maybe this is it. Everything is fine. I mean I am rich as much as you know it. So how is your traveling with Pokemon? I know that you started traveling again 3 months ago with Mary. She is a good person. I do like her. So I guess you and here will accomplish your dream together. She will guide you like I did with me and Brock. Have you heard from Brock lately? I wonder what he is up too. He did tell me though he finally got a girlfriend. Guess who, A officer Jenny. Well I guess that is okay.. Okay, Ash, well I hope you write back. Bye.
