Note: in Japan, they have different days for vanantines. one day where the 
girls have to run around for the guy & one day where the guys have to run 
around for thegirls. this is the day for the girls... i though i'd do it 
this coz it's more of a Japanese culture thingy, so i though it would be 
nicer... ~^_^~

p.s (   ) means poketranslation, so i don't have to keep typing 'pika' etc 
then explaining it. I'll just come straight out when pikachu talks for a 
long time.

It was valantinse day for the girls in kanto. The gang were staying at Ash's 
for a while. Misty was looking through the post that had just arrived, 
tutting at the annoyance of Ash, who had remained in his seat with his nose 
stuck in on of his favourite mangas, completly obliviouse - or so he 
pretended - to the fact that the post had come.
Misty tutted again, watching her friend laugh at something in the mag, & 
swept the loose bit of hair from her face - the usual bad morning hair phase 
- and picked up the pile of letters. A red envelope fell from the pile, as 
she flicked through them, and landed at pikachu's feet.
"Bills, bills, bills..."
"Pikachu - pika" pikachu said, tugging at Misty's pyjama bottoms, and 
holding out the mysterious letter and waving it about to catch her 
attention.
"Huh, oh, what's this pikachu?" she asked kindly, as she took it from her 
little yellow friend. She ripped it open, seeing it was addressed to her, 
and smiled quite amused yet confused at the content. "Hmm, it's a valentinse 
card from someone called Yoshki...It's funny. People always write to me, and 
yet I have no idea who they are..."
As looked up from his manga, quite breifly, then returend to it just as 
quickly.
Suddenly, pikachu lowered it's head and sighed. "What's the matter, 
pikachu?" Misty asked, looking concerned. "Chuu, pika, pika..." he sighed.
"Aww, pikachu's upset coz he didn't get a card. He didn't get anything tha 
last valantinse day..." Ash said, abandoning his comic and kneeling next to 
pikachu. "Don't worry. You've got the whole day, yet".
The day slowly passed by, and card after card came, but none for pikachu ( 
¬_¬ and if you're wondering, it's my little rule that it's not only people 
that get stuff on valantinse day, so there!)
The more the cards came. the sadder pikachu became.
"Mabe a walk, or a play on the beach will cheer you up" Ash suggested. 
Pikachu agreed. There was no use mopeing around the house all day.

On the beach, Misty watched togepi play in a rock pool, while Ash went for a 
swim in the sea. Pikachu sat happliy building a sand castle. It always made 
him feel better when he was down. Suddenly, he pricked his ears to 
attention. A young girl about Ash's age came onto the beach, with her own 
pikachu, only this pikachu had a little pink sea flower in its little tuft 
of hair. It was a GIRL pikachu! Pikachu looked up from his sand castle, and 
blushed slightly. He watched the other pikachu jump around playfully with 
its owner for a while, before plucking up enough courage to go and say a 
quick hello. (Hiya!) he smiled, giving a little shy wave.
(Hiya) the little pikachu replyed, just as shy as our little friend was.
(Sooo, uh, do you come to the beach often?) pikachu said.
(Sometimes. We've not long moved here, so I havn't been around much).
(Uhh,hey, do you want to come and meet my trainer?) pikachu asked, blushing 
and putting his little paw at the back of his head as his eyes made direct 
conatct with his new friends.
(Sure, that would be great. Hey, then you can meet my owner. She's just gone 
to get some icecream. She'll be back soon).
Pikachu took his new friends hand and took her over to Ash, who was now 
sitting on a beach towel. "Hey, who's you're new friend pikachu?" Ash asked 
with interest. He didn't know anyone else that owned a pikachu here in 
Pallet. Pikachu was about to introduce his new friend when Misty came 
bounding over with some icecream. "Hey Ash, I'd like you to meet my new 
friend Lydia. She's just moved here" she smiled. It wasn't often that she 
had a chance to mix with other girls, seeing as her two best friends were 
boys and the fact that they travel around alot. (speaking of which, as it is 
valentinse day, Brock's usual fall in love and get crushed routine has taken 
a particular hard blow, and he is in his room at Ash's sulking.)
Ash introduced himself and his pikachu. "Ohh, you have a pikachu, too? 
That's good, huh Sakura?" Lydia asked her little companion. "Pritty name!" 
Misty smiled, but then she immdeiantly turned to Ash before he even had a 
chance to open his mouth and said that Sakura was just a pet and didn't 
battle. Ash grumbled slightly and stuffed his hand into his shirt pockets.
Misty ignored him and carried on with the conversation between her and 
Lydia. "You see, we've not long moved into pallet, and most of the time 
Sakura's been hiding in my room. This is the first time she's acctualy came 
out properly."
"She must like pikachu! chuckled Misty.
"I guess she does" Lydia smiled, as both pikachu blushed and nuzzled their 
heads into each others. Then they went off to the rock pool with togepi and 
played with her for a while. "Togepriiii! she chirrped, happy now that she 
had someone new to play with.

The day passed a little too soon for pikachu's liking - doesn't that always 
happen, only when you're enjoying yourself? -
"Come on Sakura, it's time to go" Lydia called.
"Chaaa" sighed Sakura sadly.
(Ohh, can she stay just abit longer?) pikachu asked sadly.
"Don'ty worry, we only live down the road from Ash, so you can see each 
other as often as you like" Lydia smiled.
Sakura turned to pikachu, took the flower from her hair and gave it to him. 
(Here's a little valantinse gift from me) she said shyly. The, she ran off 
to catch up with Lydia.
"Chuu..." pikchu sighed, watching Sakura untill she was out of sight.
"You know Ask, I think pikachu's in love" cooed Misty.
"Yeah, I guess so" replied Ash, looking at his little yellow pal, who was 
smiling cutely and blushing.
"Well pikachu, you've found a new friend, got a valantinse gift, and 
possibly even a new girlfriend..." Ash chuckled.
"Awww, I bet this is the best and only valantinse day pikachu has ever had" 
Misty smiled.
