Hyper Beam Vs Machine Gun Authors Note: This is my first fan-fic. Just so you know, I am thirteen (at the time of writing), I live in England, and I have loved Pokemon for as long as I can remember! I doubt she'll ever read this, but thanks to Dannichu for inspiring me to write a fan-fic of my own. Oh, and by the way, if anyone wants to email me suggestions, 20 random phrases to include, etc, please do. danny.adams62@hotmail.co.uk. ***************************************************************************** ***************************************************************************** ** Introduction 'What do you mean, they try to catch us? In balls? And force us to fight! Well, i'm not going to be caught. What they say about pokemon being companions... They've no right to take us away from our friends! It's high time someone stopped them!' The Dratini said, outraged. She and her mother were resting in a small crater at the bottom of Lake Verity. A few blue, glowing lines surrounded Dratini as he healed his cut tail with Aqua Ring. His mother laughed. 'Well, no trainer will catch us down here!' 'But what about the ones that are caught! Someone needs to do something...' A few months later The forest was waking up. Light had begun to seep through the dense trees, and the air was pierced with the cries of Pigeotto. The two humans were making their way slowly, peering behind logs and clearing grass as they searched for pokemon. One was a man, wearing a camoflaged coat and matching trousers. At his side was a Vespiquen. The other human was a boy of about ten. He was clutching an ultra ball, and was peering around at the forest with a sense of wonder. 'I caught my first pokemon here too', the father said, stopping to peer up a large tree. His only responce was a large dropping that narrowly missed him. 'Will it be happy to see me?' The boy enquired, suppressing a giggle. His father was about to reply when the Vespiquen gave an exited buzz and flew over to a short, robust tree. 'Well done Vesper!' the man exclaimed, throwing it a pokeblock and turning to his son. 'Here it is then. Are you ready? When the pokemon comes out, you throw the ball like we practised. Now, Power Gem!' At these words the Vespiquen buzzed, and half a dozeb glowing rocks seemed to form in the air. With great force, they flew at the tree, causing it the shake and quiver. There was an angry cry form within its branches- and a Pineco leapt out. The boy raised his ultra ball, but stopped abruptly as a long arm snatched him away. His father yelled out and wheeled around, the Pineco forgotton. With a almighty bang, it exploded, the blast killing the man instantly. The Vespiquen gave a startled buzz and drifed away into the forest. The boy barely had time to scream as a Power Whip smacked him round the face, and he fell to the floor, unseeing.
