'Welcome to Johto News Network's six O' clock update. A boy, aged 10, and a man, aged 42, have been found dead in Ilex forest. The two were trekking through the forest with the intention of capturing a pokemon, when a stray pokemon explosion occured, killing the man. The boy was found several feet away, with a severe blow to the head, caused by the attack Power Whip. The cause of the explosion was an agitated Pineco, experts say. Who is responsible for the Power Whip? Over to you, John.' Thanks Melinda. I'm here in Ilex forest, meters away from the scene. The strange thing is though, these incidents are getting more and more common. Pokemon caused deaths rose by 16% since October, and one has to wonder whether this is the cause of a trainer, or trainers, or the pokemons own free will...' Davis turned the TV off, trying not too look at his Vileplume, who was sitting next to him. Pokemon attack humans? It was almost unheard off. Since the Cipher Incident, shadow pokemon were almost extinct, thanks to the Orre Pokemon Lab. David turned to his Vileplume. It was glaring at the TV, and a few poison spores drifted of it. 'Don't worry, their not blaming you for these incidents', David soothed, passing it a Poffin. He glanced at the clock. It was almost time for him to go. 'Come on, we should be off.' He returned Vileplume to its pokeball and grabbed his keys off the table. Were pokemon really to blame for the recent attacks? And if so, why? He stepped outside, and gazed up at the moon. It was a still, perfect night. Silent. He grabbed a pokeball and hurled it. A Staraptor appeared. 'Fly, Staraptor!' The Pokemon Catching show was getting underway. David and his friends watched from the viewing binoculers, chatting about the pokemon they were about to see. A large plate of nachos was balanced on the window ledge. Below, the crowd was suddenly became silent, as a Steelix appeared outside. David gasped. It was huge, a giant, metal beast. Its red eyes seemed to burn a hole through the wall. Dvid was glad they were behind glass. It reared, but just then there was a flash of light, and it was sucked into a Park ball. David cheered along with everyone else. Outside, the trainer turned to face the crowd, his grin unmissible evern in the night. And just like that, triumph turned to terror. There was a collosol bang, and a rock flew like a comet the strike the trainer in the head. He crumpled instantly, a pool of blood spreading over the grass. Then a Ryperior appeared, and the screaming started. David ducked as a deafining crack split the night. People were running in all directions. The Ryperior was firing rocks at the building. David sprinted towards the door, barging through the riot. suddenlt he was thrown to the floor as a fissure divided the room apart. He stared up at ceiling, his mouth opening for a scream as it caved in. Outside, a Ryperiot turned and disappeared into the night.
