Well, I'm new to this, so I don't know how to do the extra stuff of fanfiction. I don't even know if the file got attached or not. But I've seen this in nearly every fanfic, so a disclaimer. General. Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. Isaac is me, but other than that I don't own Pokemon. ((rats)) Part 1 The Outcast Part I The rain was pouring down in heavy sheets, pounding the Seviper. The snake had no idea where he was, just that he needed to go back. 'What the heck...where am I?' it thought to himself. He felt he was knocked out for weeks. The last recollection of his memories were -Flashback- "Come on, Seviper! BITE!!" his master, Greg had told it. It was a battle, it's first one for Seviper, but not for Greg. It seemed to be in a tournament, because he wasn't in his regular town of Old Dale anymore. "Go Seviper!" Greg cried as Seviper materialized in a rocky floor within a large stadium packed with people. The Seviper gave a menacing hiss. "Go! Rhydon!" The other trainer said. A large, rock beast...thing materialized. Greg cursed to himself. "There goes my title," Greg mumbled bitterly. 3 on 3, and both were on their last Pokemon. That wasn't good in Greg's case, but he wanted to at least tie. "Unfortunately, my Seviper is too weak to do much against a rock type," he mumbled a little too loud. Loud enough for Seviper to hear it. The viper was deeply hurt, but didn't say anything, determined to take out the stress in battle. "BITE!! BITE!! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT THE **** THAT IS?!?" Greg roared in frustration. Seviper just looked back, confused. "BITE IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, LIKE YOU WOULD WITH A RATATA!!" Seviper wasn't well trained, Greg just worked it too hard. Since it didn't get much sparring with others of it's kind, the Seviper wasn't gaining levels anytime soon. Seviper attempted to bite the Rhydon, but the Rhydon punched Seviper. It fell back thirty feet, nearly knocked out. Determined to get up, Seviper grunted with effort. It managed to get back up on it's uh...feet and seemed to have some energy left. "Seviper! Crunch attack now!" Greg had yelled. Seviper didn't know that either. Rhydon slammed his tail onto Seviper, and Seviper knocked out. Greg placed 132nd, not even passing the filter rounds of the tournament. -End Flashback- Seviper looked around at it's surroundings. He wasn't even in the most distant places of Houen anymore. He was in a different region, for sure. 'Where's Greg? Maybe he's teaching me a lesson?' Seviper thought. Suddenly, a pack of dog-like things with skulls appeared out of nowhere from the bushes. "Hound! Houndour! Grrrrrr...fresh snake meat. But what is it?" the alpha male asked. "Perhaps a goofed up Arbok?" One said. Houndour? Arbok? None of these names made any sense. And where was Greg? "it must taste good nonetheless, ATTACK!" the houndours surrounded Seviper. Seviper hissed menacingly, but it was all a bluff. If the Houndours caught on, it'd be all over for him. The rain suddenly stopped, and the sun shone brightly through the woods Seviper was in. "HISSSSS!!! SSSS-eviper! HISS!!" it seemed to drive the young dogs back a few feet, but after a period of just hissing and not a single attack, the pack dove in. Claws, fangs and blood were everywhere, created a huge dust cloud. Seviper tried its best to hold off the dogs impaling it, but soon it was knocked out. The snake gave one mighty hiss before it went unconscious. **** Isaac held his head low, depressed. He was also trying to hide the tears in his eyes from people watching him. Isaac had brown eyes and dark hair, around 5'3" in height. He was 12 years old, and still wasn't able to start on his Pokemon quest. He walked home, failing to get a starter, again. "I can't believe Professor Ivy ran out of starters...again. Thanks to the new "reservation rule." It's for people with money...and I don't have money. Auctioning off Pokemon, what kind of rule is that?" Isaac mumbled to himself bitterly, kicking a rock on the road. He had been given a pokeball instead of being able to get a Pokemon. "A pokeball, what a joke. Like I can just pick a ratata and catch it. They're just wasting money," he mumbled again. "HIISSSSSSS!!" he heard from within the woods of New Bark Town. "could that be? An Ekans? Maybe even...Arbok?" Isaac thought hopefully. "it sounds like it's badly weakened, perhaps a last cry of death, I better go check it out." Isaac ran through the woods, allowing the branches to cut into his face. He went towards the sound of the hiss of desperation. He couldn't believe his eyes at what he saw. Five Houndours, fangs bared, ready to eat a...snake. The snake was huge, maybe 10 feet long. It had streaks of green and huge fangs. "What the heck is that thing? O well it's a Pokemon that's for sure. Maybe I can catch it. It looks pretty strong" Then he heard the growls of the hungry Houndour. "O my goodness, the Houndour's gonna eat that...thing! Holy ****! Back! Back! Off with you mutts!" he picked up a large stick from the ground, scaring the Houndours. They ran off quickly. "that was a quick getaway," Isaac thought to himself. He saw the magnificent viper, with huge gashes and cut marks all over it's long body. "That needs to go to a Pokemon Center, but it's in the next town. Only Professor Ivy can take care of it. But...I can't lift this snake up on my own." An idea flashed through his head. "the pokeball..." To Be Continued... My first fic. Send my review on Gotrice6321@hotmail.com.
