The Outcast Part 6 General Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon. From last where we left off, pretty much all of Johto and Kanto met at the city limits of Goldenrod, ready to fight off Team Rocket. ACTION The curtains were closed all around Giovanni's office, hiding all the light. Two guards stood at his doorway, ready to fight off any intruders. He had found out about the tracking device, and knew that Nancy was part of this. He was enraged, and had to switch headquarters. But, his plan was underway. His regular phone rang. "What is it?" "Sir." One of his scientists. "Plan Burial is underway. I have to warn you about the consequences of this though. Even though Team Rocket will be safe," There was a pause. Even the scientist knew not all of Team Rocket would be able to fit in the bomb shelter they'd be hiding in. "even though we'll be safe, the side effects can be dangerous. We would need all the magma underneath the Earth's surface to completely bury Earth of its inhabitants. However, magma is the structure our planet is floating on. If that's gone, Earth could collapse without magma to support it up. Then, the force would kill us right away since the Earth would crash right into its core. The collision would be so great, Earth would fall clear off it's orbit. Then we'd have no chance to survive." Giovanni could care less whether he died or not. He knew Team Rocket's time was up, he was completely aware that Team Rocket could not hope to outlast the sudden increase in technology. He didn't want his organization to go down without a fight, a final show to signify Team Rocket was here. Even if it meant nobody was left to admire it. His great organization was at its peak with three million men ready to listen to his every great command. Now, he had only 15,000 left. Either they were caught or killed, or quit. His 15,000 would hold off the League's forces long enough for the scientist to create massive earthquakes in every volcano on Earth. The seismic activity would cause it to erupt. He also had long tubes, miles in length that dug into the surface, right to the magma. He would shoot that out. The whole process would take weeks, and nobody could stop it. Only about 400 men and 10,000 Pokemon ((for food)) would go with him to a mega base waiting it out. It would survive all the magma that would bury it. Then, they'd bulldoze out and watch the remainders of the Earth. Afterwards, they'd breed rapidly and the whole world would be only Team Rocket. Only evil. That is, until the Earth collapsed on itself. Then Earth would be destroyed. He only did this to exercise his power. HE had the power to collapse the world. HIM and ONLY him. His thoughts were interrupted rudely, when one of his grunts sent him a message on his pager. It was a code 66. The League posed as a threat. He'd have to use the last of his grunts and even some of his elites to throw themselves in a suicide battle, buying him enough time to follow through with his plan. He phoned his scientist. "Follow through. There's no turning back now." "Sir!" "DO AS I SAY!!" his voice was so dark, so cold, so emotionless yet there was such anger. The scientist closed the line, and he began the systematic sequence of events that'd soon destroy the world. **** The 500 or so trainers ((they were a lot less than the League expected. After the trainers found out about the danger, most turned back)) hiked down a path. "Team Rocket will easily blow our forces away, we're nothing." Nancy said to herself darkly. Isaac overheard that last comment. "Nancy, we'll be fine. It's not always quantity; it could be quality as well." Isaac advised. "Sometimes, it's so unbalanced, quantity would knock quality off." Nancy's words made Isaac think for a while. "Then why are we following through with this?" He asked. "Because if we don't, our slim chance of rescuing the Earth would be stomped and spit upon. I want to die knowing I did something." Nancy said. "Me too." Isaac and Mike said in unison. "Let's do this!" Nancy was the squad leader of Isaac and Mike. Then, when the battle started, the squad would break down and Isaac, Mike and Nancy would be the squad leaders of their Pokemon. When the Pokemon were released, there would be almost quadruple the amount of battlers in the fighting lines. After several more hours of walking, Mike started to complain. Isaac never liked complainers, and considering his life was on the line, his mood wasn't the cheeriest. "Dang...are we going to Pallet Town to fight Giovanni or something? This is getting really long and irritating. I think we'll all collapse before we can even battle." Mike gave a sigh. Isaac got fed up really quickly. He punched Mike on the arm. Mike got the hint, and he shut up. "Rockets approaching! 1000 strong at least! Prepare for battle! Break down squads!" One man at the head of the herd of the awkward humans shouted out commands. Quickly, every trainer from every city released his or her Pokemon. The noise of Pokemon materializing and their cries were deafening. Isaac barely heard his Fearow, Pineco and Seviper come out. "Charge! Fight at will! To Victory!!" The same man shouted above all the noise, with help of a megaphone. "Good luck! Meet you at the end of this!" Nancy said. "Later Mike! Take out some Rockets!" "See ya Isaac, hope you live through his one!" The Headquarters loomed ahead, just a mere office building. Yet it held so much power. It seemed to be in no city, just sandwiched between wherever two cities they were in. Isaac had been walking so long, he had no idea where he was. A Rocket and his squad of three Pokemon approached him. "A good warm-up, and then on to the real deals here," Isaac thought to himself. "Electrode! Magmar! Flareon!" The Rocket called out. "Fang! Take the Electrode! Fearow! The Magmar! Pineco! The Flareon!" Fang wrapped and injected its deadly poison into the pokeball-like Pokemon and Fearow pecked furiously at the Magmar. Pineco used Take Down on Flareon and exploded. "Good! Moving on!" Isaac was supposed to finish the Rocket and kill him, but he just couldn't. He'd let the other League members do that. One man charged towards Isaac, one heck of a large guy with bulging muscles. He had six Tauros with him. Seeing the danger, he recalled Pineco and Seviper and hopped on Fearow and took off to the air. Isaac saw the grim details of the battle. The Rockets vastly outnumbered the League, and the League was getting its butt kicked. They were constantly losing battles, and the Nurse Joys that were stationed just behind the lines could barely keep up. The Rockets had chosen to fight on a vast field; there was not a single tree for miles. Isaac saw Falkner fighting another Rocket. Both were on their Pidgeots. Falkner called out his Fearow and the Rocket called out his Farfetch'd. He saw the Falkner's Fearow was getting creamed. He couldn't stand to watch. "Fearow, use Wing Attack on the Rocket! Go!" His eagle-like Pokemon shot through the air, towards the Rocket and his Pidgeot. Isaac gripped the bases of Fearow's large wings to balance him. He was at least two thousand feet in the air. Just yards from his target, another Rocket appeared, barely holding on to a Beedrill. "Beedrill! Poison Sting!" Beedrill's huge stingers charged towards Isaac. "Fearow! Classic shoot up, loop attack from behind trick I taught ya. Go for it!" Just at the last minute, before colliding into Beedrill, Isaac's Fearow shot straight up, looped in a backwards arch and struck the confused Rocket. He fell off the Beedrill. "That'll be a painful landing," Isaac thought to himself. Silently, he prayed for the lost soul. The Beedrill tried it's best to rescue his master, but it was cut off by a Pidgeotto from another trainer. Isaac was now so far up; he didn't even see where the Rocket landed. It was then Isaac realized how many people were up in the air, dotting the clear sky. "Fearow! Swoop down, attack the guts gig!" Isaac said. "Get that Pidgeot! Falkner needs our help!" Fearow shot down like a falling rock, then swooped right back up to strike the Rocket's Pidgeot. The Pidgeot was thrown off, almost throwing the Rocket off. Almost. He caught himself, and the Pidgeot steadied. "Isaac?" Falkner said. "Nice memory you got on ya. Fearow! Peck the Pidgeot! Now! Falkner, let your Pidgeot take a breather, or call out another Pokemon. I think this guy's a elite." "That's right," The Rocket said. "Any last words?" "The last words you'll ever hear! Fearow! Peck!" Fearow charged at incredible speeds, almost throwing Isaac right off. Fearow slammed its hard, sharp beak into Pidgeot's left wing. The Pidgeot flew in circles, and lost altitude. Fearow took this opportunity to dive down, dropping the Pidgeot even more. Fearow kept doing this before Pidgeot completely lost control and dropped the Rocket. Fearow hit Pidgeot's side before it could rescue its master. "Skarmory! Go! Take out that Pidgeot!" Some other trainer relieved him of his position, and he was glad. "Fearow, swoop down to ground level." It was like a roller coaster, only it was more real. Soon, Fearow was scattering confused Rockets all over the place, and dodging all the hits that were fired onto it. Isaac worked his way, with Fearow inches off the ground, towards the League's lines. When he was finally safe behind the ranks of his fellow trainers, Isaac took a breather. He looked up, and saw Falkner fighting another Rocket. Isaac also noticed his Fearow was very tired from the three consecutive battles. "Fearow, take a breather. Fang! Pineco!" He released his two other Pokemon, eager for battle. "Come on, back to battle!" He ran passed the line, and fought a Rocket there with a Raticate and Arbok. His Pokemon crushed the Rocket's. This was getting easier for Isaac, but he noticed otherwise. Rockets all over were finishing off Pokemon of their adversaries. He saw Nancy, with Tauros and Charmeleon out and Graveller looking exhausted. He also noticed a Machoke and Primeape were both ganging up on it. Nancy looked terrified. "Fang! Pineco! Help Nancy out!" Isaac said. He ran over to Nancy's side, and Seviper wrapped both Machoke and Primeape. The Rocket looked stunned at Isaac's unique Houenn Pokemon, but still tried his best to get Machoke and Primeape out of their predicament. It was too late; Machoke and Primeape were long knocked out. Nancy's Graveller hurled itself on the Rocket, making a sickening, crunching sound as rock met bone. Isaac turned away. It was then he realized how real war was. He noticed the cried and screams of Pokemon everywhere, dying without any hope. He even heard trainers in agony, breathing their last breath, not even being able to see their families again one last time. Isaac began to sob huge globs of tears, and his Pokemon tried to comfort him. He managed to stop himself when he noticed how sad his Pokemon felt, and noticed Mike in a tight spot. Only his Parasect was left, and Muk, Weezing and Arbok ganged it up. "Fang! Poison Tail!" The Rocket didn't see it coming. Before he knew it, Weezing was out, filled with poison and taken over by shock. "Poison Tail again!" Muk was out. "Try this one! Poison Fang!" This time, Seviper bit down on Arbok, injecting great amounts of poison. All three Pokemon were gone, and a League Official killed the Rocket the same way Nancy did, with a Graveller. "God no...No...Oh my God, someone just died in front of me." Mike was starting to feel the shock of war. "Don't brood," The League Official said. "It's sad and hard to go through, but there's battling to be done. If we leave them be, they'll be doing this to your family! Go out there and stop them!" That motivated Isaac and Mike enough to rejoin the lines, which miraculously seemed to be advancing. The Rockets just weren't experienced enough to take out all the trainers. Isaac was right, quality over quantity. All the good signs of this battle were crushed, when a flood of Rockets came from three directions. Reinforcements. The little they were battling was only the tip of the iceberg. There was no way they'd win this. When the Rockets released their Pokemon, it was obvious the League was totally outnumbered. He saw Nancy again, right after she killed yet another Rocket. "Nancy! Look!" He shouted over to her, pointing towards the fat, bulging lines of Rockets. "We'll need reinforcements of our own, or we'll never win this! Nancy smiled. "Here comes the cavalry." She pointed behind the direction Isaac was facing. Isaac saw a huge battalion of Ponytas and Rapidashes mounted by League Officials. "That's what I call a lifesaver, I'm guessing we were saving them for last?" Isaac asked, watching in awe at the countless Ponytas. His thoughts were broken, when he heard a low rumbling from his feet. The Earth was shaking! "Earthquake! Watch out!" Isaac glanced to his left, and saw a mountain far off, several miles away, was near eruption. Smoke was coming out, and magma started to leak. "Whoa! Team Rocket's plan is going through! We've got to stop them! Aerial Strike!" Nancy said. League Officials repeated this to everyone, and people called out their bird Pokemon. "The Ponyta will fight off Team Rocket for now, but everyone with a bird Pokemon needs to fly up and go for their HQ!" Nancy cried out. "You don't have a flying Pokemon though," Isaac commented. "Isaac's right, how are you gonna come with us?" Mike asked. Isaac could tell he was disappointed. Isaac really wanted Nancy to come, since her Pokemon were way better than Mike's and his combined. "Watch, I have a Dragonair I use for emergency purposes." Nancy pulled out a necklace Isaac and Mike saw for the first time. At the end of it, there was a minimized pokeball. "Dragonair! Go!" A Dragonair popped out. "This was my starter, it took my parents years to get one. Mike, you don't have a flying type, hop on!" It was then Mike noticed he didn't have a bird Pokemon. He gladly jumped on Dragonair's snake-like body. Isaac called out his Fearow. "Be careful, Team Rocket will use bird Pokemon of their own. Now go for it!" Nancy gave out a war cry, and Isaac followed suit. They took off to the air, along with several other trainers, with the Ponyta battalion covering them. The aerial assault was going smoothly, several dozen people flew around and released other flying Pokemon and charged towards Team Rocket HQ. Isaac thought this would go smoothly. They'd land, break in and force Giovanni to stop the eruptions. Eruptions. Isaac remembered the near erupting volcano and looked over and saw that the volcano had already erupted, spilling out hundreds of gallons of magma. He also saw a humongous tube at the base of the mountain, pumping out magma as well. Giovanni really wanted the magma out. "Come on Fearow! Faster!" Since Fearow had time to rest, it was going pretty strong. It advanced in the lines. Several trainers had hopped behind a Bird Catcher's Pidgeot or Fearow, and released their weaker bird types like Pidgey and Farfetch'd. Suddenly, Rockets darted around with Pokemon of their own. Several trainers were held back as the Rockets appeared to be flinging their Pokemon against the trainer's. Almost like kamikazes. Isaac understood their real purpose; to hold off the League long enough so the plan could follow through. "Fearow, you HAVE to outmaneuver those Rockets, or else we'll be caught back. I don't want the strike force at HQ to not have me there!" Fearow easily dodged through the generous Rocket lines. Shoot up, dodge left, scoot down, zip down; the maneuvering was easy. Nancy's Dragonair seemed to be doing well too; along with Falkner and some other trainers Isaac never met. One trainer stuck out for some reason. "Come on! Charizard! Flamethrower! WAAUGGH!! That's a nasty looking Fearow. Ok! Go for it! If you fail, back to the PC you go!" This trainer was harsh. Isaac decided to help it out. The trainer had brown curly hair reaching down to his ears and looked about Isaac's age. "Let's help this kid out! Fearow! Knock the Rocket off!" Fearow threw itself on the Rocket, who lost his balance. His Fearow tried rescuing him successfully but gave the curly haired trainer enough time to move on. "Nice meeting you, what's your name?" the mysterious trainer asked. "Mine's Isaac, and you?" "Greg." The word hit him like a mallet. 'No, it couldn't be Greg. Not the one that abandoned Seviper. Even though he seemed a little harsher than most trainers. It was just a little bit. No way.' "You're not...Greg Bonnie by any chance are you?" "In fact, I am. Why? Have we met?" Isaac was mad. How could someone abandon such a great Pokemon like Seviper? The NERVE! Isaac let loose on the words. "YOU SON OF A B****! HOW COULD YOU ABANDON YOUR F****** SEVIPER! YOU BAS****!" "Whoa, dude, calm down. You've seen the Seviper before?" Before Isaac could answer, another Rocket appeared just feet away from crashing. Both dodged just on time. "Talk to you later, take out the anger on the Rockets!" Greg flew off. Isaac lost a lot of space between Nancy and Mike. He'd have to go double time if he hoped to catch up. "Fearow! Agility! Boost your speed, and catch up to Nancy, I can see them up ahead battling a Rocket!" Within a few minutes, Fearow flew up to Nancy's side. Nancy just finished the Rocket. "We're the only ones that made it." Nancy said. "Everyone else fell, or is still battling the Rockets." Isaac saw Nancy, a guy on a Skarmory, someone on a Pidgeot, Falkner and Greg. He hated Greg's guts, but he had a planet to save. "Let's do this. Koga and Jasmine snuck past the lines, and they're waiting for us behind that hill," Nancy paused to point at a steep hill just beside the HQ, "And we'll be the strike force. The idea is to bust our way through to the top, most likely where Giovanni is, and then once we're there we'll force him to stop. If he disagrees, we kill him and take the scientists. They'll most likely cooperate." "Got it," Everyone said, and they took off for the hills. Isaac took this time to find the names of the Skarmory trainer. His name was Gordon. He had his hair gelled up, and wore a green T-shirt and jeans. The trainer of the Pidgeot was a little older than Isaac, and really buff. His name was Will. When they landed, Koga and Jasmine were there. Isaac let Fearow rest after the hard flying it had to do. "Sir, my squad is fine. One is taking a rest, two ready to battle," Isaac reported in to Jasmine. Jasmine was covered head to toe in ninja outfits like Koga, and he only saw her green eyes. She nodded in approval. "Don't call out your Pokemon until you have to," Koga said, "We're gonna sneak the best we can before we have to battle. We'll go right through the front door." The nine trainers that had made past the Rocket lines crept on the tall weeds that provided cover. "Good luck," To Be Continued... I was going to write the break-in during this part, but it was getting to almost eight pages on size 10 font. I had to break it up.
