Rival Trainers Battle Clash!
Chapter 4

Well, here we are, Chapter 4. The guys(being Jeff and Nathan) have set off 
for Skyhigh City and for their first GYM. But in order to reach it, they've 
got to walk a long path and then cross through the small-but-dangerous 
Bloody Rose Forest. How are they faring? Let's check in with them now...

I was so excited as Nathan and I headed down the path to Skyhigh City. I 
was finally living my dream of being a Pokémon Trainer.
"Wow, Nathan, isn't this exciting?" I asked.
"Yeah, if you think walking along an endless trail is fun." he remarked.
"Oh, c'mon, we'll find some Pokémon soon."
But a couple hours later, we hadn't found any Pokémon. We were starting to
become discouraged. Nathan even suggested turning back. But we pressed 
onward. Then I spotted something in the distance.
"Hey, you see that?" I asked.
"Yeah, it looks like a house. Why don't we head over and see if we can get
any food?" Nathan suggested.
So we headed over to it. Upon closer inspection, we discovered that it 
wasn't just a house, but a farm as well. It had a barn and a silo. Nathan 
stepped onto the porch and knocked on the dusty screen door. But we didn't 
get an answer. He knocked again. Still no answer. I headed over to the barn,
and peeked inside.
"Wow!" I yelled. Inside the barn was a herd of Tauros! Nathan heard my yell
and ran over. We figured that since the place was deserted, these Tauros
were up for capture. I unclipped a PokéBall from belt...
...only to have it knocked out of my hand by a flying rock! I spun around
and went face to face with a very attractive but very angry looking girl.
"Hey, what's the big idea?" I asked her.
She glared at me. "You know what the big idea is. You thieves are trying to
steal our Tauros!" she accused.
"Who, us? Pokémon thieves?" Nathan asked. "I think you've got us pegged 
wrong. See...."
He was cut off in mid-sentence by the girl throwing a PokéBall out. A
Jigglypuff popped out.
"Whoa, a Jigglypuff!" I said, grinning. Jigglypuff was one of my favorites.
"Jigglypuff, Mega Punch!" the girl instructed. The Jigglypuff jumped up and
slammed it's tiny fist right in my face with surprising impact. I fell to 
the ground.
"Owwwwwww!" I rubbed my face. I stood back up. "So, it's a battle you want,
is it?" I drew out the PokéBall containing Farfetch'd and threw it to the 
ground. He appeared, twirling his leek.
"Get ready Farfetch'd, this is one mean Jigglypuff!" I said. Farfetch'd 
took up a ready stance. The battle was about to begin...
