The Natural Pokemon Instinct

Part 2:

After spending the day with Brock and Charmander evolving in the middle of 
the
night, I was on my way to Mt. Moon. There seemed to be a few challenges on 
the way
there, I had no trouble though. I just used Charmelleon, most of their 
pokemon were
just average level 13 Pidgeys, and Spearows.

                                10 Minutes Later

I finally arrived at Mt. Moon, Charmelleon grew 2 levels to level 19. I went 
to the
Pokemon centre that was stationed just to the left of the entrance to Mt. 
Moon. After
having get all my pokemon to full strength. I entered Mt. Moon. I saw a 
trainer just in
front of me with a very bruised Clefairy. I went over to it and gave it one 
of my
potions, I then asked the trainer what had happened. The trainer said that 
her and her
Clefairy were making their way to Cerulean City when at the exit of Mt. Moon 
there
was a Team Rocket member. It challenged them and it not only defeated 
Clefairy, but
used a extremely fierce “magnitude 7” move. I also got hit, but not half as 
bad as
Clefairy. I was on my way out, but then my knees gave way and I fell to the 
ground,
as I was getting up I saw you enter the cave and approached me. “Arghhh” 
Jamie said
in anger. I will get him back for you.

                               15 Minutes Later

I finally arrived at the exit of Mt. Moon. I then saw the Team Rocket thug. 
I saw he
had a Onix with him. I checked my advanced pokedex to find that it was at an
incredibly high level 30. I had, had some battles on the way here using all 
my
pokemon and getting them all up 1 level each, however my chances of winning 
were
very thin. I was going to challenge him anyway, but I then thought of what 
happened
to the girl I met at the entrance of Mt. Moon. I knew that after she lost he 
still attacked
her Clefairy and even her. So I had no other choice but to train more, I 
went around
Mt. Moon for about 20 minutes challenging and making friends with lots of 
trainers.

Poke-Status:

Butterfree (level 18)
Charmelleon (level 23)
Beedrill (level 18)
Rattata (level 16)
Wartortal (level 19)

I then came back to the exit, I challenged the Team Rocket thug. He 
graciously
accepted, or that’s how he described it anyway. I first summoned my level 18
Butterfree. I decided to use sleep powder on the Onix, it attacked first 
however and
used rock smash. Butterfree barely was able to use sleep powder, then it 
fainted. I
switched it for my Wartortal and got Wartortal to use Water Gun. It knocked 
a
staggering 30hp off the Onix, which in total had 60hp. But it then woke up 
and in a
furious rage used Bind.  Wartortal almost fainted. It just had enough for 
one more
water gun, but Onix dodged it and used tackle. Without Wartortal I didn’t 
know if I
had a chance, I switched to Rattata, although it isn’t very strong it is 
very quick, I
made it use Quick Attack and then dodge the Onix’s tackle attack. It then 
used Quick
Attack, but then got knocked out by the viscous Magnitude 7. I had a choice 
to use
either level 23 Charmelleon or level 18 Beedrill. I knew Beedrill would have 
less of a
Type disadvantage being as Charmelleon was a fire type, and was hardly 
effective
again Onix’s Rock type body. I only had to knock off 15 hp, because of 
Rattata’s
Quick Attack Techniques. I chose Beedrill and made it use its Fury Swipe 
technique,
which hardly done anything. It only knocked 2hp off making Onix’s total 
health 13.
Onix used to my dislike, Magnitude 7 yet again. Despite that I like the move 
it done
the job. Now it was 1 on 1, Charmelleon vs Onix, Charmelleon was able to use 
ember ,
which was extremely strong. Actually knocked off a margin of 12 hp. Onix was 
just
about to use Magnitude 7, but Charmelleon used Flamethrower, which not only 
burnt
threw the rocks from the Magnitude 7 but also, the ground. Before 
Charmelleon could
hit Onix, Onix and the Team Rocket Thug ran away. I then finally made it to 
Cerulean
City.

I rushed to the pokemon centre and healed all of my pokemon.
