Part 7

After everything that happened in the Diglett’s cave me and Ash decided to 
battle Lt.
Surge in the Vermillion City Gym. Ash battled him first with his Pikachu, he 
won, but
it was strategy. Ash knew Raichu’s weak point, its speed compared to 
Pikachu. So
Pikachu used Agility and Quick Attack a lot, Ash knew he couldn’t beat Lt. 
Surge
with electric attacks. However I have completely different Pokemon then Ash 
and all
at completely different levels. My Pikachu was no where near the level that 
Ash’s
Pikachu is. I decided to use my Charizard, I thought that it was a done 
deal, a Raichu
just couldn’t compete against a Charizard. But later on during the fight, I 
noticed that
Lt. Surge’s Raichu was a very different then normal Raichu’s, its experience 
in battle
is untouchable, so I got my Charizard to go all out, but ended up winning 
with
Butterfree. Butterfree was a last resort, because it was probably the one 
Pokemon that
doesn’t need training, it has sleep powder, stun spore, poison powder and 
confusion.
But it did get the job done and that’s all that matter’s now…

Me and Ash then started making our way to Fuschia City, when we finally got 
there I
went straight into Safari Zone. I caught a Taurus (level 30) and a Hypno 
(level 30),
Ash caught up with a trainer named Richie, Ash told me all about the Indigo 
Plateau
with him and Richie. Ash then remembered the memory of the last Indigo 
Plateau
Championship
