We followed Pikachu into the shack and found that it led to a long, dark, tunnel. We followed. The tunnel was narrow and wet, but we could fit through with some room to spare. It was very dark. I wish I had brought a flashlight or a pokemon that could use the Flash HM.

Then we heard a noise like finernails being scraped on a chalkboard and an evil, feminine cackle.

"What's that?" Ash started to say but I covered his mouth. Peeking around a corner in the tunnel into a big room, mostly empty, we saw Butch and Cassidy, the Team Rocket members! "Ha ha ha!" laughed Casidy. "These electronic insects will bite pokemon and send radio receivers into their bloodstream." "Oh," said Butch, "So is THAT how they work?" "Yes," Cassidy continued, "Then the radio receivers will pick up hypnotic waves from Hypno, and the pokemon will be led back here, just like this pikachu did."

I should have known! Butch and Cassidy were behind this scheme! "They used to chase me around trying to steal my Pokemon," I whispered to my friends, Ash, Tracey, and Misty. "They specialize in using drowsees and hypnos in attempts to steal pokemon."

"Gee," said Misty, "And we thought we had a hard time with Jessie, James, and Meowth. Butch and Cassidy are much smarter. This will be hard."

Then Butch spotted us. "Cassidy! Who are these intruders?" He pointed at us. "Give back my Pikachu!" yelled Ash.

"If you want your Pikachu, then prepare for trouble," said Cassidy.
"And make it double," chanted Butch.
"To infect the world with devastation."
"To plight all people in every nation."
"To denounce the goodness of truth and love."
"To extend our reach to the stars above."

Cassidy glared at Butch and took out a big hammer similar to Misty's.

"You dimwit!" she yelled as she flattened Butch's head, "Say the motto right, not like those two fools, Jessie and James."

"To extend our wrath to the stars above," moaned Butch.
"Cassidy!"
"Butch!" Butch jumped off the ground. Obviously his head didn't hurt anymore.
"Team Rocket circling the earth, day and night."
"Surrender now, or you'll surely lose the fight."
"Raticate!"

"Give back Ash's Pikachu!" yelled Misty. Her head was boling red, and she took out her mallet and began to pound Butch and Cassidy. Cassidy took out her hammer, and hit Misty. We all joined in the fight. Pikachu stood on top of a cage, watching us with evil red eyes.

"Oww!" I yelled. Cassidy had hit me hard in the stomach. I kicked her hard and she doubled over in pain. I might be small, but I am very strong from training with my pokemon. I was fighting Cassidy by myself. All the others were trying to do in Butch. Butch was surprisingly strong, and Ash, Misty, and Tracey fought as hard as they could to subdue him.

Eventually, I knocked out Cassidy and helped my friends. Soon, both Rockets were lying on the floor, barely breathing.

"Now what do we do?"
"I don't know, but what was that awful sound we heard when we were in the tunnel?"
"It was the hinge on this cage."
"Oh."

"I think I know what to do," I told them. "I think we have to find the Hypno they are using and battle it so that the radio receivers in Pikachu will be deactivated."
"Good Idea."

We walked along a single tunnel that led out of the room. It was very wet, and there were puddles on the floor. It was very long, and we felt the slimy walls with our hands because it was so dark.

Thankfully, after a few minutes in the tunnel, we emerged into a smaller room. In the far corner, there was a big sphere, made of glass, and the glass was glowing softly with purple light. And inside the sphere was Hypno.

I sent out Poliwhirl, who did a water gun attack. The strange glass melted away.
"Poliwhirl, water gun!"
I sent out Pidgeotto.
"Pidgeotto, use mirror move!" Pidgeotto would mirror every move that Hypno made, protecting us.

Misty, Ash, and Tracey released their pokemon, and commanded them to attack. After ten minutes of feirce battling, Ash's Charmander and Squirtle, Misty's Staryu, and Tracey's Venonat were knocked out. One final water gun from Poliwhirl knocked out Hypno.

"That must have been a really high-leveled hypno."
"Yeah, now let's go get Pikachu."
"Wait," cried Misty, "Where's Togepi?"
