The Island of Lost Dreams - Part 1 By Jessica Hutchinson I sat in an old willow tree. I could see the other Pokemon playing chase on the grassy field below. I felt different, I felt alone. They had their respective trainers to keep them happy, but me, all I had was myself. When I was born, my mother abandoned me. I was left to defend for my self at an early age. I was determined, though, to live. I trained hard everyday to become better at defeating my opponents. When faced with a stronger opponent though, I fled. It was the only thing that was keeping me alive. One day I decided to fight a strong opponent. But luck had the better of me, and I was left to die. It was then that a little girl found me. She took me home and cared for me. I found out what it was like to be loved. She kept me alive, and gave me love. In return I gave her protection from the other wild Pokemon. Though one night, she went out to her grandmas for a visit. She never returned. I remember looking through the window of her home and seeing her parents crying. I float there for what seemed like forever. On one side stood a Rhydon, and the other, an Arcanine. In the end, the Rhydon was on the ground, knocked out. They trainers then shook hands and went their separate ways. Soon after I continued down the road. As I walked, I thought how I was going to start my adventure. I thought maybe continue to the nearest town and find a Pokemon there to tell me were I could find Pokemon of my kind. Or I could find a trainer, allow myself to get caught and continue with them till I find the same species as myself. I decided to go with the first decision. As I entered the town I started to feel hungry. I could smell all sorts of different foods, but I didn’t know how to obtain them. Maybe I could just sneak in and grab some. What could they do? I would just teleport away. Well I did just that. But I didn’t need to flee, because they didn’t seem to notice. I sat in an alley and started to eat. I heard some sounds behind me. I spun around and looked. Standing just 3 feet away from me was a large…
