Kali is a Pokémon watcher, someone who researches Pokémon and publishes their findings. Phelim seeks to become a Pokémon trainer. But while Phelim learns what it truly means to become a trainer, a dangerous man begins plotting to create anarchy with shadow Pokémon. Pokémon include a loyal Psyduck, mischievous Treecko, pyrophobic Charmander who is dependant on his sister, an Umbreon who vows to recover his stolen pack, and a Scyther who hates Phelim for capturing him.
