Chapter 1: First day.

High school...So many new people, so many things to do. Wonder how it'll be here? I find it rather unusual that pokemon like us need education on anything, but my parents did it, so I guess that leaves me no choice. Oh, well. I'm headed to school on a tropius now, so it won't be long. My parents got me into the dorms somehow...a really big one, too. Serenade's there, so at least we'll have something to do. Anyways, I suppose I'll go now, I have to get my room number and schedule and unpack.

I was on my way to the front desk when I carelessly bumped into another student, sending both of us falling to the floor. I got up and brushed off, along with them. The person I bumped into was a quilava, presumably male, and he seemed a tad bit embarrassed from the encounter.

“Um...Hey there.” I said. He just looked at me for a bit, saying nothing, then he walked off to the desk.

“Okay? See you around...” I trailed off. So much for a new friend. Why must I be so clumsy like that? I've only been here for five minutes... I headed off towards the front desk and got my schedule along with dorm 278. My classes were Survival Combat, Creative Writing, Geometry, Lunch, Aperture Science, Johto History, and AP Computer Programming. I suppose those are the classes I signed up for. I headed for room 278 and was Greeted by Serenade, who invited me in and helped me unpack.

“Oh, look, another female! I say we're getting great bait, don't you, Flare?” A guy behind me said. I turned to see a grovyle, croconaw, and typhlosion behind me.

“I agree, Scythe. Quite the catch, for some shrimpy freshmen.” The typhlosion sneered.

“What did you call me?” I retorted. There is no way in hell I was letting him do that.

“What are you gonna do about it?” He insulted back. Oh, he was messing with the wrong girl. I flared up and got a grin from him. I swung a firepunch at him, hitting him square in the chest, but he got up and pinned me down.

“Let me get something through to you, small fry. I'm the leader of this room, this school. If you don't listen to me, I will not hesitate to kill you. Although I don't see why I should, you're rather charming yourself. What, are you a virgin or something? I can take care of that if you wish...” He insulted. The two others laughed and egged him on. “I am going to mess you up so bad by the time you're out of here that your parents won't even recognize you.” He landed a punch square on my nose, which caused me to wince in pain as it bled. He was about to land another punch there, when two charmeleon rushed in, tackling him off me and pinning him down, threatening to slice his neck with their claws. Serenade took me and rushed me to the nurse while the two got Flare to stop.

“Oh, dear, something happened on the first day?” The audino said, seeing my bleeding nose. Serenade explained the situation and how Flare punched me in the nose. I was given a cloth to absorb the blood until it healed. I sat there for a good half an hour before the blood stopped flowing before Serenade and I were sent back to our dorm once more. As I was headed back, I saw that one quilava from earlier. He seemed familiar for some reason, but I swear I've never seen him before. He gave me a quick glance before heading into his dorm on the far side of the school. I headed back into my dorm and I found Flare laying on his bed across the room, along with the two others. The two charmeleons were on their bunks glaring at him, watching closely at his reactions. I sat down with Serenade on my bunk and we took out our Nintendo 3DS's and played some 3DS multi-player. Good thing classes didn't start until tomorrow, it would be a long day...
