Part j

of heart's demise

Peter stared in horror at his companion. Lisa, his love, his life, his partner in crime, lay sprawled on the rocky ground. He should of seem that rockslide coming, but he didn't. Her blond hair was covered in crimson, crimson blood.

He picked her unconsious body up into his muscular arms, running with all his might to the pokemon center. Her blood stained his black elite uniform, he didn't care anymore. Running out of the dense forest, images flashed into his mind. Lisa, at the Intermediate Agent concil where they first met, the rush of active duty they spent together, the wind blowing her fine hair during their time using an air balloon, he didn't won't to lose those moments. The trees cleared and a building with a large pokeball centered the clearing. He ran towards it, body in arms.

A Jenny stopped him at the gates. "Team Rocket! You are under arrest!"

"Please, my friend Lisa is injured! Let me in!"

"No, now put you and your companion's arms on the ground, slowly." The blue haired woman said thinking this was some sort of planned attack.

"Please! She's dying!" Pete screamed failing his lose arm that was dripping with blood.

"Get down!" The officer said again. Lisa stirred.

"Peter." She mumbled in pain. He put her down and sat next to her.

"I'm here Lisa." He said stroking her hair with his bloody fingers.

"Peter, I love you." She said turning to face him. "Goodbye."

Peter lie on his knees. Staring at her lifeless face. Jenny kept saying things about arrest, he didn't care. For the first time in years a tear fell down his cheek. It was to him that life ended already. He gave his gaze to that woman who wouldn't let him save her, who was responable for not being here. His eyes were dark with the fury equal to nothing, his mind bent on one thing. "You killed her." He said slowly as if to not believe it. The Jenny stopped talking. He said it again, the blood on his lips sprayed with each word. "You killed her." He paused and found he was walking toward her, covered in the blood of a heart's demise. He said it again. "YOU KILLED HER!" Peter screamed at the top at his lungs lunging for the uniformed woman. He tackled her. In feriousity he grabbed her gun, pausing looking at the face of fear on the woman's face. She would feel the pain he did. He fired. A spray of blood covered him again. The woman fell limp on the concrete. Just like his love, it wasn't enough. Footsteps were heard of someone who heard the shots, he ran into the woods, seeking his revenge.
